To keep the families close, grandfather Lu and grandmother Ann convince their grandchildren to get married. Mark is a typical playboy; rude, arrogant, and thinks of himself above all. Amber is the most average girl he could ever meet. No looks and no life. His type is Rose. the beauty that had captures his heart since the first day at university. Or is it just a cover up to hide something deep in his heart? 

Now three years has passed since Mark and Amber got into this hell called marriage. He is still the same and that makes Amber more distant from him daily. In the eyes of the world the are the most loving couple but behind closed door, the story is totally different. 

Its been a month since grandfather Lu died and grandmother Ann is determined to get herself a great grandchild. The time couldn't be more wrong for Amber and more right for Mark because Rose is coming from America.

Will the couple survive? what will grandmother Ann do? What should Amber do? And how will Mark handle everything? Will he choose his own happiness over a promise?

convenient wife

Mark cried for a whole week not eating anything. "You sent my wife away" he would sob. His condition deteriorated to the level that he suffered a high fever.


"Kids get attached  easily" Dr. Dan, their family doctor told Grandpa Lu "distract him for the time being and he will forget it and will be alright again." 


"Thank you Doctor". Dr. Dan was seen to the gate.


Their housekeeper brought a tray of soup for Mark "Mickey, drink this and I'll play with you later" she tried. Her concern obvious. But he refused to budge. 


Grandpa Lu saw this signaled the housekeeper to leave. She abided quickly leaving grandfather and grandson alone. "What happened?" he asked Mark in a low voice. GrandpaLu was a round man with the most humble voice. The fact that he was the third generation business tycoon didn't changed his nature at all. They were in construction business which meant he had to keep good relations with all the important personalities. 


"Amber is gone" the child pleaded "please call her back. I miss her". "I miss her too my child" Grandpa comforted him. How about this you study hard and apply to study abroad. And when you are both 24, I'll marry you. Till then you can talk to her on phone or video call her. That way you can see her and you won't miss her anymore" 


This made Mark very happy and he started to study passionately. Grandpa Lu was observing everything and thats when he decided he would marry them. 


Time flew by. Months became years. they kept on talking to each other on phone for two years but then they lost contact. Amber stopped picking up his calls. She became shy and distant. Aunt June said it was because she was growing up. 


Mark didn't understood what it meant. Afterall, he was growing up too.
