Chapter 514 Chaos

At the same time inside the Royal Palace, an uninvited visitor arrived at the Ruler's Office. At normal times the ruler would be pleased to see the man in front of him but the current him was too stressed to even bother.

"Why is it you? I asked to meet with Milady," Ruler called out with a frown. "Let me guess, she won't be coming to meet me tomorrow."

A part of him already predicted it.

The golden-robed youth in front of him shook his head and explained in an official tone, "I'm sorry but Milady suddenly got busy and can't meet with Sir tomorrow. She can come the day after tomorrow after all her meetings are done. I came today to pass the message."

"Bullshit. Milady is the one in charge. She can do what she wants so she just doesn't want to meet with me," Ruler argued, already annoyed by the whole situation.

"I can't control Milady's time. I'm just a messenger," the youth replied with a shrug. "Instead, I��m here to resolve whatever troubles you might have. Feel free to tell me."

"Ha ha ha, you really think you can help me?" Ruler laughed maniacally and ordered, "Go and destroy Liu Clan then because by tomorrow there will be no Royal Family."

To his surprise, the youth wasn't even a bit surprised, staring at him in silence.

"So you know…" Ruler muttered, rubbing his eyes. "You both know yet you won't do anything. I guess you already chose sides in this matter. You are supporting that little bastard?"

"The one you call little bastard can face whole Royal Family forces by himself. I think the choice to support him rather than you is obvious," the golden-robed youth admitted, putting his hands into his robe pockets. "I suggest you follow your plan, pass the crown to your son, and then leave this Realm. There is nothing else you can achieve here. It's over."

"Fuck!" The ruler finally cursed, throwing the desk at the youth but he disappeared and appeared as if nothing happened, dodging the desk.

"Releasing your anger on me won't resolve anything. Xuefeng is just more valuable to Milady than you so you should just give up. Go to the Heaven Realm and make a name for yourself once again. It is over for you here," the youth advised calmly but that only made the ruler angrier, this time causing him to punch a hole in a wall.

"Get out," Ruler snapped, at last, no longer having the use of him.

The golden-robed youth gave him one last look and smiled, leaving as fast as he came.

The Ruler kicked the chair away in anger and rubbed his temples, wondering what he should do. A part of him wanted to fight to the death but he knew it was a suicide.

He pulled out a

red pill from his ring and stared at it. The Ascension pill guaranteed him a breakthrough with his current cultivation. Even without it he could do it if he tried hard enough.

"Ruler!"

Just as he considered taking the pill right there to finally end all the problems he had, someone shouted from the entrance, barging inside the room.

It was one of his elders who reported most of the news from the capital. Just his appearance gave him a headache, knowing the elder had nothing but bad news to share.

"Ruler, all four Long-distance Teleportation Stations were taken over by the Liu Clan! All four are now either destroyed or turned off which makes it impossible to bring reinforcements into the Capital. Not only that, but we also noticed all of the Xiao Family and Liu Clan Forces are in the move, gathering around our properties! They must be planning an attack on us!"

The elder quickly reported but the Ruler acted like he didn't hear anything. He just threw the news to the pile of bad news that was gathering for a while.

"It's over," Ruler finally replied, his resolve to leave stronger than ever.

"Ruler….?" the elder asked anxiously, looking at the pill in the Ruler's hand. "Is the Ruler planning to abandon us?"

"Yes. There is nothing I can do to help the Royal Family survive. I will give you one last order before I leave though," the Ruler replied as he took off one of his rings, passing it to the elder. "I already cleared the treasury. There is nothing left inside. Inside this ring there is one hundred million Spirit Stones and many Artefacts that you can sell for even more money."

"Ruler…" the elder muttered, looking completely speechless after scanning the ring but the Ruler didn't stop.

"You will order our guards to spread the rumor that the Ruler of the Realm is dead and killed by Liu Clan. Tell them it's the order from me. I want you to create the biggest chaos in the history of the Capital. After you do that, I want you to take my son away from the Capital and support him until he reaches the point of Ascending."

"…" The elder was silent for a moment, looking like he slowly understood the plan and asked, "What about the Queen? Is she also Ascending with Ruler?"

"My wife? Nope, she will only slow me down. Even though she has Monarch Stage, she never fought so she is weak. There are many beautiful women like her in the Heaven Realm," the Ruler answered in all seriousness. "If you want, you can take her for yourself. Aren't you still single? She is pretty and young so she can give you a few children. Having no one to support her she will grab the only chance to survive which is you. What do you think? Deal?"

Just as he finished, he swallowed an Ascension Pill without hesitation and started cultivating, no longer paying the elder attention. Just as he thought, him taking the pill convinced the elder he wasn't lying.

"Thank you for your trust, Ruler. I won't disappoint you," the elder called out and swiftly left the room.

"Sigh, my barrier was too weak…" Tianshi muttered as they flew back towards the Palace, still down after her barrier was crushed so easily by Xuefeng. "I will try to improve my cultivation so that it is much more powerful."

Although she was happy for Xuefeng, she also had the ambition to be strong like him and support him. If she can't defend against his attack, how would she save him if some stronger opponent appeared once they reach the Heaven Realm?

"Don't worry, it's already pretty strong. It was my most powerful attack so it's not a surprise it broke," Xuefeng cheered her up, giving her a consolation prize in the form of a kiss. "I'm sure you will quickly improve."

Tianshi found that an accurate reward for her efforts and wrapped her arms around his head, taking him shamelessly for herself while leaving only his chest for Lisa.

'Tianshi! Not good!'

Unfortunately, just as their lips touched, her spirit called out in alarm and sent a vision into her mind. Out of nowhere, she found herself flying above the Capital and the sight below her blew her away.

Fire everyone, multiple buildings in ruin, and thousands of cultivators battling in the skies and the streets, not caring about the destruction of the Capital. Mothers with children running away only to get crushed by the falling building or a random fireball.

Chaos, pure chaos. No matter where she looked, she saw death.

A moment later, her mind returned back to the present. She was still in his arms, looking at the confused Xuefeng who wiped her tears away while calling out to her worriedly.

"Tianshi, are you okay? What happened?"

Chapter 515 Fake News

"Tianshi…?" Xuefeng repeated after they landed on the balcony.

Tianshi finally reacted, wiping her tears on her own and explained alarmed, "Xuefeng, I just had a vision… I don't know when, in the next minutes or hours but the Capital will turn into a battlefield. Our people will be fighting Royal Family all over the Capital and many civilians will suffer. I'm only sure it will happen today."

Xuefeng's eyes widened, not expecting such news but he didn't immediately question her, making sure she was okay first.

"Shhh… It's okay. It was just one possible future. Whatever you saw, we will change it and no one will die," Xuefeng assured as he caressed her cheeks. "Are you better?"

Panic wouldn't bring them any good so he chose to approach the case calmly.

"Mhmm, I'm fine…" Tianshi replied, smiling at him to show she was alright but Xuefeng could see she was really bothered by what she saw.

"Let's go inside," Xuefeng decided, pulling the two inside the bedroom and called out to the rest still cultivating on the bed, "Everyone, there is an emergency, come over."

He didn't pay them more attention seeing they were waking up and focused on Tianshi, "You said we will be fighting Royal Family today? Can you still recall the vision?"

"Mhmm, I can. It must be happening in the nearby future as I still had the same clothes as today."

"Can you remember the position of the sun?" Xuefeng asked, having an idea in his mind.

"Sun? Oh!" Tianshi was a bit confused at first but then she figured it out, running outside once again.

This was one of those times where knowledge from Earth came in handy. In this world people mostly valued strength and riches instead of knowledge. Who would bother exploring the mysteries of the sun when they can explore the mysteries of cultivation.

A moment later, Tianshi came back, calling out both excited and worried, "Based on the sun position, we still have around thirty minutes till the vision becomes a reality."

Although it was still a lot of time, whatever Royal Family is planning, they are doing it right now. What Tianshi saw were just the results of their ploys so they needed to act quickly to prevent it.

"Alright, we have to act. Wuying— Where is Wuying?" Xuefeng called out to the girls only to realize that both Wuying and Nuwa were away.

He knew his powers were limited as he didn't have much control over their forces. Unfortunately, both Nuwa and Wuying were gone.

"What happened? Wuying left with Nuwa less than an hour ago," Xiao Wen informed, reaching them with the rest.

"Let me check if she is somewhere close," Tianshi called out, closing her eyes while Xuefeng explained briefly, "Tianshi had a vision. In the next thirty minutes the Capital will

get really chaotic with both forces clashing. We need to stop whatever Royal Family is planning."

"What can they possibly do…? There is no way we will lose against them with their current situation. Even if they attack us directly, they don't have any chance," Xiao Wen countered but Xuefeng had a quick explanation.

"Even if we win, many civilians will suffer and Capital will turn into ruins. We definitely want to avoid it."

"I can't contact Wuying but I can sense she is somewhere in the center of the Capital. Nuwa is together with her," Tianshi informed right after.

"Let's join them. They might already know Royal Family plans and thats why they are gone," Xuefeng decided and everyone nodded aside from Lisa who stood there silently.

"Xuefeng, I won't go with you," Lisa called out when the rest was getting ready to leave. "I won't help you at all if any battles starts and will only become a burden. I will stay here and prepare pills for our expedition instead."

"Alright, I won't force you to come." Xuefeng respected her choice, also thinking it was for the better.

He also looked at Yiren, wondering what she thought about herself but to his surprise, she was already on the balcony, ready to fly away with her wings fluttering.

Xuefeng only smiled to that, knowing very well Yiren wouldn't willingly stay and turned back to Lisa only to receive a deep kiss together with a blessing, "Good luck Xuefeng."

Lisa blushed lightly but she seemed proud of herself, getting courage to steal those advances.

"We will be back soon," He called out after one last look at her and joined the rest, launching off the balcony.

"What? You attacked the teleportation stations to stop Royal Family reinforcements?" Xuefeng questioned in surprise, a bit upset he wasn't invited for the fun. "Why didn't you tell me?"

They were standing one of the stations roofs, treating it as the base of their operations.

"You were training and it wasn't much so I asked Nuwa instead," Wuying replied simply, quickly shifting to the other topic. "We should rather talk about Tianshi's vision. I just checked and we didn't notice any moves from Royal Family. Even if they noticed our actions, they didn't rearrange their forces at all. They only announced that the Ruler is abdicating and passing the crown to his son tomorrow."

Wu joined the conversation and reported, "I also passed the news to my father and he is gathering men just in case they need to interfere. Trade Union was always neutral but because of me, he is willing to help."

"Thank you, Wu, but we should still try to prevent any battles till we are fully ready. We need to finish them off in one full sweep," Xuefeng said, deep in thought. "If he is passing the crown to his son, it means he gave up. He will do anything to ruin our lives as revenge because he doesn't care anymore. Even if the whole Capital will be ruined, it won't matter to him as that is not his problem anymore. He knows that Royal Family rules will be over very soon. He can simply order everyone to attack us and then ascend to Heaven Realm without care. Wait…"

As Xuefeng thought out loud, a sudden conclusion came to his mind.

"What if that is exactly what he wants?" Nuwa voiced it out for him.

"But how will they do it? Most of the Royal Guards won't just brainlessly attack our forces just to die. They need some kind of trigger like—" Xuefeng tried to figure it out when he was disturbed by a landing Elvish Guard member who immediately called out to Nuwa in his report.

"Queen! Royal Family is spreading fake news that Liu Clan assassinated the Ruler of the Realm! Now all Royal Guards mobilize, wanting revenge for their Ruler. They are mainly grouping up to attack our clothing business in the main plaza but our forces were attacked throughout the Capital! We managed to kill them easily but that only escalated the problem."

"Damn! I knew it. This fucker just wants to see chaos and doesn't even care about his people," Xuefeng cursed, already wanting to suggest the same thing.

'Now that it was mentioned, if you look at the sky above the Palace, you can see some disturbance. It seems like the Heaven Realm Portal is opening for the Ruler,' Ming pointed out, confirming their guesses.

"Wuying, take everyone to the main plaza and try to calm down the situation. I will go to the Palace and bring that bastard back. We will show everyone what kind of the Ruler they fight for," Xuefeng ordered, determined to end it all today.

He wanted to kill him tomorrow but he gave them no choice, quickening his death by one day.

Chapter 516 Freeze!

As Royal Palace was in a different direction than the main plaza, Xuefeng separated from the girls half way, hurrying to stop the destruction of the country. He still stayed connected with them, communicating with Tianshi until the range was reached and the connection cut. Although the range increased after Tianshi's training, she still had a lot to improve.

He didn't hesitate and transformed into his Titan form just as he saw the Palace in the distance, increasing his strength to lift Dragon Edge. Xuefeng rarely needed to go all out in the battle but he couldn't show any mercy this time.

'Look at the clouds. They are gathering directly above the Palace. The doors to the Heaven Realm will open any moment,' Ming informed. 'The Ruler must have already broken through to God Stage.'

'He won't be able to escape anyway,' Xuefeng assured confidently as he sped up, gazing at the newly placed barrier in the distance.

Drakos destroyed it once before and he was going to do it again.

"Let me show you my improved Nuke…" Xuefeng muttered as he aimed the sword forward and charged, gathering the power.

There were barely any patrolling Royal Guards but some still stayed on duty. It was hard not to notice a bright shining star that charged straight at them.

"Hey! Stop right th—!"

They cried out but seeing he didn't stop, they moved out of the way, almost getting smashed into pulp by him.

He charged past them before piercing into the barrier with a gathered momentum.

Boom!

The sound-wave blasted away any living soul but it only slowed him down a little, unable to stop his charge. Xuefeng already expected it so he didn't get too full of himself and dove down towards the palace.

'Girls, can you find him for me?' Xuefeng asked, knowing his Spirit Awareness wasn't powerful enough.

'There is no need, he will come to you in the next five seconds,' Ming replied and he suddenly felt a familiar force above him.

He looked up and saw bright light come out of nowhere, splitting the sky into the shape of the door. They spawned less than a few hundred meters above his head.

Unfortunately, he didn't have time to admire them.

Bang!

The palace roof under him exploded, sending tile shards right at him. He swung his sword, blasting them away but then saw a black shadow fly past him, heading straight towards the door of light.

"Fuck!" Xuefeng cursed and immediately launched after the Ruler, wrapping himself with lightning armor.

Fire and Air Qi blasted out of his legs, giving him a quick boost that allowed him to catch up. He didn't hesitate and slashed at the Ruler's side, not caring if he can actually dodge it.

Cling!

He was hit by the sound of two swords clashing before sensing a direct impact on the blade.

"Argh!"

Xuefeng heard the cry of pain and finally saw the Ruler's face after he stabilized his flight, clutching onto his wounded chest. Not only did Dragon Edge slice through the Ruler's sword but also broke his armor, finally stopping his attack with his body.

It was easy to guess that both of those Spirit Artefacts were of Rank 9.

"Where do you think you are going?" Xuefeng asked with a glare, standing between

the Ruler and the door of light.

Surprisingly enough, the Ruler didn't show any fear but instead laughed, throwing the broken armor off him, "Haha! You think you can stop me from leaving?! I think you forgot the God Stage Cultivator's natal ability!"

Xuefeng frowned when he heard it, not recalling any natal abilities but that was his mistake. Just as he wondered confused, the Ruler disappeared, vanishing on the spot.

Thankfully, he wasn't there by himself.

Ling activated the Ether Qi he already prepared just in case and entered into another space with the Ruler right in front of him, rushing towards the door.

Xuefeng only extended his hand to the side, causing the Ruler to smash into it. This ruined both of their Ether Qi, moving them back into outside world.

"You wish," Xuefeng said, not playing anymore and wrapped the Ruler with the power of his Elvish Bloodline, immobilizing him. "I said, you are not leaving today."

He didn't waste any more time on him, punching out four times which caused all of his limbs to break.

He also punched right under his stomach, intending to ruin his cultivation but to his surprise, he had no dantian.

Ling was quick to provide him with an explanation that made sense.

'After advancing to God Stage, your dantian merges with your soul. You cannot easily ruin someone's cultivation like with a dantian.'

"Ruler!"

Multiple Royal Guards caught up at that moment, surrounding him while calling out after his Ruler. No one attacked as the Ruler's life was at Xuefeng's mercy.

"Is this your Ruler?" Xuefeng pointed at the paralyzed man with broken limbs. "He lied to you all, feigning his death so you can all die while creating chaos in the Capital. Is this the Ruler you all want to die for?"

The Royal Guards looked at each other yet they didn't answer him. They also heard from the main elder that the Ruler died yet they could see it was a clear bullshit.

"I thoughts so," Xuefeng replied for them and ordered sternly, "Contact your comrades. If you don't want to see a river of blood stream in the Capital, tell them to stop all battles."

One of the Royal Guards flew forward and replied honestly, "Uhm… We already did when we called for back-ups yet no one responded. It seems the battle already started."

"Damn," Xuefeng cursed and launched without hesitation, rushing towards the main plaza with the Ruler's body.

At the same time, on the main plaza, the battle indeed started just a moment ago.

"Nuwa, why did you kill him?!" Tianshi scolded seeing a dead body drop to the ground, turning into a pulp of flesh.

Just a minute ago the two big groups were facing each other, dominating the whole sky when Nuwa killed someone who cursed at her, calling them a bunch of bitches.

Although she really wanted the man to die as well, the priority was to avoid any battles till Xuefeng arrived.

"Whoops," Nuwa muttered while scratching her head but it was too late for regret.

Royal Guards finally broke and launched a full blown attack, sending thousands of attacks in Liu Clan and Xiao Family direction. Naturally, they didn't stay idle, defending and counterattacking.

If they couldn't have peace, they could only try to minimize the loses.

Tianshi sent multiple shields and buffs onto as many people as she could when she heard Xuefeng's voice in her head, 'I'm coming with the Ruler! How is the situation?'

'Quick! The battle just started!' Tianshi quickly relayed the massage and called out to Nuwa who was about to dive into the whirlpool of the battle, 'Xuefeng is coming! Can you freeze the battle for a moment?!'

'Ah! I really wanted to fight a little,' Nuwa lamented but quickly complied, grabbing Yiren's hand and flew to the middle of the battlefield.

"FREEZE!"

Her shout was as loud as a thunderstorm, paralyzing everyone on the spot, both allies and the enemies. Beads of sweat filled Nuwa and Yiren's foreheads but they held them in place.

At the same time, a small golden dot was speeding up towards them from the distance.

"Stop the battle! Your Ruler is alive!" Xuefeng cried out when he reached the battlefield, displaying the Ruler to everyone. "He lied to you all, feigning his death. He only wanted revenge on my Liu Clan without caring about your lives!"

Everyone looked above at Xuefeng and even after Nuwa released the people, they didn't continue the battle.

Xuefeng didn't stop at that and quickly added, "Today is the mark on the history when the Royal Family stops ruling the Capital. Join and help us build our new future, making the Capital great again!"

Bang!

A horrific thunder suddenly snapped as if to bless his words when a blinding light lightened up their surroundings.

Door of light opened right above their heads and two chains flew out from the inside, piercing into the Ruler's chest. Xuefeng seemed to lose control over the Ruler's body as it was pulled towards the door.

"You can't keep me here! Hahahaha! Heaven Realm summons me!"

Chapter 517 Heavenly Punishmen

Both of the Ruler's shoulders were pierced by the chains yet he was full smiles, getting closer and closer to the door of light. Xuefeng's restrictions on the Ruler stopped working as if the chains sucked in any Qi used around him, probably to stop anyone from resisting the chains.

"Hahahaha! See ya suckers!" the Ruler yelled out in laughter, already giving up on his image.

Xuefeng only frowned but he didn't give up yet. He was hell bent on killing the bastard Ruler today.

Although the chains dragged him away, they were extremely slow compared to Xuefeng's speed. He launched forward and quickly overtook the Ruler, grabbing onto the chains.

Nothing.

No matter how hard he tried, the chains didn't budge, continuing to pull with the same force.

"Haha!" The Ruler laughed even harder, his expression maddened. "You can't stop the Heaven!"

"I can't stop the Heavens but I can stop your life!" Xuefeng called out, aiming Dragon Edge at the Ruler's chest.

His Qi could be nullified but his blade couldn't. No matter what, the Ruler would die that day.

"Die!" Xuefeng cried out and pierced downward, straight into the Ruler's chest.

It went in like a knife into butter yet to Xuefeng's surprise, the Ruler continued to laugh.

"Haha! You can't kill me! We call them Chains of Life and Death! As long as I'm connected to them, you can't kill me!"

'Interesting… I never heard of that," Ming muttered curiously. 'He seems to be telling the truth. I can sense a great life-force from the chains.'

'Then what can we do to stop him?' Xuefeng asked hurriedly, gazing at the door of light above him. 'We are running out of time!'

He didn't want to risk entering into the passage. One mistake was enough.

'Unless you can somehow detach the chains from him, I guess it's impossible—' Ming replied before pausing, getting a sudden idea. 'Wait! Try using your Elemental Bracelet on the chains!'

Xuefeng didn't hesitate as they were almost at the passage entrance and quickly activated the bracelet. It turned into liquid and covered his hand, creating a golden gauntlet. He grasped the chain right after and immediately felt an immense amount of Fate Qi pump into his body.

'It's working!' Xuefeng informed excitedly when the chain suddenly snapped inside his hand, breaking in half.

The other end pierced into the Ruler lost its shine, breaking into small pieces as the Qi inside of it sinked into Xuefeng's body.

Cough! Cough!

The Ruler vomited blood right after, his face not that confident anymore.

His life was only supported on one chain which Xuefeng could break any moment.

Xuefeng didn't wait for even a second and snapped the second chain. The story repeated itself and the Ruler was no longer unkillable.

"And who is laughing now, huh?!" Xuefeng called out, ready to pull out Dragon Edge from the Ruler's chest to kill him when a loud shout came from the distance, stopping his actions.

"Don't kill him yet!"

Normally Xuefeng would ignore it but he recognized the voice.

Drakos sped

up from the sky and stopped right next to them, grinning to himself, "Let's use him a bit before we kill him."

Xuefeng wanted to ask where the hell was he the whole time but he guessed it would only be a waste of time. Instead, he got straight to the point.

"How?"

The Ruler was already a dead man, barely breathing with Xuefeng's sword stuck in his chest. Not only was he bleeding from the two wounds left by the chains but also his sword. He was also completely immobilized, totally on Xuefeng's mercy.

"Just wait. You think that Heavens will stop before they get what they want? When they send more chains, cut them off and let me consume them. They have a lot of Fate Qi inside of them," Drakos explained, already drooling.

"So you only came to eat?" Xuefeng asked while rolling his eyes. "Where were you when we needed you?"

"Shhh! I was obviously hunting! How could I know there would be such a mess when I return?" Drakos shushed him and brushed the matter to the side, dropping on the Ruler's body that freed him from the sword.

Grabbing him by the neck, he flew down while calling out the instructions, "Wait till the chains reach us before cutting them off."

Naturally, even if he were to follow this plan, he would get the cut as well.

'How much Fate Qi were we able get from those two chains?'

'About a thousand Fate Stones worth. It's a lot for such small chain but I wouldn't ruin the chains for such amount,' Ming replied before proposing, 'How about keeping the chains and use them later instead?'

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

He didn't have the time to decide as four chains suddenly exploded out of the passage, heading straight towards Drakos underneath him.

After they extended for a few hundred meters, almost hitting Drakos, Xuefeng cut them off one by one, keeping two for himself while letting the other two drop down into Drakos' hands.

'Perfect!' Ming exclaimed after she claimed them with Ling, putting them both into Ling's world. 'Just as I thought, the chains are unbreakable. Only the Elemental Bracelet, being the Fate Qi nemesis can break them.'

'Doesn't it make them breakable then?' Xuefeng questioned the obvious but Ming replied simply, 'They are breakable only to you! There is only one Elemental Bracelet and you have it!'

Rumble!

The passage seemed to know someone was disturbing Heaven's Work by the sounds of thunder coming out of the door of light. In a blink, the tables have turned. Multiple chains flew out of the hole but this time their target was Xuefeng instead.

He deflected one, dodged another but they kept coming, wanting to overwhelm him with the numbers.

"Fuck!" Xuefeng cursed, forced to teleport away but the chains kept chasing.

Twenty!

One hundred!

The passage barely fit so many chains yet they kept spawning, aiming to punish Xuefeng for disturbing the Heavens.

In just a moment, he was surrounded from all sides with sharp chains heading straight at him, executing the Heavenly Punishment.

High in the sky, two invisible men that were meant to protect Xuefeng from any lethal danger were already sweating, not expecting that he would actually challenge the Heavens into a battle. Even they couldn't stop the chains. They were designed to be unbreakable and unstoppable. Only Godly Treasures from the greatest civilization could counter such power.

One giant explosion illuminated the whole sky when the chains crushed into each other from all sides with Xuefeng in the center.

"XUEFENG!"

His wives yelled out desperately but there was nothing they could do to help him. Even though the light blinded their eyes, they still looked up, waiting to see if he was okay.

"He is fine! I can feel it!" Yiren suddenly screamed at the rest, giving everyone hope.

Crack!

Before the light disappeared, they heard a tens of cracks and then saw multiple chains falling down, disintegrating one the spot.

The light kept getting smaller until it decreased to the size of a person but it wasn't just Xuefeng.

Someone else was inside of his arms, hugging onto his neck with their lips connected.

Xuefeng didn't know what was happening until he felt warm lips covering his. He thought his run in this world was over yet he was thankfully wrong.

Ming who finally pulled away from his arms looked into his eyes and whispered weakly, "I guess… you don't have a choice but to take care of me…"

Just as she said the last word, her eyes closed and she fell into his arms limply, no longer responding.

Chapter 518 Blessing

"Uff… she really did it…" the old man gasped, staring at Xuefeng who hugged the unconscious Ming and flew down the sky. "I didn't think she would actually sacrifice herself for him…"

"Wait… Sacrifice? Did she actually die?" the middle-aged man asked, his face turning pale.

"Of course not but she lost something precious to him. At least that's what I think she did," the old man explained. "There was a rumor that the King of Heavens got mad that Queen Ming didn't want to give her blessing to him. The blessing was meant to connect the two and give a boost of strength to him. The obvious reason she used to reject him was the consequences of this blessing. Not only she would become weakened but she would also lose her independence."

"Independence? So she would basically become his slave?"

"You said it." the old man shrugged. "The King of Heavens got mad because she didn't trust him. Since then there were many problems between them and they constantly argued. Obviously, there can only be one Queen so she can't just give her blessing to anyone. Queen Ming is smart. I'm sure she rejected to test him. Just based on the fact that he got mad, I wouldn't give him jack shit."

"Watch out, you are talking about the King of Heavens," the middle-aged man warned casually but obviously, both of them were against him. "I understand you. My wife is still locked inside the Fate Kingdom. How many years have I not seen her? I want to curse him as much as you do."

"Well, I would love to see his face when he realizes his Queen offered her blessing to Xuefeng," the old man scoffed and moved, flying down. "Come, let's check if Queen Ming is alright."

"Are you alright?"

Ming heard Xuefeng's sweet voice right beside her ear and couldn't help but melt again, her heart acting completely different than before her blessing. Each time he spoke, her body reacted, forcing her to focus on his voice fully.

She guessed it would take her some time to get adjusted to that feeling. Who would have thought the side effects of her blessing would be this strong?

'So he will be my future king from now on…' Ming thought, opening her eyes to look at her chosen one.

Her eyelids were heavy but she felt a deep need to see him.

"Mhmm… I'm fine… Just a little weak," Ming replied, squeezing his neck with her leftover strength.

She stared into his face and smiled on instinct, hugging into his cheek without restraints before whispering, "Please hold me tightly or I will fall… I don't have any strength left..."

"Don't worry, I won't let you fall," Xuefeng assured, hugging her body even closer to her chest. "Do you need to return inside and rest?"

She took her time to reply, busy feasting on his delicious smell.

He didn't know but just a sniff of him made her body react, feeling like to swallow him whole. If she had any strength left, she didn't think she would be able to restrain herself.

"No. I want you to hug me. I want to stay in your arms," Ming muttered, not willing to separate from him. "Also… You can hold me by my butt… I don't mind…"

She could feel Xuefeng acted reserved, not trying to take advantage of her while she was in her weakened state but she wanted the exact opposite.

"Well, okay. It will be easier for me," Xuefeng accepted quite easily, as it was uncomfortable to hold her by her back and reached down, lifting her butt with his hand.

"Yes. After you saved us, Drakos killed the Ruler so the passage closed right after," Xuefeng described and questioned, "Can you tell me what you did? I thought nothing can stop the chains other than the Elemental Bracelet."

"Well, I had the power to give you a one-time blessing. It's meant to increase your strength by gathering the Fate Qi from our surroundings. I wanted to use it inside the Fate Kingdom where the concentration of Fate Qi is the highest but I guess it worked out well here too. We were able to absorb all Fate Qi from the chains and use it to strengthen your body," Ming explained while skipping some of the details and hugged him, breathing weakly, "Hu… I guess I'm still too weak to speak so much…"

"So that's why… Please, don't force yourself to speak if you feel weak," Xuefeng pleaded. "And thank you for saving me. It was greedy of me to think I can repeatedly cheat Heavens."

"You are welcome… " Ming cheered up, rubbing her nose against his neck. "It worked out well so don't worry about it…"

Her fingers were brushed into his hair and she massaged him gently, pretty sure it would soon become her favorite activity.

She finally understood why all of his wives loved to spend time with him, showering him with their love. Not only she enjoyed it but she was at peace at well, her mind calming down.

"I can't see the girls with us… Where is everyone?" Ming questioned, seeing they were reaching the palace. "Are we going to be alone?"

"Mhmm, I told them to stay and help my father tame the chaos while I carry you to rest," Xuefeng replied as he started slowing down, prepared to land. "I will have to go back to help them too."

Ming's heart sank when she heard it.

'No! I want you to stay with me!' She screamed internally.

Xuefeng landed and placed her gently on the balcony floor, asking while supporting her, "Can you stand?"

She was still weak so her legs immediately began to shiver. Ming didn't even need to fake it to convince him.

"I can stand but I doubt I can reach the bed… Can you carry me?"

"Of course," Xuefeng nodded, canceling his wings to enter inside with her.

He lifted the quilt and placed her on the bed, sitting right next to her afterward.

"Are you sure you don't want to return to Ling's world and sleep here instead?" Xuefeng asked as he reached out, checking her forehead for the temperature. "You definitely need some rest. You are really hot."

"I don't want to return. I want to stay here…" Ming replied, staring at him unhappily.

"What? Why are you making such a face? Did I do anything wrong?" Xuefeng questioned, rubbing on her cheek.

"I will rest but how am I supposed to sleep with my clothes on…? I'm too weak to take them off by myself," Ming complained, trying hard to lift herself up to reach to the bottom of her dress but Xuefeng suddenly pushed her back on the bed.

"Let me help you, don't move."

Chapter 519 I"m Ready... *

'Something feels off…' Xuefeng thought as he sat down on the bed with Ming's legs between his own. Her dress had to be taken off from the bottom to the top but just as he touched her thighs, Ming moaned once again.

It wasn't hard to notice that Ming was much different after her blessing, acting like an innocent teen in love.

"Don't worry about me… Just do it. If I could do it myself, I would… It's just my powers are currently locked…" Ming justified her weird actions, looking away from his eyes but kept glancing back at him, blushing heavier each time.

She leaned forward and kissed him, flooding his mind with all of her memories. All of her favorite scenes from her life and all happy but also sad moments.

He could see it all.

"Whenever you want to access my mind, you can do it. We are now one. Forever."

She could see Xuefeng try to process everything so she hugged into him, enjoying his warmth.

"I'm glad it was you who received my blessing…"

A moment later, Xuefeng arms tightened around her and he vowed sternly, "The arm he used to slap you… I will cut it off."

"Now you know why I left…" Ming said softly, squeezing his body even tighter. "I just wanted my baby back…"

"I know… You did nothing wrong…" Xuefeng cheered her up. "We are all together now. That's all that matters."

"Mhmm…" Ming nodded before whispering, "Let's go back…"

She felt like it was time to finish what they started.

Closing and re-opening her eyes moved them back to their bodies but this time, she was at the peak of her vigor.

Xuefeng held her firmly, pinning her to the bed but she could react just fine with her side-effects finally gone.

Or at least that's what she thought.

"Eh? Why do I feel— Ahh! It's not gone!" Ming cried out as explosion of pleasure filled her body.

Despite all the recent chaotic events happening in the Capital, Earth Realm could still be considered one of the calmest and easier to live in. If one compared it with the Heaven Realm, the difference was like a friendly exchange at the backyard with your cousin and a full-blown Battlefield where everything tried to kill you.

Entering the Heaven Realm with as little preparation as Jiao had, she experienced the exact brutality on her own skin.

Blood streamed down from Jiao's shoulder before spilling on the ground, leaving a trail as she staggered towards her enemy who crawled away from her on the sandy ground. Her legs were already trembling so she popped a few pills in her mouth, wanting to stop the bleeding.

"P-please, have mercy! I will do anything! I can even be your slave!" The man on the ground began to beg, knowing very well he couldn't escape anymore when his feet suddenly covered in ice, stuck to the ground.

He was in a much worse state than she was, his body full of cuts and blood. His eyes showed a genuine fear like a person who didn't want to die.

Jiao found his pleading hilarious but she didn't laugh, not really in the mood.

The man's body slowly covered in ice until his screams died down when his head froze as well. Jiao finally reached him and smashed her foot on his head, turning his body into thousands of small pieces.

Thud.

Her legs finally gave up and she fell to the ground, both mentally and physically exhausted. It was her third battle since she entered the Heaven Realm and she still didn't have time to fully recovered, constantly being attacked by a new group of bandits.

Even though she wanted to rest, Jiao gathered her leftover strength and pulled out a dagger that was stuck in her shoulder, leaving a gaping hole. She couldn't help but flinch, her face grimacing in pain yet she didn't let out any sound.

It wasn't time to show any weakness.

Earlier she only consumed some weak pills but that obviously wasn't enough to stop her bleeding. The dagger was poisoned and she could already feel it spread throughout her body, slowly paralyzing it.

Thankfully, her body was already hardened by the constant cold she was exposed for many years so the spread of the poison was slowed down.

He pulled out her strongest, Rank 9 Healing Pill that her sister Lisa prepared for her and immediately felt the relief. The wound began to close with a blink of an eye and in a few seconds, she was fully healed with all her cuts gone as well.

"I love you, Lisa…" Jiao muttered, really glad her sister was an Alchemist.

She gazed at her surroundings as she stood up and smiled. Almost everything within the radius of fifty meters was covered in ice. Although there was barely any greenery in the area, she managed to catch one dead tree which was now all crystal.

She didn't bother with it, knowing she didn't have time to revert it back to normal and instead walked to the dead bandits she killed, collecting all of their rings. Jiao didn't even check their contents as she needed to leave immediately before some other bandit groups discover her or even worse, trafficking sects.

When she saw multiple girls being handcuffed and locked inside the cages as they traveled nearby her hideout, she only wanted to curse. Not only human women but other races like Beastmen and Fae were included too.

Unfortunately, even if she wanted to help them, it was impossible. Their forces were too much for her to handle by herself.

"One day I will track those bastards and rescue those girls…" Jiao vowed to herself as

she flew away, wanting to find a new hideout to recover her strength. Bandits always had friends who could do anything to avenge you so she had to leave as soon as possible.

The only plus to be in Heaven Realm was the abundance of Elemental Qi in the air so she didn't need to worry about resources for now. The thing that troubled her though were rogue cultivators who constantly scanned this area in search of new victims.

Being only in a God Stage, she couldn't really avoid their Spirit Awareness, getting caught every time. Almost everyone who left the safety of the Guarded Cities was either a God Realm or higher. The only reason she was winning was her Ice Domain and her battle skills that proved to be the most important in cultivation with the stage being secondary.

Jiao flew in low altitude, hoping to avoid any contact with others and pulled out the map she got from the bandits. She was heading towards the nearest Guarded City yet she still had a long distance to cross.

"Damn, why did I have to spawn in the middle of the desert with nothing but sand, rocks, and mountains…" Jiao lamented, already hating the biome she first spawned into.

Looking at the map, she knew the Heaven Realm was split into nine different biomes, each element dominating one part of the realm. She must have been a bad person in her past life as she got sent to one of the harshest biomes which were dominated by Earth Element.

She was heading towards the nearby mountain, hoping to make herself a cave where she could cultivate when her body got surrounded by multiple Spirit Awareness.

"Fuck," Jiao cursed and immediately launched forward, running away while trying to suck in as much Water Qi she could.

After her last fight, she completely exhausted her reserves, making it impossible to win any more fights, especially unfair ones versus multiple opponents.

"Catch her! She killed our brothers!"

She heard a loud yell behind her and quickly realized she wouldn't be able to run away. Jiao extended her Spirit Awareness to check the strength of her enemies and as she expected, it was blocked immediately.

The mountain was still a few tens of kilometers away so she had nowhere to hide, having only one option left.

Fight!

Jiao turned around and didn't run away anymore, pulling out her sword to face them. She thought she can at least take some of them down but she underestimated their strength.

Argh!

Jiao screamed as her body got pinned down to the ground with a hard knee pressing her painfully on the back and her wrists quickly handcuffed. She didn't even last a few seconds before they overwhelmed her with numbers.

Without her domain, she didn't stand a chance.

With the handcuffs on, she suddenly felt weak, unable to use her Qi at all.

One of the men covered in black cloak lifted her face up by pulling on her hair and cursed, "Bitch! Did you really think you will get away with killing my men? If only you paid up nicely you wouldn't end up like this. Now I don't have a choice but to let you earn back the money I lost."

Jiao didn't show any fear and instead smirked, replying confidently, "Do it if you dare. Do you think my Clan won't avenge me? They know my location at all times and are coming to pick me up. You will be dead by tomorrow if you do anything to me."

She was a Sect Master for many years. How could she not know how to keep a straight face?

The man paused, staring at her as if to check if she was lying when one of his men proposed, "Boss, how about we have fun with her and then kill her? This way her Clan won't know who did it. If what she says is true, they will come after us even if we let her go."

The boss glared at her and nodded, "Fine, do with her what you want and then kill her. I'm giving you one hour. Don't leave any trails and come straight to the hideout."

"Boss doesn't want to have a taste first?"

"I'm leaving, it's too risky," the boss replied and only took her ring before flying away.

The rest wasn't in a hurry and immediately laid their hands on her.

"Fuck off!" Jiao yelled as she struggled, kicking and biting yet she was quickly immobilized while her mouth got gagged with a thick cloth.

"Hehe, so fierce! Those kinds are the best! Too bad we can't use her mouth else she will bite."

"Hahahaha."

They all laughed, ripping her dress apart until only her underwear was left, displayed for all of them to see.

"Holy shit! We found a gem! I'm going in fir—" The man called out but his speech got cut off by a sudden whistle.

"What the—" the other got alarmed when multiple whistles resounded in the air.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

The next thing she heard was many thuds as if their bodies fell to the ground.

Jiao lifted her head only to see all the man laying on the ground, lifeless. Their necks were severed, bleeding out as if someone cut them with a dagger. She slowly lifted herself, sitting up when multiple people appeared around her out of nowhere.

To her surprise, all of them were female, wearing aggressive leather gear. One of them with a painted scar on the eye walked up to her and covered her shoulders with a cloth, assuring her, "Don't worry sister, you are safe now. We came at the right time."

The woman reached down to her wrists and unlocked the handcuffs for her as well.

"Thank you…" Jiao replied in gratitude. "Do you maybe have some spare clothes? Almost all my belongings were stolen by their boss. He ran away just a moment ago."

"Here, you can wear this," the woman passed her some leather gear and suggested, "How about we help you get back your stuff? We have only one condition."

"What condition?"

"Join us. Our White Lotus Sect accepts all strong females who love to battle and kill. We will treat you well."

Chapter 522 Last Supper *

"You were right. This blessing is amazing…" Xuefeng commented as he reached out, his fist beaming with strength. "I can feel so much power in my arms."

He just finished his session with Ming yet he didn't feel tired at all. On the other hand, she was dead exhausted, laying on him while tightly pressed against his chest. He could still feel her constant muscle twitches from reaching her ecstasy tens of times in a short time.

Her sensitivity was nowhere close to disappearing but instead, it was only intensifying with each limit breached.

"I feel so good right now…" Ming muttered happily, rubbing her cheek against his chest. "It's all your fault. I can barely move now."

Even though she blamed him, her face was full of smiles and her tone sweet as honey. The change in her approach to him was so drastic Xuefeng would need some time to get used to it.

"I really want to test this new strength while using my Dragon Edge. I wonder if I can hold it normally without using my Titan Bloodline…" Xuefeng pondered out loud but Ming didn't let him stand up, pinning him down with her weight while wrapping her legs around his thigh.

"You are not going anywhere," Ming ordered upset. "I demand more cuddles."

She immediately regretted it.

Xuefeng's hand fell onto her butt before squeezing it strongly. Ming was still sensitive so she couldn't help but tremble, pressing her lips to stop her moans.

"So you want more cuddles, huh? Didn't you have enough already?" Xuefeng questioned while pulling her up, just enough to reach her lips and treasure them just as she wished.

Her tongue was already used to his wild tactics, following his command as he explored her moist space. He held her firmly, tilting her body to play with her bare breasts when a sudden whisper replied to his question on Ming's stead.

"We can never have enough of you…"

He recognized the voice very well, listening to it every day for the past months so he didn't hesitate and reached out to feel her body. He found Ling already naked as he traveled up her thigh.

He finally pulled away from Ming, giving her time to breathe as he asked, "What about others? They are waiting for me—"

"Don't worry about them," Ling cut him off. "They are already back."

Xuefeng got surprised and looked at the balcony, just in time to see his wives enter the bedroom.

"Xuefeng! How could

you?!" Yiren called out while pouting, storming into the room. "How could you start without us?!"

Yiren, Tianshi, Yi and Princess Shan walked up to the bed with Yiren jumping on him first, grabbing onto his erection without any shame. He was like a hungry lion that was already teased a million times, ready to pounce on his prey.

"Ah… Yiren, slow down…" Xuefeng called out to calm the situation but Yiren didn't care, swallowing the whole thing while stroking the shaft with both hands.

Even though she acted innocent, it didn't mean she couldn't pleasure her man properly. Ling also dove down out of nowhere as if trying to beat Yiren in the game of pleasure and locked his lips with hers.

"We already figured you wouldn't come back so we returned early," Tianshi explained but seeing he was busy with both Ling and Yiren, she turned to Ming instead, "How are you feeling? You look much better."

"I'm good, thank you. Xuefeng helped me heal but I��m still weak after our session…" Ming replied as she pulled away from Xuefeng, leaving her place for others. "Where is the rest?"

"They stayed behind to coordinate their armies. Wu wanted to return with us but she had some matters to settle in the Trade Union. She knows we will be leaving tomorrow so she needs to pass on her work to someone else."

As she finished, she realized Xuefeng was already completely surrounded by the girls but she didn't hurry, knowing very well her turn would come eventually.

She laid down next to Ming, already treating her like a member of their group and asked curiously, "Have you ever heard about any legendary support figures from Heaven Realm?

Even though they tried to tire him out, Xuefeng still turned out to be the strongest. He looked at all his wives sleeping around him soundly, knowing he exhausted them instead.

They spend the whole night together as it was probably the last night for the following months where they could sleep soundly without any dangers lurking in the darkness. Based on Drakos's explanation, in the Hidden Realm the sleep was a luxury.

He tried to get up from the bed without waking anyone up, letting them sleep some more but it was impossible with their senses.

"Shh…" Xuefeng shushed Wuying whose eyes opened right when he made a slight movement and whispered, "Sleep some more…"

Wuying, Nuwa, Xiao Wen, and Wu came back late at night so they were the ones who got to hug him to sleep but it also hindered his escape. He eventually managed to get out of bed after convincing them to continue their sleep with a couple of sweet kisses.

Dragon Edge shone in the sunlight right as he walked away.

"Perfect…" Xuefeng muttered quietly, his face full of smiles.

He wanted to test it many times and just as he thought, the Sword was no longer heavy for him, acting like a normal sword. Earlier he couldn't do any swift movements with it but now it wouldn't be an issue.

Step, step.

Just as he admired the pretty scales on the sword, he heard footsteps coming from the outside of the bedroom. He turned around just in time when the door opened and he saw an excited Lisa barge in the room.

Immediately after, her eyes widened as she gazed at his naked body and she covered her eyes.

"Xuefeng! Why—" Lisa screamed but Xuefeng cut her off by covering her mouth, appearing next to her in a blink. "Shhh… They are sleeping…"

She looked at the bed through her fingers and nodded.

"Good morning sunshine," Xuefeng greeted her with a smile as he uncovered her lips, letting her talk.

"Why are you naked…?" Lisa finished her question from earlier, blushing as she looked at his body.

Xuefeng only smirked and hugged her, asking playfully, "The question is, why aren't you naked as well? It's the morning after all."

"Ah… Did I miss the special night…?" Lisa finally realized what happened. "I was making pills and preparing for departure the whole night… I just finished…"

Lisa yawned cutely, clearly very tired after she worked hard.

"Don't worry, I will find some special time for you and Wu," Xuefeng assured as he pressed her head into his chest. "You did well…"

Wu was last to come that night, also tired so she decided to sleep right away instead, not wanting to wake everyone. The two flowers were still yet to bloom.

"Mhmm… I even created a new formula…" Lisa muttered softly as she returned the hug, closing her eyes.

"Good girl… Now sleep…" Xuefeng whispered into her ear and lifted her up, carrying her to bed.

She deserved some reward for her hard work. Once everyone was well-rested, they could finally depart, entering into Hidden Realm.

Chapter 523 Hidden Realm

"So you are telling me this is the entrance? Why would you ever jump down to check what is underneath?"

Xuefeng commented dumbfounded as they approached a narrow hole with spiked walls, filled with thick white fog. He couldn't imagine himself just casually jumping inside out of curiosity.

"Hehe, the question is, why wouldn't you want to check what's underneath?" Drakos asked back with a giggle and jumped down first, falling down in the middle. "Let's go! We are already late."

His body disappeared into the mist and his presence vanished right after as if his body was never there.

They departed quite late as Xuefeng decided to let Lisa sleep until she was satisfied. He didn't expect she felt so good in his arms that she didn't want to leave at all. After saying their goodbyes to everyone, they departed all together.

"How about we all jump together?" Yiren suggested as she peeked into the hole and immediately rushed back, hugging onto Xuefeng. "I'm scared to jump alone…"

"We can do it all together," Xuefeng agreed, wanting to make sure no one was left behind. "Is everyone ready?"

"Yes," everyone nodded in sync.

Xuefeng could see the excitement in everyone's eyes, especially Lisa who would soon experience her first adventure.

"Be prepared to fight right after we cross the portal. We don't know what's on the other side.

They hovered above the hole and on Xuefeng's signal, they all lowered down, slipping into the mist. About five meters in, they heard a subtle vibration in the air, coming from the space right below him. They all grabbed each other's hands and passed right through it.

Darkness consumed them completely but thankfully, they were still together which assured Xuefeng. Their bodies wrapped with Tianshi's shields when a sudden bright light blinded them, filling their whole surroundings.

Roaaaaaar!!!

Before they even saw the Hidden Realm, they already heard a reverberating outcry of a beast and then they saw the world around them.

Jungle.

Thick trees the size of a tall apartment buildings and leaves bigger than their bodies.

"Whoa…"

Xuefeng couldn't help but open his mouth in amazement. They were so tiny compared to the greenery around them.

Naturally, he knew it wasn't time to admire the scenery. He searched around for the beast that just let out a cry and quickly found it. He didn't need to look around much as it was right above them!

Two tall legs that he earlier mistook for the trees suddenly moved as the beast stepped forward. They saw the beast's back and the tail the almost hit them.

A giant lizard, looking like a dinosaur on steroids!

Xuefeng pulled out his Dragon Edge, ready to battle when he heard Tianshi's voice in his mind, 'We need to run! Now!'

At the same time, Drakos screamed while

flying up in the air, battling the lizard on his own.

"Hayaaaaaaaa! Take this!"

Bang!

Drakos smashed at the lizard's torso with a flying kick which sent a shock-wave that pushed the lizard away, knocking it back.

The only problem, they were right behind the lizard.

Thanks to Tianshi's prediction, they were already prepared but Xuefeng still cried out in warning while grabbing both Yiren and Lisa into his arms.

"RUN!��

They all flew to the side, away from the lizard's body only to see the ground shake as it finally dropped.

Roaaaaar!!!

The lizard wasn't hurt in the slightest but it was definitely pissed off as it roared once again, glaring at the small enemy above it. Although it looked intimidated by his strength, there was no running away from battle in the jungle. Either fight or die!

"Hahaha! Weakling! You wish you could have such nice wings as I do yet you will forever stay on the ground!" Drakos bust out laughing, provoking the lizard while shaking his butt and wings at its face. "How about you fly and catch me? Ha! You can't!"

It seemed like his banter worked as the lizard immediately tried to lift itself from the ground, showing its sharp teeth.

Too bad, Drakos wasn't its only enemy.

Swoosh!

Wuying launched herself forward, disappearing from the spot and jumped at the lizards' head.

"Hey! This one is mine!" Drakos immediately protested yet Wuxing didn't care, slashing at the lizard eye with her Blood Daggers.

They easily pierced through the lizard's skin, leaving two bloody wounds in the shape of an 'X'.

It wasn't enough to kill it and the lizard fought back, snapping its teeth at Wuying's direction yet she vanished yet again, re-appearing on the other side where she cut the second eye, completely blinding it.

"Roaaarr—" The beast cried out madly for the last time before Wuying executed it in one move, cutting its head off.

Thud.

The battle ended just as soon as Wuying joined it.

"What did you say?" Wuying asked calmly as she looked at Drakos. "I couldn't hear you. I was busy not being a little baby and waving my ass it the enemy's face. Sorry."

"Haha!" Xuefeng couldn't help but laugh at that, searching for water to apply on Drakos' burn.

Drakos puffed his cheeks, clearly angry at her but Wuying broke him with one word, "Yiren."

"Okay! Okay! You win!" Drakos admitted defeat but he still snapped back at the rest, "What took you so long to follow me? What I spawned surrounded by Spirit Beasts? I would be dead long time ago!"

Xuefeng felt like bantering but he stopped himself, seeing a giant blue orb forming above the lizard's body.

"A Spirit Artefact is forming!"

He almost never took part in hunting after hunting the Nightmare, so it was exciting to see another Artefact being born.

Eventually, a sharp spear was formed. Wuying jumped and seized it before flying back to the group.

"Rank 8 Spirit Artefact after just first Spirit Beast. How much money can we earn just by hunting the Spirit Beasts here?" Wu commented as she gazed at the spear and proposed, "We should collect all of them and sell them in my Trading Union after we are back."

"Do you think we will have time to gather Spirit Artefacts as we run from hundreds of beasts?" Drakos countered. "We are just lucky this Rank 8 lizard doesn't like to live in a group else we would have a hard time dealing with them. We should move swiftly through the Realm and get the Elemental Stone as soon as we can. If we focus on hunting, we will never be able to leave from here."

"What do you mean?" Xuefeng questioned.

"The portal we used to get inside the Realm is unstable. It changes its location every few days. Because of that, we can only go back using the main portal, right there." Drakos pointed at the distant mountain. "The elemental Stone is located at that place. Don't forget time is flowing faster in this Realm. The more we stall, the more time passes in the outside world."

Looking at the body behind them, Drakos added, "We were lucky this time. We should leave this place before Spirit Beasts gather to eat the body."

Rumble!

Just as he said it, they heard loud footsteps of a beast coming in their direction.

"That's what I'm talking about! Follow me!"

Chapter 524 Danger

"Aww… Aren't they cute? Look at how they eat their leaves. I want to pet them."

Yiren couldn't help but stare in wonder at the tens of giant plant-eating beasts surrounding their tree. After escaping the group of predators, Drakos lead them to his hideout he made the last time he entered the hidden-realm. It was a small groove he carved inside the tree but big enough to fit them all inside.

Thankfully, just like in every ecosystem, not every Spirit Beast was predatory so they were safe in this area.

"There are few beasts that are harmless in this Hidden Realm and this is one of them," Drakos explained as they stared at the forty meters tall beast with a long neck, chewing on a leaf right beside their hideout. "No one touches them as they are still dangerous. One smack from their tail was enough to kill any beast in this region."

"Region?" Xuefeng asked curiously.

"Okay, let me give you a quick rundown," Drakos called out, gaining everyone's attention. "There is no question that this Hidden Realm is dangerous but what you saw so far was nothing. We are in the weakest region with beasts that mostly don't surpass Rank 8, the equivalent of the Spirit Sage cultivator. The whole realm is made out of three such regions, each stronger than the next.

"If we are careful, it should take us about a week to cross it, reaching the second region. That's when it gets tricky. Most beasts in that region are either Rank 9 or already reached the God stage. The Rank 9's are not really that big of the deal but the God Stage ones are the problem. They are much smarter and generally always lead a group of their kind. Once we face such group, the fight will get chaotic."

Everyone's faces got serious, realizing it wasn't a child play anymore. They were battling someone much stronger than them. What about the third region? Wouldn't the beast be even stronger than that?

"What about the third region? It should be where that mountain is located, right?" Xiao Wen questioned, recalling the tall mountain in the distance, their goal for his expedition.

"Exactly. That's the place we need to reach. I, being the greatest dragon of all time, didn't have problems with reaching the third region but then, I encountered a problem. The whole third region is filled with a strange force field that prevents anything to fly. Even if we wanted to, we can't just fly to the mountain. We have to climb it," Drakos replied, complicating everything even more.

"I know we want to use this expedition to hone our skills but I have a hypothetical question. Can't we just fly to the third region and avoid all beasts on the way?"

"Hah, that's impossible. There is a way why all the

flying beasts are living within the trees. It's because of the king in the skies that dominates the whole space in this realm," Drakos explained with a bitter chuckle. "I am not sure what Stage he reached already but I'm sure he already close to transformation. In a few hundred years, he should be able to transform his body and leave this realm. I'm sure that's its goal."

Xuefeng couldn't help but tease it him, "Can you beat it?"

"Pfft!" Drakos immediately snickered. "Of course I can! I just need to regain my flames! To do that, I need more Fate Qi. There is a big source of Fate Stones inside that Mountain. I just need to get there and then I will show that beast who is the king of the skies!"

"Alright, let's get to that mountain then. I will get my Elemental Stone and you will get your Fate Stones," Xuefeng decided determined when he suddenly felt Tianshi's hand grip his arms strongly.

"Xuefeng! Something bad is going to happen to one of us!" she called out in panic.

It was the first time he saw her this worried. Just as her, he quickly got alarmed and asked seriously, "Are we in danger here?"

"I'm not sure. Everything is clouded in my mind. I only know it won't be you or me," Tianshi explained afraid and turned to the rest, "Everyone! Give me your hand! I need to check your future!"

She couldn't simply tell everyone's future without touching them. She can only see the future she was involved with.

"Wait!" Tianshi froze right after and gazed at Yiren who was standing at the edge of their groove, waving at the nearby plant-eater as if she wanted to play with him. "Yiren!"

Hearing her name, she turned around confused, asking, "What happened? I'm playing with bobby. Look how cute he is."

As Yiren spoke, she extended her hand and rubbed the plant-eater on the nose. It didn't even react, continuing to chew while observing Yiren with its large eye.

Xuefeng didn't waste time and quickly dashed towards Yiren, shouting, "Come here!"

Screeeeeee!

He couldn't even place two steps when they heard a horrific cry from the sky.

Drakos couldn't help but shudder and together with him, all tens of plant-eaters panicked as well. Bobby who was the closest quickly moved, hitting the tree with his body as if trying to avoid the incoming danger by hiding under the tree.

Unfortunately, Bobby seemed to forget his new friend was standing right at the edge.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Yiren screamed in panic as she began to fall but then froze mid-air, stopped by Xuefeng's and Nuwa's bloodline power, acting at the same time to save her. They smoothly pulled her back together when a passing neck of Bobby smashed against Yiren's body, knocking her away.

"Nooooo!" Xuefeng yelled as he flew towards the exit only to see another neck blocking it completely, consuming all the light inside the groove.

Rumble!

Their groove shook madly with each new beast smashing against the tree which almost knocked everyone but Xuefeng didn't stop his charge, pulling out Dragon Edge and pierced right through the tree, creating a new exit for himself.

"Yiren!"

He spotted her on one of the beast's back, totally knocked out from the unsuspected hit. He was never this close to losing someone he loved, making his heart beat like a galloping horse. Thanks to their connection he knew she wasn't hurt but that didn't lower his worry.

SCREEEEEEE!!!!

The same cry repeated, this time much closer and louder, almost deafening. Saving Yiren was a priority in his mind so he dove down but then a shock-wave came straight at him, blasting him back into the groove.

Bang!

He was like a bullet, smashing deep into the way but he wasn't injured thanks to his lightning armor that suddenly wrapped his body.

He saw Nuwa fly out as well, trying to save her daughter but the outcome wasn't different.

Swoosh!

Her body flew like a rocket, almost hitting him as she hit the wall. They didn't know what was hitting them until they heard an earth-shaking voice from the outside and a pair of claws that landed right next to them, catching one of the plant-eaters.

"LITTLE DRAGON! I FINALLY FOUND YOU! ARE YOU GOING TO RUN ONCE AGAIN FROM ME?! I WILL MAKE SURE YOU CANNOT RUN ANYMORE! I'M TAKING ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS. IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO EAT HER, YOU HAVE ONE DAY TO MEET ME AT THE PEAK OF THE MOUNTAIN FOR THE DUEL!"

The next moment, they saw Yiren's body being trapped right between golden claws, carried away on the back of unlucky Bobby.

They were the targets all along!

"I WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THE WORDS YOU SAID!"
