The Piano Key (Key of C Minor)
Kariza snorted and smirked. "Talk about the team of losers." Her crew laughed behind. "Fancy meeting you in a place where you don't belong."
Dylan who has been frowning when he saw her eased up. "Better watch your words, Kariza. We don't want you (1)swallowing your own vomit." Her friends laughed a little louder behind her. She silenced them by staring angrily at them. Even Luna tried to hide her amusement. Kariza caught her trying to pretend not to laugh.
"Oh, I see," she raised a brow at her. "So you finally have something to boast about." She walked closer. Luna tensed and tightened her grip on Dylan's arm. Dylan tried to block Kariza from her and touched Luna's hand to assure her that it's going to be alright. Kariza stood face to face before him.
"Playing the hero, eh, Dylan? After getting slapped and kicked out, you still stuck with this loser? You have completely degraded yourself. What a waste of your talent." Then her mocking gaze shifted to Luna. She leaned down slightly and squinted at her. "Whatever you have, you will never beat me."
Luna swallowed nervously and looked worriedly at Dylan. Dylan just smiled at her. Seeing him smile, her furrowed brows eased up and she smiled at Kariza, "We'll see about that tomorrow."
Kariza frowned, clearly annoyed at her confidence. She stood up straight and gestured for her friends that they're going to leave. "Whatever. I'm sure that you're going to be the star of the show tomorrow with your laughable and stupid stunts. I'm looking forward to the comical performance of the loser duo." She walked away laughing, her friends trailing behind and laughing after her.
Dylan turned to Luna. "I'm sure you're going to be a star tomorrow." He smiled at her. Luna blushed and felt embarassed.
"Now you're praising me too much," she said and they both chuckled as they continued walking to her house.
SUN day. The Season of Talents Day.
Fairies and little bugs from across the kingdoms are gathered under the Great Tree to watch the declaration of gifts of the little bugs in Forest Sound. Known for the nest of musical talents, many enjoyed the performance of little bugs in their dazzling and glamorous costumes.
After Kariza and her team have performed, next were Dylan and Luna. Many were awestruck by Kariza's team performance and they receive a roar of applause and praises. As Dylan and Luna walked up the stage, they passed by Kariza who paused and looked smugly at Luna. "Try beating that," she said then she flipped her hair and continued descending.
Luna looked worried as she gazed at Kariza and her team who were passing by with head raised and smug looks. She was terribly shaking with nervousness, having to perform before a large crowd and with Kariza looking down on her, that she almost stumbled on the stairs. Dylan caught her and took her hand. It was ice-cold and trembling. He wrapped his hands around hers to warm it. She look at him, her brows furrowed and eyes watery. Dylan smiled.
