Ruan Yuchen shook off the thought that she could have read his mind, instead he blamed it on something else.

The highly sensitive ears of Marya Zaleska could pick up the slightest of sound, but could also adjust the pitch as she wanted. What could have sounded very deafening came across as a dull noise.

Without moving a single muscle on her face, she spoke to the man that resurrected her from her deep slumber.
