CEO Training Continued. . .

January 2nd, 2027 (Saturday)

KI Group Headquarters, Incheon, South Korea

SILENCE . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Jaehyun coughs. "Ok, everyone get back to work! Yoona, Sujin please come with me."

And just like that, the office becomes alive like it was before, the sounds of keyboard clicks, and voices sounding thought the work space. It was like nothing took place in the office. Sujin, Yoona, and Jaehyun walk out into hallway.

"Secretary Seo," Jaehyun says to a man behind him. "Would you please take Miss Yoona to JaeSeong's office, and inform him of the incident. Tell him he may do whatever he pleases."

"Yes, President Jeong. Should I ask the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) to check all the camera recordings?"

"Please do," Jaehyun says curtly.

"Yes, President." Secretary Seo bows, and drags Yoona, who screams and begs for Jaehyun's forgiveness, away to the CTO's office.

After they walk in silence for about five minutes, Jaehyun turns around and says, "Sorry, little sister. Oppa should have noticed what all the female employees are doing."

"Don't worry Oppa," Sujin says. "It's my first day. I expected to be disliked by some of the employees here."

"But—" Jaehyun starts to say.

"No, buts Oppa. This is bound to happen. After all I'm a new female employee that is loved by the company's princes, some are bound to be jealous." Sujin says. "It's ok. Let's just get to the meeting."

Jaehyun nods. And the two walk in silence again.

When they are outside the meeting room, they can hear raised voices from inside.

Sujin looks at Jaehyun with raised eyebrows. Jaehyun shrugs and opens the door.

Inside the meeting room, papers are everywhere. On oneside of the room the shareholders are all yelling and pushing each other, while on the other, the chief officers and chairman of the company are calm and collected.

"AHEMMMMM!" Jaehyun coughs. "Dad I brought the future CEO here."

At the word future CEO, all the shareholders that were fighting adjust their ties, and take their seats, trying to put on good airs, and give the future CEO good impressions of themselves.

"Ahh. You arrived just in time Jaehyun-ah. We were just talking about when we should hold the press conference announcing that Sujin is to be the CEO." Their Dad says, while looking through the file that's laid on the table in front of him. "Does anyone have any suggestions?"

SILENNCEEEEE. . . . . . .

"Umm.." One shareholder begins, "How about we have her take office at the end of January, but she doesn't have full authority yet. She can only make decisions and changes to the company after she's gotten permission. She would have to get the approval of at least two shareholders and the approval of the Chairman, President, and Vice President."

The other men nod in agreement. The one thing that the group actually agrees on.

"Sujin-ah," the Chairman says, "Why don't you introduce yourself?"

Sujin nods. She bows to the men sitting at the large meeting table, then walks to the lectern. Placing hands on both sides of the lectern, Sujin begins her introductory speech, "Hello, shareholders and chief officers. As many of you may know, I've been out of the country studying abroad in America. In America I studied business, hoping that I would be of some benefit to my Father's company. I've also learned how to make exhibits and how to manage clients. I would like to thank you on behalf of my Father, for supporting this company, and would also like to thank you for allowing me to take such an important position. I hope we can continue to work together, and please take care of me as I start my career as CEO of KI Group."

The men clap, and whisper their approval of the new CEO. Sujin bows and takes a seat next to her father.

"This meeting is adjourned!" The Chairman exclaims. "We'll have a meeting next Friday before the new CF comes out."

The shareholders hurriedly gather their papers and bolt out of the meeting room, not wanting to stay for a second longer.

The Chairman asks, " How was your first day Sujin-ah?"

"It was great Dad!" Sujin says happily. "When do I start training?"

"Next week," the Vice President (Jaeyoung) says. "Jungwoo will train you first since he is the CHRO(Chief Human Resources Officer). This will allow you to get to know the employees and gain their trust. After Jungwoo, JaeSeong will train you and after Jaesong, me then after me, Jaehyun. Then you'll work with father for a couple days, and we'll hold the press conference on the 31st."

JaeSeong knocks on the open door. "Hyung, I finished with Yoona. I gave her a two week notice, and promised her half her pay when she leaves."

"Good," Jaehyun says. "Since everything is done at the company, let's go home."

"Ok," Jungwoo says. "Ready brothers? On the count of three, 1,2,3!"

The brothers simultaneously fix their ties, put on their suit jackets, ran their hands through their hair, then exit the meeting room, walking in sync.

Sujin shakes her head.

The Chairman sighs, "You're brothers only know how to goof off."

And, that was how Sujin's eventful day at KI Group Headquarters ended. With her brothers walking out of the building in style as the sun began to set.
