Peaceful Evening

Jian sighed as she finished the last stiches before answering John's question, "x quals 13." John smiled asking, "Should we stop?" Jian shook her head saying, "I need to study as much as possible for finials next week, can we go over more of the probability questions."

He nodded as he flipped through the packet looking for another question. "A six-sided dice is rolled 72 time, how many times can you expect to land a 2?" John asked and Jian smiled saying, "12, Johnny are there more difficult one?"

He shook his head saying, "I can't seem to find any, why don't we continue this tomorrow." Jian sighed before saying, "Sure, can you check on the soup again and you can turn it off now since it's almost 6." He nodded before getting up and walking into the kitchen.

"You finished," he said noticing Jian clean up as he walked out. She nodded saying, "No, I am just moving them inside, looks like I won't be sleeping." He sighed asking, "You been staying up again?" Jian nodded before looking at his frowning face saying, "Don't worry, it wasn't till past midnight just until 11, plus I took a few naps in school, so I am good."

He sighed helping her clean up before she placed the corset onto the dress form and lacing it up while he cleaned the rest of the room. Jian smiled stepping back asking, "What do you think John?"

He paused watching as she turned the dress form and he smiled saying, "Jian you missed a part when lacing but the dress overall is beautiful." Jian giggled at her mistake not stressing about it as she glanced at the other dresses.

Each one on their own dress from, two were gifts from John and the other three she got from Isabella when John and she went to pick up extra tule for the Earth dress. John smiled placing a hand on her shoulder saying, "You did great, how about resting now."

Jian nodded as she turned to face him saying, "We should, and Johnny thank you again for all this." He smiled hugging her saying, "Your welcome."

The two hugged for a few minutes before Jian's growling stomach caused them to burst into laughter. "Shall we have something to eat," Jian suggested as they walked outside. "Sure, the soup needs time to cool down so how about some chips," John suggested and Jian shook her head, "I can't eat anything that's considered junk food until the fashion show, I been gaining too much weight recently."

He frowned asking, "Is that what the company wants?" She shook her head saying, "No, it's just during the last photoshoot I had I was barely able to get into the new dresses they sent so, I think it's best if I start losing weight."

"Jian, I understand weight is important, but why not try to tone your body rather than starving it," John suggest and Jian raised his brows asking, "what do you mean?" He smiled saying, "Try working out instead of dieting so harshly, I know you already eat healthy enough so there's no need to cut out junk food completely."

"Oh," Jian said looking away and John smiled reaching out to hold her hands, asking her, "Do you want to work out with me?"

She looked at him her heartbeat quickened suddenly, and John laughed explaining, "I mean if you want to work out with weights, I have a gym at my place so you're welcome to stop by anytime you want. Plus, I don't really have someone to workout with so it would be fun for me too."
