Chapter 15 Finale Haven

Jason looks out over the valley the beauty is nothing he has ever seen the sun rises to greet him with a warm glow his radio crackles to life "Jason it's Victoria some people have just arrived looking for you"Jason grabs the radio "yep I'll be there soon."

Jason feels like he can breath again for the first time in forever he looks better than ever as well Jason continues down the hill to a large patch of grass where a group of people sit around talking "why did you bring them her Victoria they could be here to kill Jason."

Victoria rolls her eyes "oh come on it isn't that bad" Jason crosses his arms "so what's this about" Victoria turns to Jason "there is an odd group here they interrupted my meal now I'm annoyed."

Jason bites his lip "okay I'll talk to them and see why they want to meet me" Jason is lead to a small area where Samantha and the other's sit Jason smiles and Embraces Samantha "good to see you Samantha" she holds him close Victoria clears her throat "right I'm gonna leave now" Samantha let's go of the embrace.

"if you guys will follow me I'll show you guys around we have been fighting with Thomas and his crazy cult" Jason shows his friends the sleeping quarters the food area.

The group breaks off and explores the area Jason wraps his arm around Samantha you look tired she smiles at him "sleeping is a great idea" Jason leads her to a small hut where various items are on the floor Samantha sits on a comfy bed she sighs.

Jason kneels down next to her "you get some rest I need to finish up my patrol I will see you soon" Samantha nods and Jason walks back out to see Chloe she hugs him and starts to sob Chloe's continues to say "I'm sorry" between sobs Jason finally gets her to calm down "I couldn't save her she stayed behind so we could escape."

Jason knows what she means he didn't see their mother with the group he holds Chloe a while longer she dries her eye's and clears her throat "why can't we live in peace?" Jason stand's up "get some rest Chloe okay I will find the people who did this and I will kill them."

Jason continues with his patrol going past a few abandoned vehicles one is burnt from something he continues the path to a road five zombies shamble their way past. Jason pulls out his knife and takes them out it's getting into the summer time where zombies significantly get more and more weaker making them more common in dense forests.

After Jason cleans up a few more roaming zombies he head's back he is greeted by Victoria her red hair blows in the wind "so partner we've got some great news" Jason tilt's his head "yeah?" Victoria nods "come on you'll love this" he is lead into the woods where a large hatch buried in the ground tree branches and grass have made it hidden.

Victoria opens it "well come on" Jason goes in first the sound of his footsteps echo down the long white hallway he sees a large window that is tinted black Jason walk's right up to the window Victoria pushes a button.

The tinted windows turn clear showing a large underground suburb Jason is blown away "whoa what is this?" Victoria points over to a map showing a web of tubes that connect to large circles around America and other parts of the world.

"This is sector Zeta this were made to help humanity if...well a apocalypse started but it never activated I don't know why but by a report I read this place can grow plants without any problems the power supply is through the roof able to keep the whole entire world on power for about 10 years and is zombie free."

"This could be home" Jason smiles Victoria nods "but there is a small problem we need this" Victoria shows a picture of a large machine bigger than a car "what is this?" Victoria smacks her lips she does this when she's about to give some extremely bad news.

"This is Sector Zeta's generator the sector can run without it but this is the only thing that can recharge it and every other generator in other sectors is different from each other and I know where this one is."

"how do you know all this" Victoria deflects the question "doesn't matter the person who has this is your old friend Thomas if we want to be safe we need this" Jason sighs "okay but we need an army to storm his base."

The other's at the camp sit in silence when seeing the sector Victoria speaks "all we need is that generator to finally not have to watch out for undead bandits or even crazy cult's but we have an issue."
