Into the Realm
"Who are you exactly?" Kaminev asked in Russian . The men around curious, unsure of what is going on. Zoe meanwhile looks at her father and mother shouting at them in a fury of emotions, "WHAT IS ALL OF THIS? WHAT MORE ARE YOU HIDING FROM ME?!?"
"I'm sorry to not tell you about any of this Zoe. Meet your grandfather," she moves herself to make Kaminev be seen, "Lost in a portal by the Soviet Union's own doing. He is finally free at last."
"Is this the Soviet Union?" He asked, confused by his weird new surroundings. "No. The Soviet Union has collapsed a long time ago," Elson replied in Russian. Kaminev is shocked. How could a great nation fall so quickly? "Now for more important matters. Kathryn and Daniel Lane. You are under arrest for the possession of a destructive weapon. Dwayne and Shelly are to follow me after this and shut this devic-" he was ranting about when red slimes ventured out of the portal. "Oh no..." Kaminev stammered in Russian, watching in horror as their arms formed a long sword. Men shriek in horror, shooting bullets at them to the paranoia of Elson. These bullets were useless against them. One by one, the men cut down and assimilated into horrifying creatures that looks like a zombie but screams like a mix between a cat and a rhino.
"SHUT IT DOWN!" Elson shouts, trying to control the situation as Dwayne and Shelly quickly escorted Zane and a still angry Zoe out of harms way. "That's impossible Elson! The switch to shut it down has been destroyed in their fall!" Daniel shouted across the room to a horrified Elson. They cannot be stopped now. He watches as Kathryn and Kaminev struggle to put the creatures down, each cut down only allows them to reform. More angry. Suddenly a volley of slimes splatter onto the slimes. They screech in pain as Elson turns around to see Dwayne and Shelly welding what looks like slime rifles. "Let's have some fun!" Bryony shot out of Dwayne's neck, grinning, preparing to charge at them when they stopped. They turned around to each other, seemingly talking in a weird language.
"What are they saying Hektor?" Shelly asked confused. "No it can't be! They know her?!?" Hektor shot out of Shelly's arm, both looked at Bryony in confusion. Suddenly Shelly sees a huge slime, taller than the rest appeared coming out of the portal. It looked humanoid, with the exception of a reddish hue. Although it lacked the looks of a strong man (like Dwayne with his assimilation with Bryony), his eyes however have the ferocity of a serpent. Seemingly gazing down at the group remaining, freezing them in their tracks and ripping their souls apart. Kaminev instantly recognizes the creature, shouting in seething anger. The one that he knows controlled the army of slimes, the one that seemingly was ahead of him, finding his hiding spots every time, "Draxas."
"Hmph... Kaminev where did you think your going?" He looked at Kaminev intimidatingly, speaking in fluent, flawless Russian, seemingly as if they managed to learn about the languages at school (if they even have any). Dwayne and Shelly stammered as he returned his gaze to the rest in the room. "Bryony and Hektor... I heard a lot about you...Slaying Silston's children with ease..." catching Shelly and Dwayne off as he spoke in fluent English, confused by who Silston is. "Your hosts are laughably weak however," He taunted the duo as they stared back in anger. Only to look down (ever so slightly) when Draxas shot back. "It's about time you both paid your dues. Slimes kill them." He gazes back, grinning as everyone in the room freaked out. Elson ordered a retreat as his team get cut down one by one. But Draxas slithered around quickly, blocking their path. "Not so fast. When I say you die. I literally mean it." He giggles in evil laughter, continuing to taunt them as more slimes cornered them.
"Alright Draxas...Kaminev along with my son and I would give ourselves in. So long as you don't kill them..." Bryony and Hektor reluctantly said as Dwayne and Shelly made their way to Draxas watched as he lowered himself to Dwayne's and Shelly's height, seemingly judged them as Dwayne and Shelly breaks out in cold sweat. "Alright then. It's a deal. But if they don't follow our orders... we may just take over the world...hahaHaHaHAHAHAHAHAHAH..." He made a maniacal laughter as everyone gets intimidated. They stammered at their spot as he gave the order, "TAKE THEM AWAY."
"Our punishment huh..." Dwayne and Shelly looked, sighing as they are carried away into the portal. Kathryn cried bitterly, seeing how all her efforts had gone to waste...fixing the machine up, only for him to be taken away again. With one final glance, Dwayne looks at his uncle with sorrow as they are brought into the unknown.
