Chapter 2: The History No One Will Remember

In a world where the only elements that exist were darkness and light. Two ultimate factions ruled, the light and the dark faction.

The people here weren't technically humans since they had no flesh and blood but their bodies are made of energies such as light and darkness.

Half of the world was governed by the white faction, The Original Heaven Family and half of the world was ruled by the dark faction, The Original Abyssal family.

The white and dark faction were like life and death, always equal and keeps the world balanced but that soon all changed one day when the dark faction kidnapped the new-born baby of the ruler of the white faction.

There was a prophecy that the Dark and Light faction had received from their own Goddesses since the very beginning of time in their world.

"At time of our death, an infant will be born

An infant that shall be the vessel

If born from light then I will bloom -said the White Goddess

If born from dark, prepare for doom-said the Black Goddess

Prepare for the day, for our followers will benefit

Only one shall remain"

Both Goddesses didn't give an evil or righteous aura.

They only seem distant as if they had accepted their fates.

They vanished to their own realms and spend the rest of their days waiting for their inevitable death.

They already gave up on their world as they already saw a vision in the future that a superior being that was FAR more powerful than them combined shall soon take their world and instantly destroy their realms the moment that being arrived. Of course, they will also be destroyed. They use every bit of their powers that they could summon and arranged a prophecy that should come true in the far future and let one of them be reborn in that infant's body, saving one of them of the destruction that will come.

They knew that after that Being completely gain their world and exterminate them, that Being will leave. The Being was said to eradicate gods and only transfer a world's ownership to the superior being. They don't even know if the being was a god itself. They only know his objective and his fearsome and overwhelming power. That being won't "harm" the inhabitants of the world and will just move on to another world so they still had hope that at least one of them can be saved after using their combined powers for a single vessel that can withhold a power fit for at least one of them. This was the best they can do in front of that superior being.

Although the Being wont "harm" the inhabitants of the world. That Being would "transform" everyone. They would become something else.

That prophecy happened thousands of years ago but still both factions and the greatest family of both dark and light still acknowledged the prophecy. Both factions were given each a tablet of stone and written there was the prophecy emitting dark and light energy endlessly for each faction. That's why when all of the sudden both tablets stopped emitting their respective energy, the world went into chaos. Both white and dark faction degraded and their powers slowly disappeared until all of them lost their powers but still they were still on top of the world and still ruling equally.

-After 5 years when both prophecy tablets stopped emitting energy-

"FINALLY! We finally have "The Vessel" in the prophecy" a man wearing black robes was laughing insanely as if he already lost his mind.

After 5 years, a baby was born in the light faction and it was the baby of the ruler of the light faction. The baby emitted the same light energy that the light faction lost 5 years ago. When the light faction heard of it, the once gloomy atmosphere, full of despair and sadness faction became lively again and even celebrated for days.

The dark faction was actually on the verge of chaos again. Some of the people even went insane as they already know that the moment the goddess of light would be reborn, the dark faction will cease to exist. Some people ended their life and committed suicide. Some people already went hiding. They couldn't even change sides even if they wanted since it was known that that once you were born in the dark faction, you will automatically be branded by the Black goddess and have affinity with the dark energy.

This also applies to people in the light faction. Some of the smarter ones in the dark faction with a position, decided to actually send all their children that was born after the stone tablet of the Black Goddess was no longer emitting dark energy secretly inside the light faction because the children that were born after that incident hadn't shown any affinity with the dark energy and have a higher chance to be spared by their predetermined destruction. Same applies to the new-borns in the light faction in this 5 years.

The dark faction out of desperation waged a full out war with the light faction while they were celebrating and after weeks of battling, the dark faction actually won eliminating thousands of the light faction. In truth it sounds victorious but take in consideration that the dark faction literally lost more than thousands almost reaching a few millions. Even if they didn't annihilated the light faction, they still achieved their mission.

They successfully kidnapped the new-born, "THE VESSEL"

-In a sacred place in the dark faction-

"My brothers, my sisters. My dark family. We now gather here for the dark baptism of this vessel. After this baptism, all the light energy that the vessel has will be converted into the dark energy."

It seems the dark faction had a way to convert light energy to dark energy. The baby was still receiving an enormous light energy from somewhere, assuming from the powers of both goddess when they were still alive and both made a bargain depending on luck.

This ritual that the dark faction actually has 100 percent way of converting light energy to dark but it will be slow and will take some time.

"After we completely turn this vessel into one of our own, Our goddess will finally acknowledge this vessel and be reborn!" he again laughs maniacally like what he was doing was the right thing. We'll, in their perspective, he was.
