Chapter 2

*Occult Research Club room*

Hikaru who was forced to come with these group of people, was lead into an old school building as they entered a room, there was a chair behind a desk, at the front. Two couches and and a table between those couches, that were below the desk but there was still empty space. "Well then Rias, i'll let you talk to him for now. But do remember to send him my way when you're done." The glasses wearing lady says before she and her group leave. Leaving him with the four people, "Please have a seat" the red haired woman says as she points to the left couch, before going to sit on the chair behind the desk. Which I decide to sit down and when I sat down 'Damn these are some comfy chairs, much better than putting fur on top of a chair' as I secretly enjoy the feeling.

"Akeno, can you bring us some tea?" the red haired woman asks, which the black haired woman, that Hikaru now knows as Akeno, goes into a different room to bring tea. The other two members the blond haired male and white haired looking child, sat down on the right couch as they just start doing their own business.

"So, who are you?" the red haired woman asks, "Isn't it rude not to introduce yourself first, when asking another's identity?" I state while raising my eyebrow while looking at her.

"That's true, i'm Rias Gremory, the blonde haired boy is Kiba, the white haired girl is Koneko, and the one that went to get tea is Akeno." Rias says, as I look towards Kiba and Koneko, to which Kiba nods, and Koneko just pulls out some candy and started eating.

"Fair enough, i'm Kido Hikaru" I said to which Rias asks "So Kido-kun, why were you fighting that monster?" to which I reply "Gremory-san, I could be asking you why were you watching me and also happened to be there, as i'd like to think normal people unless they're insane would go towards the monster?"

"Please just call me Rias, and aren't you basically implying you yourself are insane? Because we saw you fighting the monster" She says to which Kiba nods and Koneko continues eating her snacks.

"Well, you see I was just trying to help this kid out, he was trying to save those girls, from being attacked by a Grongi member" I said, to which Rias raises her brow up.

"Grongi?" She questions, "Yes, Grongi that's what they're called" I said, "But how do you know what they're called?" she asks.

"I guess you could say, my family has had some encounters with them before." I said. "Your family?" she asks to which I nod and say "More like my ancestors, that have passed down the information about them"

"You must come have an ancient bloodline then, if you have information about these monsters that no textbook or person knows about?" she asks, "Well, you could probably call me a hermit about Grongi", 'technically i'm not lying about being a hermit, after all i'm older than the oldest person in her family'

"I see... Can I ask you why did you call us magic people?" she asks, as I was about to respond Akeno comes back with a tea tray with tea as she hands us all a cup of tea, I thank her to which she nods, as I pick up the tea and take a sip "Wow, this is pretty good" as I slowly prevent myself from answering that question. "Ara Ara, trying to flatter me I see" she teases me as her right hand is on her cheek, as she's tilting her head with her eyes closed.

I could feel my eyes twitch by her playfulness 'Oh Daguva, this person is something special' I thought to myself. Deciding to tease her back I reply "Well, the tea wouldn't be as good, if I wasn't near someone as beautiful as you" as I send her a little smirk.

She notices this and has a faint blush to which I notice. "Ahem" getting my attention once more "Sorry, I just couldn't resist" I said apologising.

"it's fine" Rias says "Do you have any more information about the Grongi?" She asks "There's 200 of them and the leader is in his imperfect form, and he's a stag-beetle lord "

"Stag-beetle? Is he red?" Rias asks "No, that's the ancestor of humanity who was tasked with defeating the Grongi, whose from the Linto tribe." I said

"Wait it's human?" she asks "technically Grongi are also human, they just transform" I said.

"So they're humans that transform into these monsters" she asks "Yes, you shouldn't fight against the red stag-beetle." I said

"But we don't know what it wants" Rias says, "The red stag-beetle just wants to protect humanity from the Grongi, also the red stag-beetle has a name. Its name is Kuuga."

"Do you know how we can talk with Kuuga?" Rias asks. "No, he'll only appear when Grongi show up." I said.

"By the way, what do I have to do to get into this academy? I'd prefer if you didn't ask why." I said "For the information you've given me I guess I won't ask" Rias says "Thank you." I said.

"Well then thank you very much for sharing your information" Rias says, "You're welcome" I say as I get up as I head to the door I suddenly remember "Do you have anywhere I could possibly stay?" I ask since I'm still homeless after all

"Hmm," as she's about to reply Akeno says "He can stay with me at the shrine, I need some help around the place." When I heard Akeno say that I could feel my left eye twitch twice as I thought 'This woman' as I turn to face her, I just see her smiling at me while I felt a few chills go down my spine from that smile.

"Thanks" I tell Akeno, "I'll come get you after your meeting with Sona" I nod and leave the Club room for them to think over what they just heard.

"Akeno, keep an eye on him. I think he could be a potential sacred gear user" Rias says as Akeno nods.

Arriving at the student council room, I knock three times and wait until I hear "Enter" to which I entered.

(Basically just talks about what he said with Rias, then talks about school and stuff and played a few games of chess, which he loses, but he gets better. Both Rias and Sona think he probably has a sacred gear)

Leaving the student council room, I see Akeno waiting for me "Ready to go?" she asks, to which I nod and follow after her.

*Elsewhere*

You can see this really pale man wearing a black hat with black robes, covering up every inch of his body. But next to him you can see Zu-Gumun-Ba, this black robed person talks to Zu-Gumun-Ba in their language "You better hurry up and start your next hunt, otherwise you'll lose all your kills to rank up and have to restart again." he says, "Shut up, don't talk like you're doing any better. The church you took as territory is also housing those fallen angels." Zu-Gumun-Ba says, "kekeke, maybe but they're quite fun, these fallen angels, we even have this deal i'd help with capturing sacred gear users, and they would help me capture people during the day" the black robed man says.

"Don't think you'll be able to get those kills counted Zu-Gooma-Gu" Zu-Gumun-Ba says. "Yes, but i'll get enough blood to strengthen myself against more supernatural beings and Kuuga, once they appear, kekekekeke" as he laughs eerily.

"Don't even think about it, i'll be the one to kill Kuuga" Zu-Gumun-Ba says as it crawls away to find the next prey. Zu-Gooma-Gu watches as Zu-Gumun-Ba disappears, before transforming and flies away. But out into the distance were four silhouettes watching them "Che, why are we working with these dirty shapeshifting youkai?" says a feminine voice.

"Well our next target happens to be another supposed sacred gear, we might as well get the help of these monsters during the day, instead of waiting at night, since they expose themselves during the day anyway. But anyway the next target is called Hyoudou Issei, he's apparently infamous for being a pervert. Seems like your up Raynare." says another feminine voice, as a sadistic smirk shows.

"Of course, i'll show him the best thrill he's ever had" says another feminine voice as she licks her lips before smirking even more sadistically than the last one.
