January 4, 2027 (Monday)
KI Headquarters, Incheon, South Korea
After a well needed day of rest, Sujin finds herself starting CEO training. The first brother that will train her is her older sister's, Sumin's, husband. AKA Jungwoo, the CHRO. His good looks, easy going personality, and social nature make him the perfect candidate for managing and getting to know employees. But, Jungwoo has an unexpected dark side. . . . .
HE MAKES THE EMPLOYEES CLEAN THEIR OFFICES UNTIL THEY SHINE!?!? HE HAS THIS CLEANING DISEASE?!?!?
If even a hair or something is out of place, a spec of dust is seen, he loses it. Basically, this man is a neat freak plus a clean freak. It's like a triple evil!?!? He even carries white gloves and a 12 oz. bottle of hand sanitizer in his suit pocket at all times.
NANIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII????!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!??!?
The one thing the employees all dread is Jungwoo's weekly examination. At the end of the week, all employees know they won't be going home early. They'll NEVER be able to go home early on a Friday afternoon. But, since it's a Monday, no employee expected this to happen.
AN UNEXPECTED EXAMINATION?!?!?!?!???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
The office was in shambles. . . . Things all over the place, papers being thrown, and even animal hair?!?!?!?!?!!!
Jungwoo wanted to show Sujin how he handled the employees, so he didn't tell the employees that he would come in and examine the office. As soon as he and Sujin entered the Customer Service office, Jungwoo was horrified.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" He screams. "What is this?????"
Sujin is horrified as she watches the calm and collected brother-in-law of hers lose it because of a disorganized and messy office. It's understandable if you're mad about a mess, but Jungwoo was enraged. This perfectly neat office he left Friday had become a disaster!!!! The Prince of Cleaning starts to get red in the face as if he's allergic to the mess, and quickly removes himself from the customer service office.
Sujin laughs nervously, "So, how have you guys been? I'm the CEO in training by the way, and that clean freak over there is my brother-in-law. I hope he hasn't given you to tough a time."
The employees all give Sujin death stares, and snort.
⌠Does she really think that we like her brother? If I ever was asked to clean again, I wouldn't!⌡All the employees think to themselves.
⌠Jeeeezzz!⌡Sujin thinks. ⌠They must really not like my brother-in-law.⌡
"Well, it was nice meeting all of you!" Sujin says as she walks towards the hallway. She's almost to the hallway when she freezes at the sight of her brother-in-law in a yellow biohazard suit.
⌠What the heck? Where'd the biohazard suit come from?!?!?⌡
Jungwoo waddles in, clad in yellow, with a vacuum cleaner, duster, and mop. All the employees gape at the sight of him.
⌠He's really something. . . ⌡They think to themselves. ⌠Is he trying to protect himself from nuclear radiation or something?⌡
"I'm back," Jungwoo says his voice slightly muffled because of the biohazard suit. "I'm fully prepared to face this monstrosity."
Jungwoo whips out his handy-dandy vacuum cleaner, duster, and mop. He places the vacuum cleaner, duster, and mop on one of the employee's desks. Then he reaches into the pocket of his biohazard suit, and pulls out disinfectant spray.
"Germs be gone," he says as he sprays the office in mist.
The employees and Sujin cough, dying from the strong smell. Gags be heard throughout the office as well as the sound of vomiting.
"WHO DARED VOMIT AT THE SMELL OF THIS WONDERFUL DISINFECTANT SPRAY?" Jungwoo screams, although muffled by his biohazard suit.
The employees all start to turn green. The smell getting to them and making them sick to their stomachs. Some have even tried to flee the office hoping to escape the dreadful smell, but to their dismay, the office doors were locked.
"HAHAHAHAHA. NONE of you can escape the great power of cleaning." Jungwoo cackles.
Jungwoo then continues his horrid cleaning act. The employees are all suffering and Sujin is too. They cannot get used to the disinfectant spray smell that still lingers in the air, and on top of that, the sounds of the vacuum give them headaches.
⌠This is never ending TORTURE!⌡They all scream in their heads.
AN HOUR LATER. . . . . . . .
Many of the employees are on the floor, too sick to get up. Sujin is suffering as well, but tries to help the employees onto their desk chairs or the lounge chairs in the office.
⌠This is really sickening.⌡Sujin thinks.
Not only is the smell of disinfectant spray still present, but the sounds of the vacuum cleaner is still going as well. On top of that, papers are flying everywhere as Jungwoo throws papers into bins and vacuums at the same time.
⌠This really needs to stop.⌡Everyone thinks to themselves.
⌠That's it.⌡Sujin thinks. ⌠This needs to stop! I shall bring out my secret weapon.⌡
Sujin pulls out her phone and dials a number.
"Hello?" A voice says.
"Hey, Sumin-Unnie. Where are you?" Sujin asks.
"On my way home from the photoshoot, why?"
"Could you stop by the company for a bit and visit the customer service department?" Sujin says.
"Did my husband cause trouble again?"
"Yeah. Unnie, how close are you? He's not even done with the vacuuming yet, and we've been locked in the office for over an hour." Sujin says anxiously.
Sumin sighs, "Wait five minutes. I'll come."
Sumin hangs up the phone. Sujin sighs in relief, knowing that her brother-in-law will be stopped shortly.
Until then, the employees and Sujin had to endure this torture a little longer. Sujin decides that news of Sumin- Unnie's arrival will cheer up the employees. So, Sujin goes to each employee in the office, telling them that her sister is coming to stop the madman. The employees all thank Sujin profusely because it seemed like the torture would never end, but this CEO in Training had somehow found a solution! All the employees felt deep respect for Sujin since she not only found a way to stop that clean freak, but also because she helped all of the employees find a place to rest instead of lying on the floor.
⌠We will fully support this future CEO!⌡They all think to themselves.
⌠Unlike her strange brothers, it seems like she's actually sane, and is willing to go at great lengths to help improve the company.⌡
CLICK!
Everyone turns towards the sound of the door being unlocked. A petite, beautiful woman wearing shades and a white dress walks into the office. She immediately pinches her nose once she smells the disinfectant spray, and looks around the office. Her eyes land on the man vacuuming and sorting piles of paper on the far left side of the room. She pushes her way past all the employees towards the mad man. Once she is a few feet away from her rather eccentric husband, she shouts above the of noise vacuum, trying to get her husband's attention. She tries several times, but to no avail.
"PARK JUNGWOO. YOU PUT THAT VACUUM DOWN RIGHT NOW AND LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE!" Sumin shouts at the top of her lungs.
The man, clad in yellow turns around, sees his wife, takes of the biohazard suit and drops the vacuum, his hands held up in the air.
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT PAIN YOU'VE CAUSED MY SISTER AND ALL THE EMPLOYEES IN THIS DEPARTMENT?"
Jungwoo shakes his head, "I was only trying to —"
"TRYING TO DO WHAT? TRYING TO CLEAN?" Sumin shouts.
She then softens her voice. "Jungwoo, these employees and my sister have been trapped in this office with you for over an hour. They look sick. Do you see how pale they look?"
Jungwoo looks over at the employees, and at Sujin. A flash of guilt present in his dark eyes. He turns back to his wife and looks down at the ground sheepishly.
"See what you've done? Now apologise to the employees and my sister." Sumin demands.
"Cough,Cough.* I'm sorry." Jungwoo says. "I'm sorry Sujin. I'm sorry as well to my fellow employees, please forgive me for the pain I've caused you."
Sujin nods then looks to the employees, "Well, what do you guys say? Do you forgive him?"
The employees nod. "You're forgiven," They say in unison.
"Just don't let this happen again." Sujin says curtly. "We all have different habits, but that was extreme. From now on, you will not conduct examinations, but you will ask that the employees keep their spaces neat and organized. Is that clear brother-in-law?"
Jungwoo nods, still looking at the ground. Sumin takes the opportunity to grab the man's ear. Jungwoo yelps in pain as his wife drags him out of the office, her hand still holding onto his ear.
Sujin and the customer service staff sigh in relief as soon as Jungwoo is out of the office. Sujin turns to the crowd.
"You're all allowed to leave now. If anyone questions you, say the future CEO let the customer service department out early because of an incident in the office. Get some rest and I'll give you guys half of tomorrow off as well."
The crowd scrambles, gathering their things and hurry leave the office one by one thanking Sujin on their way out.
After the last employee has left, Sujin locks up the office, and heads to the President's office. When she gets to the office, Sujin knocks.
"Come in," a voice says from inside.
Sujin opens the door and peeks her head in. " Hey brother."
"Oh. Sujin-ah, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Jungwoo?"
Sujin sighs. "I just stopped by to tell you that I was leaving early."
"Why are you leaving so early?" Jaehyun asks.
"Sumin-Unnie will tell you at home," Sujin says. "I'm leaving."
Sujin closes the door, and takes the elevator down to the lobby. As she's walking through the lobby, she runs into the Chairman who is talking with the Chairman of another company.
"Oh. Sujin-ah. Where are you going?" the Chairman asks when he sees Sujin.
"Home," Sujin says.
"Why so early?"
"Your son-in-law." Sujin says. Sujin then snaps her fingers as she remembers that she gave the customer service staff the rest of the day off. "Oh! I also gave the customer service department the rest of the day off. So if you were going to show them the customer service department, don't. I let them off 'cause they all looked sick. I'm feeling a bit under the weather as well, so I'm gonna head home. See you later Dad." Sujin says as she runs off.
As Sujin passes by the group of men, she feels a tug on her heart. She looks over her shoulder, but doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Shrugging, she turns around and continues walking.
"Now let's continue," Sujin's Dad says. "Shall we gentlemen?"
The group begins to move, but a young man feels a strong tug on his heart. He turns around knowing that the feeling is an important sign. His dark eyes search the lobby for someone that should be there, but everyone he looks at doesn't cause his heart to ache. Disappointed, he turns around and hurries to catch up with the group following Sujin's Dad.
