Yan Ran looked up in the mirror. Just moments ago, she was certain that her life had ended. But this body was not hers, nor was the room she was in. In fact, the girl in the mirror was adorned in a deep navy dress that glittered with stars, and most importantly, Yan Ran could not feel her legs. She was sitting in a wheelchair.

But Yan Ran recognised this girl. It was the mute who days ago, had signed to her 'help me', in passing.
