"All I ask you to do is just one thing and you cannot do that either?!" A guy's voice was heard.
By his tone, anyone could tell he was angry.
"Oh, come on brother! I cannot do this!" A girl's voice, apparently the guy's sister said in an arguing manner.
"Look, girl. All I'm asking you to do is tamper with the competition a little. As for traces, I can handle them. Just do as I say." The guy's tone was little down than before but the anger wasn't.
"I said I won't do it so I. WON'T. DO. IT" The girl argued back.
"So, you don't wanna take revenge for our parents?" The guy asked.
"I do...but what if they are innocent? What if the agency didn't kill them. And tampering with the competition can harm the audience as well as the candidates that means you as well!" The girl said.
"I don't bloody care! Just do as I say!" The guy yelled.
"You know what? Enough! I'm going!" The girl said as she walked out of the room and then the house.
"Where are you going?! Hey! Come back young lady!" The guy yelled.
The girl kept walking and walking until she reached a bar which was far away from her home. After reaching the bar, the girl called on a number.
"Hello?" A guy's voice was heard from the other side of phone.
"Hey! Sorry to disturb you at this hour...but can we meet? I need to talk..." The girl said.
"It's 2 am...but leave this. Where are we meeting?" The guy asked.
"I'll send you the address." The girl said and hung up the phone.

Today was the day of Group 2's Round 1. The list of candidates were as follows.

Just like yesterday, even today the hall was filled with enthusiastic audience. Everyone was more excited for this group's round as these people know each other and are experienced. There was just one candidate which was unknown to the audience, Charles.
The matches took place just like yesterday with same rules. The last match of the day took place between Leonard & Charles.

"I had a hunch this guy would participate in this. I knew something was fishy with this guy!" Thought Leonard before the match.
The match started, both of the guys started with some light punches on faces and then the fight got intense. For Leonard, the fight was a bit different. He knew the moves of his other opponents but didn't know the moves used by Charles. It took some time for him to get used to his techniques and attack but as the adaption took time, Leonard lost this fight to Charles.
The scores for this round were as follows.

"Congratulations to Leonard, Charles, Sarah, Jeffrey & Evelyn to making it to the second round. And... Sorry guys...Liam & Jay are out today but we had fun! After two days the second round will take place! Polish your tech skills you guys!" Jordan said.
After watching these rounds the team went to base house to discuss about the next round of the competition.

Just when the team entered. They saw Sam lying down on the sofa with his headphones on and eyes closed. Seeing this, Austin moved to him, removed his headphones and asked. "Why didn't you come to see the Group 2 match?"

"Hello? I asked you something Sam!" Austin said a little loudly.
"Huh? Ah.. yeah...I kinda forgot." Sam said as he came back to his senses.
"What's with you today? You look so lost..." Austin said.
"I'm fine..." Sam said as he got up and drank some water before leaving the base house.
As he drove, a scene kept rewinding in his head. Though Sam was not one of those people who would be really sad on their break ups. But when the relationship is long you cannot help but be sad.
Last night.
Sam was sleeping soundly when his phone started ringing. He picked up the call without even looking who it was. But as he heard the voice from the other side, he was a little happy to hear that voice. Though after why the call came made him worry, but without putting much thought into it he just went to the address.
King's Bar.
"Hey!" Sam said as he looked at Maya standing outside the bar.
"Hey..." Maya said with a little smile as she raised her hand.
"So, what happened?" Sam asked.
"Okay...this is gonna be hard...but I gotta do it." Maya thought before telling Sam.
"Sam...look you have been the best boyfriend and a friend as well...but...I guess I cannot lie to you anymore. So, I will come clean with you. The two years that we spent time, our relationship...it was all set by my elder brother, Charles...he..wants to destroy agency..maybe because they killed our parents...It was fine until the revenge but now he wants me to tamper with the competition so he becomes the head...you were a source of information until now...but somehow...I find this whole thing wrong...I'm sorry." Maya said in one breath.
Listening to this, Sam's mind went blank for a second. His expression went black, his eyes had sadness and anger. Seeing him right now felt that he could kill anyone in front of him in seconds. Despite all this he only said this. "That's great. Thanks for...uh..informing me.."
Maya left after telling and Sam went inside the bar. He didn't drink alcohol but just sat at the bar counter. After a while, he too went home.
