Since hearing the conversation between Ed and Kylene, Dale resolved herself to putting distance between Ed and herself. She never wish to attract any attention to her may it be positive or negative. She have even decided that after their school's foundation week is over she will go back to the way she dressed before. By the end of the week their makeover booth was a huge success. All of their makeover videos garnered a lot of views and their FB page got a lot of followings. The feedback to their makeover project was mostly positive that even their school gave a special recognition to their class. But there is one effect of their makeover booth that Dale never anticipated. She got a lot of attention that even online her video and photos were shared a million times. Dale started getting as well offers by different modeling agencies that she already started to not answer her phone calls worrying that it is another call form another modelling agent. And because of this too much attention it's not only Dale that is having a hard time since Ed have constantly made sure as well that no one can get close to Dale especially those who can take her attention from him. Call him possessive all you want but he want Dale all to himself.

The whole week he can feel that Dale is trying to distance herself form him thus one day he can't help himself from asking, "Did I do something wrong Dale?"

"No, of course not," Dale said this without looking at him.

Ed get a hold of Dale's chin and have her face him, "Then why can I feel that you're building a wall between us?"

"You're just letting your imagination run wild. Why would I do such thing to a great friend like you?"

"So I'm just a friend?" Ed asked sadly.

Dale don't know what to answer. She got confused looking at the sadness showing on Ed's face. Ed seen the confusion on Dale's face that all he could do is sigh and hug her tightly.

"Do you think I would to such lengths just to ward off any unwanted attention to you if all I want from you is friendship? Do you think I would spend all my waking hours with you just to show how I can be a great friend? Can't you feel that I'm marking you as my territory each time we are together?" Ed asked all this while hugging Dale tightly. Dale can hear the erratic beating of Ed's heart and she can feel the warmth of his embrace.

"I don't know Ed. All my life there have been no man who have come close like you did. No man have given me so much attention and time like you did. I don't know how to handle the situation I have with you," Dale said with a lot of apprehension in her voice.

"I'm sorry if I'm overwhelming you. Just let me stay beside you Dale and always think that I do all of this because you are more than just a friend to me," Ed said this while looking into Dale's eyes.

"Can we just take it one day at a time? Let's not move too fast," Dale begged. Ed just nod his head and kissed Dale's forehead.
