Su Jun stopped running as he reached the house area and turned his head back, 'They are not chasing me… Hu Yun, Kang Wu, Geng Xia, I thought they were my predecessor's friends but to think they would forbid me to talk to Yi Ya just because I declined to fight all three of them and even attack me when I said goodbye to her… For someone who constantly said that we are not kids anymore, Hu Yun sure acts like one…' He looked up into the orange sky and mumbled, "I tried to keep your relationships alive Su Jun but Hu Yun, Kang Wu and Geng Xia made their intentions of not wanting me to be their friend perfectly clear… There is still hope of keeping your relationship with Yi Ya alive."
Su Jun walked into his room and laid down on the bed on his back, 'I got 1000 system points from defeating Geng Xia. I can't upgrade my cultivation skill as it was 2000 points to upgrade but I most likely can buy some skill… But thinking about it, I shouldn't. The elder will give me martial skills tomorrow… I don't feel tired but I still should get some sleep.' He closed his eyes but then he appeared in his system space.
Su Jun frowned, 'How am I supposed to sleep now that when I close my eyes while laying down, it brings me here?' He sighed, 'Now that I am here might as well log in into the system.' He walked up and sat down at the table. On the screen, there was only a single button
The main menu of the system opened, 'Nothing new.' He looked over the buttons and a glint of curiosity flashed through his eyes. He clicked
'I will just take a look and not going to buy anything.' Su Jun clicked
'Not going to get any one of these skills in a very long time.' Su Jun returned back to rank selection window and this time he clicked on the lowest rank –
On the top of the window, Su Jun spotted a search box with filter buttons and he moved his eyes to them. 'Is there a filter that shows only affordable skills?'He looked over all the filters and he managed to find it. Clicking on it, only three skills appeared on his screen and they were all exactly 1,000 points.
Su Jun's eyes locked on
'There are requirements for buying skills? Well, it doesn't seem like there is one now.' Su Jun clicked the button
Su Jun returned back a few times and clicked on the button
'Hmm, so it has 3 ranks. What about that body strengthening skill.' Su Jun pressed back and then pressed on
skill.'This skill needs ten times more experience to reach the first level than
Su Jun was no longer in front of the computer, he was now staring at the ceiling. He blinked his eyes and then yawn came out of his mouth and he mumbled, "I suddenly feel tired. It seems I have to sleep just like I have to eat." He rolled to his side, closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep.
The night quickly passed and the morning came, Su Jun's eyes opened and he was greeted with the view of the wall, a message floated up in his head.
Su Jun sat up on the bed and yawned. 'The elder should contact me at noon, I have time until then.' He closed his eyes and focused on his cultivation skill; messages of <+1> started floating up in his head. Seven hours passed and a few messages floated up in his head.
Su Jun's eyebrows furrowed and he opened his eyes, 'Bottleneck! The elder said that at these times a cultivator has to use his Qi to unblock them. But it seems my case is a little different'
Su Jun closed his eyes and focused on the newly acquired skill. He felt a stand of Qi leaving his dantian and moving along his meridians but then taking a sudden sharp turn and ramming into something.
A few minutes passed and a message floated up in Su Jun's head,
Su Jun retrieved the transmission jade from his clothes, "I am coming out, elder."
"What's wrong Su Jun, you sound out of breath."
"I am fine, elder. I am coming out."
"Alright."
Su Jun inserted the jade back into his clothes, took a moment to regulate his breathing then jumped off his bed and walked outside. When he stepped outside, the elder who was standing not too far away, widened his eyes in shock and he mumbled, "He is a rank 3 martial mortal?"
Su Jun approached the shocked elder and gave a bow, "Hello, elder."
The elder absentmindedly nodded, "Yeah."
