First Day

Jian got up from the bed and went to her purse. She took out the form going over all the requirements she had to follow. It was around 12 when she finished. Jian looked at the contract and opened her purse. She took out her pen and signed the papers.

When Jian was putting up her things she saw her notebook. Jian thought, "Should I text him?" After ten minutes of looking at the pros and cons, Jian chooses not to text him. She opened her notebook to another page and wrote about her day.

The next morning she woke up following her morning routine and walked out to the living room when her mother was also walking out of her room.

"Good morning, mom," Jian greeted happily. Her mother smiled at her responding with, "Hey honey, I am going to be home late today so don't wait for me tonight."

Jian sighed, she knew her mother was always working. Jian had a calm tone as she replied, "It's ok Mom. Also, I will be out today so don't look for me at home, oh right I told you yesterday right?"

"No, you didn't tell me anything." She said and Jian gulped a little pulling the documents from behind her.

"Well, you know about the business project that Mister Brown gave us right, I decided to work at a modeling company to find out more information, I was hoping you could give me permission and sign the parental contract," Jian said in a soft tone. "Please," she added desperately and her mother sighed.

"Are you sure, you want to work Jian?" Her mother asked and Jian nodded determinedly. Her mother reached out a hand towards the documents saying in a cold tone, "I will let you work, but if I see any negative influence in your life because of this, you know what happens right?"

"Yes mother," Jian responded her head down, as she passed the documents to her. "It seems fine and the benefits are good, just let me know as soon as you feel something is wrong ok?" Her mother asked her tone softer and gentle. Her mother took a few minutes to read over all the contracts and then signed them, after taking a few photos she gave them back to Jian.

"Here you go, before you leave eat something." Her mother said as she petted Jian's head. She walked away as Jian smiled saying, "Alright, thanks Mom, bye." After they bid each other goodbye Jian left home as well.

She walked towards the elevator while putting on her mask. She was about to get to her floor when the elevator stopped at the floor before and a boy walked inside with a man. Then the man seemed to have a cold aura while the boy seemed happy. Jian noticed something but kept it to herself, and got out when the elevator stopped at her floor.

Jian then walked to Miss Louras's office happily saying, "Good morning Miss Louras." Michelle Louras looked at her and said, " Morning hun, so what are you going to do."

Jian smiled and said, "I have the contract. I don't oppose anything and I am really grateful for this opportunity."

Michelle smiled and said, "Alright that's great. Let's start right now cause I need a model right now."

Jian bilked and asked, "Right now. As in today's my first day."

Michelle Louras started to walk out of the office with Jian following her while saying, "I know this seems a little rushed, but I just got an urgent photo shoot contract an hour ago, and I need it done by today. Also, the models I have can't fit into the outfits presented. So come on let's go."

The two arrived at the elevator and got inside. Jian saw the same person from before inside the elevator. However, this time the boy was with another man. He seemed to have a much more friendly aura. Jian didn't talk, but she did overhear the conversation between the others.

Michelle was the first one to greet, "Oh good morning Mr. Heon." The man replied, "Ah morning Miss Louras, how is your day going?" Miss Louras smiled and answered, "It's been very good. " She turned towards Jian saying, "Just training a new artist. How about you?"

Mr. Heon laughed and looked at the boy. He said, " Nothing much just dropping my son, Johnny, off at my friend's place for some time." Miss Louras turned her attention to Johnny, who had on glasses, and asked, "Ah I didn't even notice Johnny was here. How are you?"

Johnny whose attention was on Jian looked at her smiling and said, "I am ok Miss Louras." Miss Louras smiled not noticing the tension between the two teens. Johnny's piercing eyes looked at Jian as if he was upset, but Jian didn't care and walked out with Miss Louras on their floor.
