His Truth

2 Weeks have passed, but Drake couldn't get a chance to talk to joy as these last two weeks were so busy as many Car accidents due to heavy snowfall came. Drake was both a C.S and a G.S too, So he was quite busy these two weeks.

Joy too was pretty much getting used to her work, she found a friend in Clair and a younger brother figure in Peter, just in two weeks Joy found herself few good moments. She never forgets to get flowers for Clair and spend quite good time with her after finishing her work.

And, Peter never got tired of talking about himself to joy all the time.

Joy Now was not only Doing cleaning work but also Helping in many other works. Sometime she would help nurses or she would take old Granny and Grandpa on a little walk and talk with them, just to let them have some peace and fun. Joy was Enjoying her time working in the hospital for the first time in her life she was enjoying her work by helping others.

After finishing her cleaning on 13th floor Joy went to the 14th floor, She changed the bedsheets cover and did the cleaning work. Peter was checking a Patient and saw Joy, He asked her to wait for him.

Joy Noona! You haven't eaten yet? right? Let's go together I am finished Checking up, said Peter.

Okay, said Joy.

As both Joy and Peter were passing by Drake's Office. Drake saw Joy through his Office Window Laughing with Peter, He stood up and hurriedly went to the door and opened it and Called Joy's Name. Joy! Joy! Wait.

Joy Turned and said," Hey! Drake How you doing? It was quite a busy week for you? right?

Yeah! It was Joy, said Drake and Looked at Peter and said," What are you doing here?

Hmm... I came to check on Dr Embrey's patient, and now I was going to Cafeteria, said Peter.

Okay? With Joy? Said Drake With Little Jealousy in his voice.

Yeah! Doctor Drake. What? Why? Uh!!! I mean Okay, but Joy Could you come to my office after lunch? I need to talk with you, said Drake.

Hmm... Okay, said Joy and she left with Peter to the cafeteria. Drake was still Looking so jealous and confused about why she can't go to the cafeteria with him but she can with Peter? Am I that bad?

HUh! That Idiot? Why he has to be this friendly with her, wondered Drake and went back to his office.

After a While Joy leaves to meet Drake at his office, She knocked on the door. Come in, Said Drake.

Oh! Joy, it's you, Come in please, You don't have to knock. Drake Asked her to sit and said," Joy I wanted to apologize to you.

Apologise, for what Drake? questioned Joy. About that day, when you saw me and Doctor Embrey.

Joy stood up and said," No, You don't need to apologise for that, It was my fault I just barged in your office without knocking and I ruined your Moment with Doctor Embrey.

What? a moment, No, Its not what you think Joy, I don't have anything with her? said Drake all tensed up. Hey! Come on, You are my friend, You don't have to hide this from me, and you know what, I am happy that you moved on and giving yourself another chance. She seems to like you a lot, and she is smart, beautiful and cares for you. you two would look great together. Drake, you are my friend and I think she would be so better for you Drake, said Joy. What? Did Embrey said this to you? asked Drake. She must have said something. No, Why would she? the look on her face when she was with you, tells everything Drake, said joy.

Drake Just Stood there all silent after hearing Joy, and took a deep breath and said," Yeah! you are right Joy. After what happened between us, I thought I really should move on and here I am Now. with Embrey, Said Drake.

Okay then, I am going home, See you tomorrow Drake, said Joy and she left.

sometime later Drake left to General Patient ward on the First Floor. He checked on a few patients.

As he was leaving He saw Peter at the reception, He went to him and asked," Hey have you checked all the patient I gave you? Yes Doctor I have, said Peter.

All right, said Drake and Just stood there staring at Peter. Anything else Sir? asked Peter.

Drake couldn't stop himself and just asked him straight," hey? What the deal with you and Joy? You two seems quite friendly?

Hmm... Joy Noona is very nice. she is. Drake Interrupted Peter and asked," what? Noona?"

Yes, Said Peter and began to Explain Drake What Noona Means, but Drake just cut-in and said," I know what Noona means in a frustrated voice.

Okay! I need to know something, Did something Happen between Joy and Doctor Embrey? asked Drake. I don't know Sir, but that day when I asked Noona to call you, Doctor Embrey came to us when we're in the cafeteria. She asked me to leave, so I don't know if she talked to Noona or not? Joy Noona also didn't say anything to me, said Peter.

And she never will, Because she never tells anything to anyone, murmured Drake. But later that day I heard over some nurses gossiping, they were saying Doctor Embrey Was warning Noona about something, I don't know what was it, Said Peter.

Okay, you go, but don't tell joy what we talked here, Okay? Said Drake. But Why are you asking About Noona? asked Peter to which Drake replied," that not something you should worry about Doctor Peter, Okay? and left to meet Embrey.

Drake Went to find Embrey. He searched for her on General Patient ward but she was not there, Then went to her Office on 14th floor.

Embrey was sitting in her Office, Drake just Barged in her office, When Embrey saw Drake She stood up smiling and said," Hey! Drake, how come you are here? were you missing me? Baby?

She grabbed his hand and was about to hug him.

Drake Pushed her to the wall and said," what did you say to Joy? What? did she say something to you? Ahh! I knew She would Do this That Creepy girl, said, Embrey.

She didn't say anything, But I think You are the one who said things to her, What did you say to her? Drake Asked Again as he hit his fist on the wall.

Well, I just told her the truth, said Embrey obnoxiously. Drake asked in anger What truth? Embrey.

That you and I are meant to be together and You are mine honey, and I won't let her Seduce you, so that she could take use you for her pleasure, said Embrey in seducing way.

Drake Turned his Back on her and shouted, " how could you say that to her? Why you are doing all of this? Because I love you, Baby, said Embrey Smiling.

But I don't Embrey, I don't love you. shouted Drake. Well, You used to when we were in high school, we dated for 2 years, said Embrey smiling.

It all ended when you broke up with me for another guy, I Moved on and so you? Then why you are messing around my life now, said Drake. I know, It was my fault, I should never have left you, and I am sorry for that, Please Now Just come to me Drake, You Love Me, and I know that, said Embrey and hugged Drake.

Drake Pushed her away and said," No Embrey, I am over you, I don't love you, I never did, I just liked you back then."

Oh! you can't be over me Drake, I know, you still love me and, Before Embrey could say anything else Drake just Lost his temper and just shouted," I don't love you, I love Joy, and its always gonna be Joy, okay, So just stay away from her. If you ever tried to hurt her I won't tolerate that."

Huh! So, I was right, that trash just seduced you and see how you are all over her. she is using you, Drake.

Stop it, Embrey, Just stay away from her, and she never did anything, I am the one who fell for her, and I don't know when? How? It's Just Whenever I look at her I just felt that I just need to be with her.

So please Just leave both me and joy alone Embrey said Drake with a lot of anger and sadness in his eyes. He then Left Embrey's office and went out to get some air. He was sad. He was so overwhelmed that he could have cried. He wants Joy to be there but he just holds back his tears, and said to himself," How can you think Joy that I could ever fall in love with someone else. I love you, Joy, Why can't I be the part of your life?" Drake only wanted Joy to be part of his life forever.

Embrey was angry because she thinks that Joy came in between her and Drake. She said to herself," I won't leave you alone Joy, You would have to pay for what you did Joy.

Drake loves Joy but just to make Joy Happy he hide his biggest truth that he truly loves her. there is Drake who can't resist falling for Joy and then there's Joy Who doesn't want to fall in love.

Where destiny is gonna take Joy and Drake, and what Embrey gonna do now?
