I wasn't scared at all. The cold breeze and the smell of death was disgusting but after a while I craved more of the scent. I could feel my whole body pulsing in excitement. As much as I hate to admit it, my uncles traits where kicking in again. After spending years with a psychopath, you kind of pick up their traits and become more like them. He rubbed off on me and that's why I hate myself. The truth is I'm just like him, a murderer and a complete psychopath. Meaning I'm not much better than Tae. Although Tae has split personality, his two sides are completely the opposite of each other. Me on the other hand, I'm the same all around I just know how to control myself. Sometimes. Whereas Tae has no control over who he becomes.
After a lifetime of analysing me and Tae, the door creaked open. It was hard to see who my opponents were because they all had masks on. There were five in total and by the looks of things they were all men. They were being brought to the boxing ring by Suga.
'Oh Suga it's you. You here to watch the show or do you wanna be part of the cast?' I said smiling evilly.
Have you forgotten he was the one electrocuting me with Tae? I'll never forgive him for that. Never.
'No Han Ma-Ria, I'm just bring in the boys.' He replied bluntly.
Suga lined up the five boys on the other side of the ring, took the handcuffs off their hands and left. We're handcuffs really necessary? How dangerous can they be?
They took the masks off and revealed their faces. Scars and bruises plastered their faces like makeup but underneath all the torture, I could tell they just want to lead normal, basic lives. They must have had enough of Tae's torments by now. They all looked genuinely tired. The door creaked again and in walked the devil himself. Kim Taehyung.
'Okay hun, these are your opponents. You don't need to know their names; they don't deserve identities after their disgusting pasts. But you boys on the other hand, meet Han Ma-Ria.' He said with a smug look on his face.
They all bowed but never said a word. Why won't they speak? Maybe they're too scared to talk after going through Tae's punishments.
'Hello guys. I'm sorry you have to do this. It's a waste of time because I already know who's going to win.' I said bravely as I looked back at Tae who sat there smirking at my comment.
One of the guys sunk his head trying to hide a laugh. It made me so angry inside. I wanted to kill him but I remembered what Tae had said earlier "they don't deserve identities". I couldn't kill him but I could make him wish he were dead.
I turned around to face Tae and said:
'Tae can I start now, I have the sudden urge to beat the crap out of that one.' I pointed over to the boy who laughed at me and he immediately rose his head in shock.
'Sure you can hun, don't be so sure of yourself though.' He remarked.
I ignored his comment kind of annoyed he had no faith in me.
'I'll just have to prove him wrong.' I thought to myself.
I slowly walked over to the boy who laughed at me and his other members backed away out of the ring waiting for their turn. I cupped his head in my hands and looked him in the eye.
'Listen here baby boy, you can smirk and laugh at me all you want but let me promise you something. When I am finished with you, you're going to regret every sin you ever committed. That's a promise.' I said sweetly.
He gulped in intimidation.
With my hands still on his cheeks I unexpectedly kneed him in the belly causing him to groan in pain. Without a break, I kicked him in his knee bending it the wrong way and then punched him in his jaw. He was unsteady but tried to throw at punch at me. I grabbed his hand and bent his arm backwards and punched him again on the other side of his face.
I then quickly punched him in his belly stopping him for being able to fight back. He was wounded and fell to his knees.
That was simply to easy.
'You're out that quick?' I asked devilishly.
He coughed in return and dropped his head. I held him by his hair and dragged his head back up to face me. I poked him in his eyes and punched him again. Out of no where, he pulls me onto of him so I'm now straddling his defeated body. Tae sits up in his seat almost irritated by the sight.
'Look Ria, you're too strong for me and my guys I know that now. I'm sorry for laughing but please don't hurt my boys. We're murderers but we have learnt our lesson. Look over at Tae in a second, he has some sort of attachment to you and seeing you on top of me is annoying him. The only way to make him go back to his normal self is through you. He cares about you in his own twisted way.' He whispered.
I looked over at Tae and the boy was right. Tae was glaring at us with jealousy in his eyes. It took a while for me to understand what the boy was getting at but it finally clicked. I have to make Tae really jealous which would force him to realise his feelings for me. I looked at the broken boy in front of me and sighed in guilt looking at the damage I caused him.
'I'm sorry for hurting you I just got so ang-'
'No it's okay, I get it but listen carefully, before I came here I was a player who broke every girls heart. Tae knows this so my next move would be expected from me. I'm sorry for what I'm about to do, both things I'm about to do but it's the only way.'
Before I could even respond, he painfully sat up and smashed his lips against mine. I was shocked but I thought I knew where he was taking this. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he held my waist. After a few seconds he reached to grab something from his pocket without breaking the kiss. A knife. It was a knife. A small pocket knife that every gang member owns. He broke the kiss and looked me in the eyes.
'I'm sorry.' He whispered.
He kissed me again but at the same time he violently stabbed me in the side. I guess I never knew his plan after all. I gasped but not in pain, in fear of death. My blood streamed out of me like a river non stop.
Tae flew out of his seat and jumped into the boxing ring. He immediately punched the boy out of his way knocking him out completely. He held me in his embrace and guilt filled his eyes to the brim.
'No... NO! Ria no!' He screamed.
Suga came running in and froze in shock.
Tears rolled down Tae's checks as he held my wound in one hand and my check in the other. He was back to his normal self. Suga broke out of his shock and ran to probably get some bandages.
'T-Tae you're y-you again.' I stuttered while letting out a weak smile.
'Ria listen to me, I don't know why I'm so scared to loose you right now. I've never felt this kind of fear. Whatever you do, don't close your eyes. I need to know why I feel this way about you.' He said with pure fear in his voice.
'I'm s-sorry Tae.' I pushed out.
I felt so weak. I could hardly see I felt bad for leaving Tae with his feelings unanswered but I was really struggling. I felt like my life and energy was pouring out me along with my blood. They say hearing is the humans last sense.I closed my eyes and all I heard was broken sobs and one heartfelt sentence
'I- I think I love you Ria.'
