Bryce was the first and only son of his family. His face was feminine to the point he looked like a girl but that didn't stop his parents for loving him. His parents were actually very supportive because of one, he was still a young 18 year old boy that looked like a 14 year old boy and two, he was the closest thing to a daughter they have ever had.
Even more after knowing that his mother could never have another child in her life according to the world's best doctors they inquired. Yup, they could afford the best doctors in the world (ka-ching). Another thing is that they were very open minded (I hope every child has parents like him).
He lived his life almost without any problems, not just because his parents were the founders of the only virtual gaming company in the world but also because he was loved by his parents. There is also the fact that they are literally one of the richest family on earth! Ahem.
But because of that, he was always kept safe. He wasn't allowed to go outside and only people closest and trusted by his parents know him or had ever seen him. Most people only know that his parents had a child and that he is a boy.
He was happy and he was given love, he was taught to be kind and proper.
On his 5th birthday, he shocked his parents by telling them he already read and memorized all the children's book he was given (which were a lot BTW) and even the company report his father left on the table while he was playing was memorized by him.
Bryce casually said, "This was a great story book, father! Another one! Another one!".
They later soon found out that he had the perfect memory which again shocked but made his parents glad. They were obviously intelligent people too.
On his 13th birthday, he had already read all of the light novels and manga he could ever find in the internet, bookstores and pretty much anywhere since he just needed to request something and his parents would provide.
Having the perfect memory he quickly read through the things he didn't like that much but slowed down extremely when he read something about things he love like fantasy genres novels. He actually kinda dislike mech and robots genre but not to the point of hating it. He just didn't prefer it. He was more of a adventuring in a forest guy than being inside a gigantic fighting robot. Her mother approved of it since her son actually was interested on something she also liked. His father was a little dissapointed but was ultimately fine about it since although he would have loved to talk about the technologies he created with his son, he loved him as much as his mother does. (you'll understand why)
His parents were already hardcore fans of games, RPG and fantasies so although other people might think it would be harmful for their child to read all those things, it wasn't for them.
His mother was actually quite proud. She had a dream when she was still in her teens, obviously when she was a way uncontrolled but genius like lady otaku, that she would read every light novels there were ever was with preferred genres of course. Sadly, she hadn't been born like her son with a perfect memory but still she had read a lot far more than your average otaku.
His father was of course wasn't any inferior than her mother. He loved playing RPG games and same with his wife, he was a genius but in gaming and technology. His parents actually met while cosplaying for the first time.
Her mother cosplayed as a Fairy Queen who eventually became a goddess of beauty and knowledge while his father cosplayed as a demon king who eventually became the The Demonic God. The characters were in the same anime but they also had one more in common. They were pretty OP furthermore they were enemies. Like enemies of Dark and Light.
As soon as his parents met, they pretty hit it off. If a hero and his princess has a 100% chemistry, their chemistry was tens of times as that. After that they had their own adventure (in real life of course) and made the first virtual game in the world. Although Bryce was an otaku too, not a diehard fan though, but it was enough for him to wish he could also live the life inside a fantasy world.
I should mention that his parents were pretty cunning to the point that they hid the process of any information of the technology they used to make Virtual reality tech.
Any plans, ideas, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING related to their success was hidden ABSOLUTELY. That's also the main reason why no one had ever outdid them in this field. Even the president of a small country, although not necessarily, might need to show some respect to them even if it was broadcast live to the whole nation. They were pretty OP if you think about it.
On his 15th birthday, he was still happy but lonely, not having any siblings or friends, he decided to dress up as a girl and sneak outside. Being raised with those kind of parents, you could see he didn't mind it a bit. It was the perfect disguise since only a few people knew his face and no one would ever suspect the richest family's only son to dress like a girl. It might sound easy but it's really not.
To sneak outside their mansion undetected, you need to bypass all the guards, all the security cameras, all the caretakers and all the traps around the mansion. You could see how his parents were very protective of him. Don't underestimate the guards, they were all top of the top and the security cameras almost leave no corner, leaf or space unseen. Luckily he was a genius with a perfect memory. It was extremely hard at first but he actually was able to bypass all those. Considering that he memorized all the scheduled times when the guards would change and patrol, calculated the exact time the security cameras turn and even dressing as a servant before safely going out of the mansion.
Author: In game terms I think I will give him a level 9/10 stealth
Also, he wasn't affected much dressing like a girl since he was a logical person and was like his parents more, willing to do anything to reach their goals as long as it doesn't harm innocent people. You could see how mature he was. He was truly his parent's son.
Although he was careful and love his parents very much, he was still found out and realized that his parents were craftier than him in ways more than he could imagined. To his surprise, instead of actually grounding him and tightening the security at least ten times (which they usually do every time they found out about an almost leaked data in their company EVERY TIME) they allowed him to go out still dressed as a girl but now with one of the best guards they have. His parents were very kind, crafty, intelligent, and wise parents. They were even more strict with their information and security. That can be seen in the fact that their company is the only virtual gaming company in the world. They are also the only company that sells virtual games and virtual gaming equipment, tools and other things related to VR.
