The next day, Dale woke up earlier than usual thinking that she had to prepare a lot since she promised to keep her new look for a week. Dale tried her best to curl her hair but she don't really know how to use the curling iron so she just let her hair stay on its wavy mess. She didn't dare apply a full on makeup so she just use a light press on powder, cheek tint and lip gloss. She then decided to wear a floral summer dress and paired it with strappy flats. Satisfied with what she is seeing on the mirror, she went out of her room and greeted her grandmother. By the time she went downstairs she saw Ed sitting on their living room waiting for her.

"Good morning Dale. Grandma Luds said that I can wait for you here," Ed looks so handsome in his plain white shirt and faded blue jeans.

"What are you doing here this early in the morning?" Dale asked after she got over her initial surprise upon seeing Ed.

"I decided to fetch you today since I didn't get to call you last night. I fell asleep right after coming home from the meeting," Ed explained why he did not get to do what he promised of calling her last night.

"Both of you, come and eat your breakfast," Grandma Luds commanded.

"I have already eaten Grandma, I'll just wait for Dale," Ed graciously declined.

"No, you'll eat again. Join her so that she'll eat more," Grandma Luds will not take no as an answer.

Ed and Dale entered the dining room but before sitting down Dale started to prepare Ed's coffee as she have remembered how he takes it. Dale made sure that Ed have everything he'll need before starting to eat herself. After they have eaten they bid farewell to Grandma Luds and went to school together.

"I like how you look today. Just simpler than you're look after the makeover. You look more beautiful with just a simple getup," Ed complimented Dale without any difficulty. Dale don't know what to say so she just smiled at him.
