Hua Meili could hear the worried voices of both Guo Zhongcheng and Zhongcheng Qingren trying to catch up with her to stop her from this almost impossible task that is more like a suicide mission.

They know just how strong the Mutant was compared to Hua Meili who looks so fragile that with just a blow from the wind, she will be blown away.

They do not believe that she would be able to stop it or even kill it because they always think that she was just a fragile little Missy that needs to be protected from all the harm the world could bring to her.

But before they could reach her, Du Hexi stop them in their tracks.

She stared a little longer at the dead body of the Phase 2 Mutant still not believing she really did it, she had killed a Phase 2 Mutant!

Seeing the impossible happening in front of them, the two looked at her with drop jaws for a long time before snapping out of their trance,

"Xiao Mei! Thank goodness you are safe!"

Guo Zhongcheng quickly ran toward her and check if she had any injuries.

He looked at her with wide-open eyes, awe could be seen in his eyes.

The fight that he had just witnessed moments ago was very quick that he could only see a blur and the Mutant was already lying dead on the ground the next second.

It was just really too… awesome!

Hua Meili let out a laugh seeing Guo Zhongcheng looking at her with sparkling eyes, just like a little girl seeing her idol for the very first time.

Suddenly, the awe in his eyes turned worried and he started crying.

"Cheng ge, I'm fine, and besides I won't go on a battle knowing that I will only lose. And don't be such a crybaby, you're getting uglier."

Hua Meili teased the silly bun but still, she was touched knowing that he was worried about her safety.

She playfully wipes the tears off his face using her hands, she opened her palms wide and wipes from his forehead down to his chin back and forth.

"It's your fault for making me worry, stop that!"

Guo Zhongcheng pouted and slap her playful hands away, albeit gently.

"Alright, alright. It's my fault."

"Hua Meili, you were really amazing back there. You keep on giving us different surprises each time. I'm ashamed to admit this but you are much stronger than I am, I admit it."

Zhongcheng Qingren admitted his defeat with a faint rise on the corner of his lips.

When he was looking at the fight earlier, he could not help but admit that Hua Meili is far stronger than he is but he will one day in the future surpass her.

He will not be this weak as he will be in the future, he can't stand it just standing at the sides as he can only be forced to watch who will be the one to win.

The anticipation and the fear combined with fear really put him on edge, he can't accept this reality of being too weak.
