The rain pitter-pattered on the roofs of houses, the sound of hustle and bustle filling the streets. People pushed past one another on the sidewalks, but one young man was standing still.
This particular young man wore a black hoodie, the hood making it hard to see his face. Glasses covered his eyes before he took them off, revealing a pair of brown eyes as he used the shirt that was underneath his hoodie to wipe the rain off of them. He let out a long sigh as he put his glasses back on, shoving his hands into his pockets. If it wasn't for his hood, the people on the streets would be able to tell that the young man looked troubled. "I'll be late if this keeps up," he mumbled, staring at the ground. "It sure would be nice if it stopped raining." Almost like some magic had just happened, the rain stopped, and the man starting walking, taking his hood off to reveal the face of a seventeen year old boy.
However, in a building not too far away, an entirely different young man was in the process of carrying out his job.
This young man wore all black and he was taller than the other young man, more muscular as well. Of course, you'd never be able to tell that if you didn't see him without his shirt on. Black hair littered the top of this young man's head, his bangs going into his eyebrows. This man had a slight tan, but in the darkness of the building he was in, no one would be able to tell that. Sighing, the young man looked at his wrist, where an expensive looking watch lied. "I'm gonna be late for school," He said, rather loudly at that, as he stared at the man that was in front of him. The man was tied up, looking at the young man like he was begging. The young man chuckled snapping the other mans neck as he stuck a steel card into his throat, a black raven printed onto the card. Right as this young man, who now looked like he was around 17, exited the building he was just in, the rain which had just been coming down stopped. "Today might actually be my lucky day.. Yeah right." With that, he started to walk to his destination.
