To keep the families close, grandfather Lu and grandmother Ann convince their grandchildren to get married. Mark is a typical playboy; rude, arrogant, and thinks of himself above all. Amber is the most average girl he could ever meet. No looks and no life. His type is Rose. the beauty that had captures his heart since the first day at university. Or is it just a cover up to hide something deep in his heart? 

Now three years has passed since Mark and Amber got into this hell called marriage. He is still the same and that makes Amber more distant from him daily. In the eyes of the world the are the most loving couple but behind closed door, the story is totally different. 

Its been a month since grandfather Lu died and grandmother Ann is determined to get herself a great grandchild. The time couldn't be more wrong for Amber and more right for Mark because Rose is coming from America.

Will the couple survive? what will grandmother Ann do? What should Amber do? And how will Mark handle everything? Will he choose his own happiness over a promise?

Rebecca left after giving aunt June a hug "I'll pick you tomorrow." she reminded Amber who nodded in return. Hearing this Mark became very quiet. His pupil dilated a little giving his eyes a foxy look. "Mark you can join us too" she tried her luck again but he denied her politely by a "Thanks I'll take the bus". 


Dinner was a quiet event. Uncle Lu and aunt June tried to lighten the mood by talking about their university tomorrow. Mark and Amber were under school of architecture while Rebecca was under shool of arts with fine arts as her major. Amber chipped in a few times but Mark remained silent throughout the dinner. He excused himself early and went to his room. 


Back in his room, his mood was still dark. Thousands of thoughts running through his mind. Those freckles around her nose, those big bright eyes....


Why didn't she talked to me or asked me how was I?


Did she went on that workshop on purpose to avoid me? 


We met after 8 years and she didn't even showed any excitement! she agreed to go to the university with her friend? with her friend!!! 


I'm here, we both have same major, same university, our basic courses would be same, why wouldn't she discuss anything with me?


How can she forget about it? Am i overreacting?'


Mark was getting frustrated with his own thoughts. He was so excited. He has anticipated this moment for so long but the reaction he expected from Amber was not even close. He was the same, why did she changed? she has gotten quieter. Her Amber curls were still the same, like a wild fire giving warmth in winter. They seem so smooth. He wanted to touch them so badly. But she wouldn't even look at him.
