General Narbeth was not prepared for the arrival of King Thallan's men. The night he got the message, he panicked. Having just taken Mikaela's potion, his body was achy and tired. His mind wasn't were it should have been. Yet, after getting Mikaela's reply, his mind had already returned to him and he noticed he body was also back to normal.

Following Mikaela's suggestion, Narbeth alerted his men of the King's message before the group's arrival.

Taking precautionary measures, he ordered his men to move the barrels of honey they gotten from Crystal City to the granary. He didn't want to take any chances that the group would find it and alert the king.

A week after getting the Thallan's message did Lady Jaelah and the royal guards arrive.

General Narbeth didn't care much for Lady Jaelah, he was much more concern about the two hundred royal guards behind her.
