Superwoman I

"Push, you're almost there."

The more the doctor told her to push, the more she felt angrier at the man by her side.

"It's all your fault. You want a baby? Next time, you give birth!" She screamed while pulling at Quincy's hair.

He was in pain, but not as much pain as she was feeling.

"Calm down babe. No need for a second child at this moment."

She wanted to retort, but her contraction wouldn't let her. She pushed so hard multiple times, she thought she'd faint.

"It's all your fault." Those words had been echoing since they left home at 4 in the morning.

At 10:32pm, a tiny baby finally popped out.

Quincy breathe a sigh of relief when the nurse carried the baby in her arms.

Before he could detach Seraphina's hands that were attached to his hair, she grabbed at it again, then let go, drifting into a deep sleep.

"There's another one coming out," the doctor announced.

At that time, she had given up on scolding her husband. The pain felt unbearable, but she knew she had to bear it. She just needed to verbally release some of her frustrations. She felt really sorry for husband.

At 10:45pm and 10:50pm, two more babies were brought out. She had fainted after the first baby was pushed out, so she wasn't aware of the other two.

Quincy didn't have anytime to be stunned as he looked at his wife with tears in his eyes. She was actually carrying triplets.

They had requested only for the health of the baby to be reported to them. Even during the scans, Seraphina had kept her eyes closed, listening only to the heartbeats. Quincy only had his wife in his eyes.

She had given him not one, but three precious babies. When they grew up and asked about the day they were delivered, it would be a good tale to tell.
