Chapter 6

"Are you Sky?" She asks.

He nods and smiles softly. He seems so nice.

"Why are you here?"She asked.

"Because this is my home." He responded.

"No I mean why are you here in the world of the living? Shouldn't you be in the spirit world? "

He shook his head. "I can't rest in peace.."

"Why not?"

"I still wanted to see my mother, but I can't... My spirit is attached to this house and I don't know how to stop it."

Rose examined him and saw that there were chains coming out of his back. "What are these chains for?" She asks.

"It's what keeps a spirit attached to a certain place that they value precious. They're unbreakable as far as I know." He responded.

A spark went flashed through Roses eyes " Unbreakable? "

Sky nodded "It's because I still want to talk to my parents. I can't rest peacefully if I don't. "

" But how can you talk to your parents if you're dead? "

" That's the thing, I don't know. "

As Rose and Sky talked, Kai was silent and watered the Roses.

"What exactly do you want with your parents?" Rose asked.

Sky looked up at the sky and thought for a moment. "I want... to tell them that it's not their fault that I got sick, they blamed themselves till the day I died.." His voice was so low that it sounded like he was whispering.

"I guess even ghosts can feel sad.."

Rose placed her hand on Sky's shoulder and smiled brightly. "Don't worry! I'll make sure that your parents get your message! "

His sad expression went away, being replaced with a slight smile. "Thank you Rose."

She nods and hugs him. He hugged back then disappeared.

Kai saw that the Roses closed again, meaning his presence was gone and looked over at his sister. "What did he say?"

"He wants to tell his parents that his disease wasn't his fault and I'm gonna make sure they get that message! But I'm gonna need your help. "

" My help..? " He pointed at himself.

" Yes, you know his parents, right?You could get in contact with them and invite them over, and that's when Sky can tell his parents his true feelings, okay? " Kai nodded.

" I'm not sure if they'll listen to us though. "

" Don't worry about that, I'll try to do my best. " She reassures him.

" Here's their address." He showed her the address on his phone.

" Perfect. " The two started to wall to the given destination, a little worried.
