Chapter 1

Now, not many people would expect that the first young man and the second young man would have the same destination. Their destination? A high school.

Yawning, the young man wearing a hoodie sat down at his desk in his classroom. The young man looked around, opening and closing his eyes a couple of times. Even though he saw the same thing almost everyday, he did like to take in his surroundings. The walls of the classroom that he was in were painted white, almost as white as the young man's skin. There was only one window in the room, and that was by the teacher's desk (which was an odd shade of red) at the front of the classroom. The door to the classroom was located on the wall to the right of the young man, towards the front of the room.

Desks lined in four rows and three columns filled almost all of the classroom. All of the desks were dark brown, besides the one that the young man was sitting in. The sound of high school students chatting filled the room, but the young man wasn't chatting with anybody. Why? Well, he was quite shy, and he only had one real friend. "MInato!" Someone called, causing the young man to turn his head.

The source of the voice was none other than that of the young man who had snapped someone's neck earlier. He, the killer, was Minato's only real friend. However, Minato had no clue about what his friend did.

The young man from earlier looked a lot different now. While his attire was pretty much the same, dressed in a black shirt and black pants (which was definitely against dress code. They had uniforms after all.), his facial expression was different. He looked a lot more cheerful, happier even. "H-Hajime," Minato said, staring at the young man with a smile. "The one and only," The young man, now known as Hajime, responded. "Did you hear? Apparently a new girl is supposed to transfer into our class!"

Minato sighed, staring Hajime in the eyes. "Y-You aren't wearing your uniform," he said, completely ignoring what Hajime had said. The uniform Minato was talking about was one that every student was supposed to wear.

The uniform was quite simple, really. Boys were supposed to wear a white, button up shirt with a red tie and black pants. Hoodies and jackets were permitted, although they were frowned upon. Girls, believe it or not, were allowed to wear pretty much anything they wanted. Weird, right? Well, even though there were lots of complaints from the boys about the school being sexist, their policy stayed the same.

"That's because I feel like I should be able to wear anything I want to if the girls can," Hajime said, yawning as he took a seat beside Minato. "I feel the same way!" A voice belonging to a young girl said.

Now, you would expect someone who had just spoken up and started to talk to continue to talk, but no. This young girl immediately blushed brightly and turned her head away, keeping her head down.

The girl, who some might consider rude, was a girl that was two years younger than everyone else in the classroom. With an hourglass figure, red hair that went down to her waist, and an umber skin tone, most people would consider her the perfect woman. That, on top of the fact that she was an actual genius, would make most men go crazy. Not Minato though, because Minato actually had a small fear of most women. For some reason, he felt a lot better around Sara. He just couldn't show it. However, if it wasn't for the fact that Sara had the smallest breasts in the school and was scared of most men, she would have a boyfriend already. There was however, one specific man that she really liked, and that was none other than Minato. Of course Minato had no clue about that.

Right as it looked like Hajime was about to say something, a tall, older man who wore a name tag that said Itsuki walked into the classroom, followed by a very soothing scent.

"Quiet down class," Itsuki said, sitting down at his desk. Adjusting his white shirt, he let out a groan as he heard Hajime start to speak. "Why do you always use your ability when you walk into the classroom?" "It's to get the class to quiet down, Hajime." Hajime didn't have a response to that as everyone in the class took their seats, while Itsuki started to look for anyone that was absent. It was apparent that he was the teacher of this class. "Is Junpei absent?" Right after he said that, the door to the classroom was pushed open by seemingly nothing. That was until, a young man appeared out of pretty much nowhere.

The young man who looked like he had appeared out of nowhere was none other than the Junpei that the teacher was looking for. With a slight tan and a very muscular build, which was apparent even through his school uniform, Junpei looked like he was the strongest student in the classroom. Not only did he look like he was the strongest in the class, it looked like he was the most popular too. All of the guys in the classroom acknowledged him walking into the class with a little nod of the head, and all of the girls stared at him. Well, Sara was staring at him for a different reason.

As they walked, it was pretty obvious that the rest of the school looked exactly the same as their classroom. Pale walls with doors, were on both sides of Minato's class as they walked down a seemingly endless hallway. After at least a minute or two of walking, they arrived at a pair of double doors, which opened to a room that looked a little different from the rest of the school.

While the room looked pretty much the same to the rest of the school, pale walls with a high celling, there were a lot of weird looking machines in there attached to the walls.. About eye length height to Minato, these machines were white with a small screen on them, as well as a small area that marked where you were supposed to put your feet. Junpei instantly walked ahead of the class and stepped onto the small area, causing Itsuki to tell him that he planned on talking to him after school.

The once dim screen flickered for a second before turning on, displaying a white screen with an outline for someone to place their hand in. Pressing his hand against it, the machine beeped a little bit before a screen appeared.

Ability - Stealth

Class - C

Allows the user to turn invisible.

Itsuki sighed, but nodded his head. "Well, there's a demonstration for anyone who forgot. Place your hand where the machine tells you to, and it'll display your ability."

One after the other, students walked up to the machine, doing as instructed. Once it got close to Minato's turn though, he started to mumble. "It sure would be nice if I didn't have to do this." Immediantly after, Itsuki looked at Minato. "Well, for anyone who thinks they don't have an ability, you can sit out." Minato and Hajime both let out sighs of relief as they walked over to one of the walls and sat against it, the cold tile pressing against their backs through their clothes.

"That's pretty lucky," Hajime said to Minato, continuing to face the students that were testing. Before Minato could speak up, Junpei walked over to the both of them. "Come on, Hajime," he said, grinning. "I thought you had the strongest ability here! You broke the machine last time after all!"

What Junpei was referring to was the last time the class did their ability tests. Right as Hajime had pressed his hand against the machine, it started to short circuit, before it eventually stopped working completely. Everyone in the class thought it was because he was so awful, not even the machine could understand it.

"That's not very nice," Sara said, right as she sat beside Minato. This small action alone caused both Minato and Sara to blush brightly, considering they both had small fears of the opposite sex. However, Sara was also blushing because she was sitting next to the boy she had a crush on, and Minato was also blushing because he found Sara attractive.

"C'mon, Sara," Junpei said, winking at her. "You know it's true. Just like how it's true that you want to be my girlfriend." Sara groaned after this statement. "I do not want to be your girlfriend, and I never will be."

What, a love triangle? Nope, not even close. See, while Junpei had feelings for Sara, Sara absolutely despised pushy men and Junpei happened to be pretty pushy. "Please?" He asked, staring at Sara. "Leave me alone." One of the things Junpei hated was not getting what he wanted, and after pursing Sara for so long, his patience was starting to run thin. Getting in front of Sara, Junpei reached his hand out to grab her, but before he could Minato grabbed his arm. "Lay off, man," Minato said, staring at Junpei.

"Or what, small fry?"

"Or I'll have to use force."

Right as it looked like Junpei was going to swing, Hajime stood up. "I'll go do the damn ability test if you leave my friends alone." Looking pretty satisfied, Junpei nodded. "Looks like we have a deal." Sighing, Hajime walked towards the ability machine, along with Junpei. Turning towards Sara, Minato offered her a small smile. "S-Sorry for not doing anything sooner."

"Don't be sorry, silly! That was amazing!" Sara said, smiling at him. Just saying this was causing Sara to blush even more, but that didn't matter right now. What mattered was the fact that the machine Hajime was testing on didn't only short curcuit when Hajime placed his hand on it this time, it actually exploded. The whole class started to laugh loudly at this, causing Hajime to become furious. "I hate all of you!" He screamed, starting to walk out of the room, but not before a steel card with a black raven printed on it fell out of his back pocket. Confused, Junpei walked up to it, only to grow furious as he saw what was on the card. "That motherfucker!"
