Something in the Air

Iolas has never been so close to achieving anything before. He always knew that as the second son of General Pho and his head maid. He will never be able to succeed his father as General nor be clan leader, especially not with Lady Sionia and her puppet of a son around.

However, for the first time he wanted to have something of his own. His father has been using him as his personal soldier and servant ever since he could hold a sword, and it has got him nowhere. He and his mother were still treated like crap in the clan.

He didn't even get his own place or a room in the imperial palace after his father became King. Only allowed to come into the palace whenever his father calls for him, it was on one of those calls he that made the best decision of his life.

While his brother was blind to see all that he has as he follows every order his mother gives him.
