I don’t know how to thank you

Cathy sat beside her and pat her back. "What are your plans?

"Just continue with my life and as much as possible avoid him."

"I wish you good luck. Mizzy is planning to watch a movie later she is on her way. It's better if you join us."

"Fine. I will."

"President Lee, here are the reports for today. You also have a dinner meeting tonight at seven. HR also informed that the final interview for the Senior Planning Manager will happen Monday next week."

"Hmm. Anything else?"

"Chairman Lee called. He asks you to return his call ASAP." Then he left the room.

President lee took his phone and saw missed calls from his grandfather. He returned his call.

"Grandpa, how are you? Why did you call?" he worriedly asked

"I'm doing fine. I call you to inform you that I'm planning a surprise birthday party for your sister next week. You have to be there."

"I will" he assured the old man.

"I know your busy. I'm hanging up now."

After their conversation he called Mr. Kim

"Buy me a birthday gift for Rebecca and clear my schedule next Friday night."

Mr. Kim nodded and left.

The next morning Sammie woke up early, she plans to go home to her parent's house. Their house is in the Spring Homes Villa located in Metro's east part. when she arrives her parents were in the living room.

"Hello Sammie, I missed you my darling. How are you? Are you eating properly? You look so thin." Her mom caressed her checks with a concerned look.

"I'm fine mom. I have a huge appetite." She then hugged her mom.

"How's your trip in Singapore?" his father curiously asked.

"It's wonderful experience. I enjoy watching the race. Next time I'll bring Ethan with me. He also loves car racing. By the way is he still in school?"

"Yes, he is increasingly busier now. We barely see him home." her mother start complaining.

"Mom, he serious with his studies now and I think it a good start." Then she leans her head on her mom's shoulder.

"That's my only consolation. Did have you had breakfast? I can ask them to make you one.

"Yes, I'm full. I have a free time today so I came you visit."

"I have a meeting today. I'll be home late. You two catch up. I'm leaving now." His father then stands up gives her mother goodbye kiss then head out.

"Come with me if you are free today. I'll attend the Homeowners meeting at the club house this afternoon."

"I will. I'll just rest in my room first." Then Sammie climbed up the stair straight to her old room.

In the Spring Homes Villa Clubhouse

Sammie and her mother arrived early and only few homeowners were inside the function room. Her mom saw her friend while she excused herself and head to the pool area. She sat on one of the bench and rest.

"Grandpa, let's head inside. The weather is hot." It's Rebecca persuading her grandfather to head inside the air-conditioned function room.

"You go first I'll follow you there. I'll just make a quick call." The call is regarding her surprise party so he purposely wants to be alone.

"Grandpa just be quick." She then enters the function room.

While on the phone "I understand. Ensure everything ready." Then he ended the call. On his way to the function room he suddenly stops. He felt pain and pressure in the left side of his chest. Then followed by shortness of breath. He suddenly fell on the lawn while pounding his chest. Sammie is just a few meters away so when he saw an old man fell she rushed to check on him.

"Sir, are you fine? What happened?" she observed him and realized he is having a heart attack she calm him down and started yelling for help." Help, somebody help us!" she took her phone out and called the village emergency unit.

"Hello, we have someone having a heart attack we're in club house. Please hurry." She ended the call after they acknowledge her.

"Sir, do you have medicine?" She started checking his pockets when the old man nodded. She found a small medicine box, she took the pill and have him chew it. Then she continues crying for help.

The security personnel spotted them and checked the situation. She told him that she already called for help and needs the old man's companion. The security personnel recognize the old man and immediately head inside the function room to inform Rebecca.

"Ma'am, Mr. Lee is outside he is having a heart attack. Help is on its way. Please come with me." The people on the room also step outside.

The village emergency unit were on the scene when they arrived.

"Sir, thank you for helping my Grandfather." She started crying.

"Ma'am to help those in need our obligation. You should thank this lady here. Your grandfather will be in a more serious state if not for her call and immediate response." Pointing to Sammie.

Rebecca walks towards Sammie then holds her hand. "I don't know how to thank you enough, you saved my grandfather's live." Still crying

"No need to thank me, I just made the wisest decision."

"Still, we should thank you. I'm Rebecca Lee. What's your name?"

"Samantha Saavedra."

"Samantha, I will properly thank you next time." She smiled and then step inside the rescue vehicle.

In the hospital ICU

Grandpa Ben's condition is already stable but still under observation. Rebecca steps outside and called his brother to report their grandfather's situation.

"Hello Becca, are you crying? What happened?" He anxiously asked her sister.

"Grandpa Ben is in the hospital. He had a heart attack. Please come here now." She responds while weeping.

"Wait for me, I'm on my way." He ended the call and quickly step outside his office.

"Mr. Kim, to the hospital" He instructed his assistant as he stride to the elevator. Mr. Kim then followed him nervously.

When they arrived at the hospital Grandpa Ben is sleeping, beside him is Rebecca seating on the chair. When She saw his brother she runs towards him and hugged him.

"Grandpa, had a heart attack this afternoon when we're in the clubhouse. Luckily, someone help him just in time. I'm sorry I couldn't take care of him properly." she explained while crying.

He tried to comfort his sister while patting his back. "shhh. It's not your fault. It's an accidental."

Rebecca calmed down when the doctor enters the unit to check on his Grandfather.
