All throughout the whole morning Dale and her classmates have been busy on their makeover booth. Their only reprieve is their lunch break.

"Let's take our lunch together Ed," Kylene said this while clinging to Ed's arm.

"Sorry but I'm taking my lunch with Dale," Ed then removed Kylene's hands form his arm and immediately went to Dale's side.

"Dale let's go to the cafeteria together," Ed said excitedly and Dale just nod as a reply.

Seeing the two together, Kylene's stare sharpened and she swore to make Dale's school life miserable. All this negativity went unnoticed by the pair who were enclosed in their own bubble. Dale and Ed were to engross with one another that when they started talking it's like they have their own world that no one can penetrate. Because of this they did not notice the curious glances that were directed to them. They were not able to hear as well the murmured conversations about them. Ed and Dale didn't seem to care that they are the topic of every conversation in their campus. And not all of these conversations are positive.

Just like what she is hearing now while she is at the girls' restroom, "For sure she is the one who forced herself to receive that makeover just to get Ed's attention."

"No, I don't think a simple makeover will get such result. For sure she used some witchcraft," said another girl while laughing sarcastically.

"No, I think Ed is just being gracious by not declining her advances. Knowing Ed he is just being friendly," said by a familiar voice.

Dale had to go out of the cubicle she is using since she can't stay that long while having Ed wait for her at the cafeteria. But instead of ending their conversation upon seeing Dale, the girls still continued spouting nonsense things about Dale. Dale just decided to ignore the group of girls who are so hell-bent in spewing negative things about her.

"I never wish to get involved in any fights that are nonsense in the first place," Dale thought to herself.

She was about to go out of the restroom when she heard Kylene's voice, "Admit it Ed, you're just being king to Dale that is why you're giving her some attention. You just feel pity that no one seems to get close to her."

"It's none of your business. If I feel pity towards Dale or not doesn't have anything to do with you," Ed is already irritated with Kylene.

Dale decided to show herself to the two when she heard Kylene's reply, "Whatever you're saying now I won't still forget what you said about her before. You even said that she is not normal."

"Go away Kylene. Stop wasting my time."

Dale finally went out of the restroom after she heard the receding footsteps of Kylene and faced Ed just like she haven't heard anything.
