Good Morning

"So, what do you think?" John asked letting go of her hands and Jian smiled saying, "I think that's a great idea." Jian grabbed a water bottle asking him, "When did you start working out?"

"When I was 9, after enrolling into academy," he said, and Jian looked at him concerned. John smiled at her expression saying, "It's alright now, don't worry so much about the past." She sighed leaning back saying, "I know, it's just you have shouldered so much yet you are always so bright."

"Jian, you know I," he paused closing his eyes as she reaches out to hold his hand before he continued, "I am not hurting as much now, so please don't worry about me."

Jian smiled saying, "Nope, I think I will continue to worry about you, as much as I can, and in return you can also worry about me." He opened his eyes, his heart beating faster than ever, as he took in a deep breath before saying, "Deal," as he squeezed the hand he was holding.

Jian smiled at the light blush on his ears as she let go of his hand saying, "I am going to get back to work." He smiled clenching his fist before he pulled out his phone. The rest of the evening was spent with small conversations as the two enjoyed a bag of chips before dinner then they headed to bed.

...

The next day came as Jian slept in a little as Jesscia prepared breakfast. "Good morning, John," she said to him as he walked out the room. "Good morning, Miss Kim," he said before yawning. She smiled asking him, "John, tea or coffee?"

"Coffee, please," he said sitting down as she got it ready asking, "John, is your back, okay?" He smiled saying, "It's not as bad as the first time." Jessica nodded glancing at Jian's room noticing the pile of bedding used by John to sleep on the floor neatly folded and put away, while Jian she was still asleep. Jessica glanced at her saying, "I guess she was up all night sewing again."

He smiled taking the coffee she passed along with a plate of pancakes saying, "She went to bed around 12 so she should be up soon, thank you."

Jessica sighed as she looked glanced at the room and he frowned asking, "Are you alright?" She smiled saying, "Not really, I just wish she would take care of herself a little more."

"Miss Kim, it'll be alright, plus she'll finish school this week." John said and Jessica smiled saying, "That's true," She placed the half empty cup in the sink before turning off the stove. "Could you let her know that I am going out to get groceries?" Jessica asked as she walked out the kitchen.

He nodded as she smiled going towards her room quickly grabbing a purse before walking out. John glanced at the closed door before turning to see Jian walking out.

"Good morning, John," Jian said as she walked out putting her hair up. John smiled turning towards her saying, "Good morning, ah, Miss Kim went out to get some groceries." Jian frowned saying, "But we got groceries two days ago."

"Jian," John said and she smiled asking, "What's up?" He smiled before asking, "Are you free next Saturday?" She thought for a few seconds before she shook her head saying, "Not Saturday I have a fitting rehearsal, but Friday I am." He nodded asking her, "You want to go see Adrian with me?" She smiled saying, "Sure."
