"Do you have any order boss?" Assistant Chen asked, as soon as he went inside his boss's office when he was called to get in.

"Find out about who Mr Qu met after his meeting with us"

"Yes boss"

"Also look for the CCTV fotages of his meeting"

"Yes boss"

"Mommy! Uncle brought me a bicycle and play with me in garden" little Tianze excitedly told her everything he did with his uncle in every detail. When she came back he saw her child sweating from playing to much.

His older cousin-brother Lin Min who was on travel business went home straight when he heard his sister and nephew are home. He was a bit disappointed when  no one told him, not even his own parents.

"Little Tianze why are you only calling him Unlce and me old Aunty. His also older than your Mom and me" Wanwan who's listening on the other side heard her nephew's biased treatment. This nephew of her is a total biased.

"Uncle is handsome and nice" little Tianze said while munching the fruits his Mommy feed him.

"Hmmp! I am also very beautiful and nice why are you calling me old Aunt?" she harbors bad feelings because of the word 'old' when clearly they share the same age, she's just months older than Lin Ling how can she be that old. Where's her brother is way older than them. She shook her head thinking about this.

"Uncle bought me a bicycle"

"I can buy you one too"

"He bought first. You're too late. Being forgetful is also a sign of being old that's what grandma said" how she suddenly become forgetful when she didn't know he wants a bicycle. Wanwan glare at the smiling brat. This is clearly so blakening. In few years she will diffinately transform into an old lady for confronting this little brat.

Lin Ling giggles watching this never-ending-chuldish-show.

"Here eat this. Why are you even arguing with Tianze when clearly you won't win" Lin Ling throw an apple to Wanwan and the later catch it and took a frustrating big bite. "...and you. Why are making fun if your Aunt she's your elder"

"She started it first" the pouting little Tianze pointed her Aunt Wanwan.

"Tianze come here" seeing his Uncle. Tianze jump off and run towards his Uncle Min.

Looking at this interaction Wanwan felt sorry for her son. She knows at his age his looking for a father figure, if only his dad acknowledged him.

"Ling'er Dad's calling you to his study"  She was brushed off to present when she heard her brother.

"Alright. Look after Tianze for me brother"

"Go ahead"

She went upstairs and knock on her Dad's study room "Dad you're calling for me?"

"Come in Ling'er" she saw her Dad took off his glasses and offer her a seat.

"Is there a problem Dad?" She took a seat and asked directly.

Mr Lin sighed "Is your Mom

fine?"

She looked at her Dad's worried face and smie "She is" When  her Dad asked her that question she knows he was referring to her real Mom, his twin Sister.

Mr. Lin and Ms. Lin is actually her Aunt and Uncle. Wanwan and Min are her cousins. She was adopted by them when she graduated high school and treated her like their own fleash.

"That's good to hear"

"If you want we can video call her. She'll be happy to hear from you"

"No need. It's fine that she's alive" dispite knowing his sister is alive Mr. Lin didn't visit her after all these years. Maybe he's disappointed with her. Who wouldn't be? She left her child under the care of other man and pretended she met a mishap and left them grieving when clearly she's alive and breathing. She's a disappointment.

"Is there anything else Dad?"

Mr. Lin hesitated for a moment before telling her "actually there's something else"

"What is it?" She asked curiously.

"Your Dad's sick" Mr. Lin look at her reaction and as expected she's not happy.

"I don't think it's my business to know" she said and stood up ready to leave.

"Lin Ling sit down"

"If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave" she made a promise to herself from that day that she will never look for him ever.

Wang Guan, the Man she thought was her real father. The Man she loved and treated him her father. The Man she seek validation and love for all of her life. The Man who gave her the necessity and comfort in life. Who send her under the care of others just because he found a new family.

"He wanted to see you for the last time" Mr. Lin finally said it.

Lin Ling stood stiff for a while. Mr. Lin took his daughter to sit who's holding now her tears. Despite knowing he wasn't her real father, the love she had for him was real and she treated him like a real father even after all this years. This fact won't change. She knwe it herself.

"Listen to me Ling'er. What he did years ago was for your own good. He maybe hard on you but one thing for sure he had you in his heart like a real daughter"

Lin Ling sneered for what she heard "Really?" She asked sarcastically.

Mr. Lin find it hard to explain to her and sighed. "Listen to me okay?"

Lin Ling didn't answer and stay silently sitted.

Mr. Lin started the long story "When your Mom was pregnant of you, your bastard Dad left her---"

"I know this already Mom told me" Lin Ling cut him off.

Mr. Lin sigh "Maybe it's better if you hear it from Wang Guan himself" Mr. Lin picked a piece of paper wrote down the hospital address where Wang Guan is confined his room number. "...here visit him. I'm not asking you. I'm ordering you"

Lin Ling pouted and glare at the piece of paper in her hand.

"I know you won't go so let me tell you this" Mr. Lin sighed before he said "...what happened during your graduation was all planed and I agreed with it. So you can say I'm accountable as well so don't be mad only to him" He patted her hair before leaving her inside the study room.

Looking at the piece of paper Mr. Lin gave her, she went of the study room.

"Grandpa where's Mommy?" Little Tianze asked Mr. Lin when he saw him without his Mommy.

"Let's eat first your Mommy is doing something" Mr. Lin urge them to dig in.

Little Tianze look at him suspiciously "Grandpa you're lying. Did you do something to Mommy?"

Mr. Lin sighed helplessly "How can you say that to your Grandpa little Tianze"

"You're clearly lying" little Tiaze shrug him off and started digging his food.
