It is said that girls change after they get their periods. Some become shy and reserved, or rude and defensive, some become more cautious and some sees it as a ticket to adulthood where they can do anything because they are grown up now.


Amber's got her first period at the age of 12. She was in school and was having stomach pains for a week now. Her mother took her to a doctor who game her some vitamins and calcium medicines and told her she was all right.


It was there PE class and everyone was practicing dribbling with the ball when Hannah screamed "Aaaaaahhhh your skirt is all red."


"Hah looks like an idiot came unprepared" Alison mocked " next time wear your diaper Amber!" The whole gym was filled with mocking laughter. "Lets call her 'red' " Zack declared. "Red, red, red" the whole gym started with an uproar.


Rebecca gave Amber her gym jacket "here come lets go". The PE teacher noticed the commotion and whistled loudly "Quit it" he shouted and came towards the benches where Amber was standing with a jacket covering her back "Ah... you are excused Amber. Go to the nurse's office and take some warm water. I'll write you a pass. And don't worry about any of this" he turned around " 5 laps all of you" he shouted.


Amber smiled at Mr. Andrew and along with Rebecca left the gym. Mr. Andrew was the most perfect man; Amber's first crush. Mr. Andrew always kept a straight face. But every teacher and every girl who could develop a crush had a crush on him. He was known as the Steven R. McQueen of the school.
