Chapter 1

A young wolf named Howleen went hunting in her enemy's territory without knowing. Howleen never noticed it until she was attacked. The trees swished softly above her head. She sees something in the bushes. She stops moving so her eyes could adjust to the darkness. It was some warriors from her enemy's pack. She starts to run but, she isn't fast enough to outrun them.

After she is caught she is taken to the alpha. She was scared of him for two reasons. One he was wild, vicious, and strong. And two he did something to her parents when she was very young. She would never forget that day. And this is how it happened. It was a nice peaceful and beautiful day in her pack's territory. Everybody was doing what we usually do on beautiful days. They were playing roughly and talking. Minding there business as usual. What they were not expecting was to be attacked by their enemy's unexpectedly. She was about 4 years old. Her younger sister 2 years old.

She was standing there when her father died with her sister behind some trees so no one would see them. After they left 25/45 were either killed or severely wounded trying to protect their pack. Ever since that day she has been training proper combat moves to get stronger and be prepared for anything. She has always been trying to get her revenge on them for what they did to her and her family. She has also been helping her younger sister. She and her younger sister were also adopted by the alpha of their pack.

After I was taken to the leader of my enemies, he gave me a warning. Turning my head to see another wolf not minding his business was looking at me. He had blond hair, green eyes, and tan skin. To be honest, I thought that he was cute. "Jake come here." Alpha Dagger called to the young werewolf.

"What now. I didn't do anything." Jake whined.

"You're not in trouble. I just want to ask you something. So stop whining." He told Jake in a manner I could tell that Jake hated. "If you want to hear what I have to say or do you have something else to do?" Alpha Dagger asked.

"I was going to ask if I could go for a walk. I could listen to what you have to say later." Jake said.

"You can go for a walk as long as you be careful. I'm all right with telling you later." His father said.

"Thanks your the best."he said running off on his own. A while later he saw me walking slowly on my way to my pack territory. He ran up to me and I started to run thinking that I was going to be attacked again.

"Wait, stop, I was only going to ask you something."Jake yelled out from behind me.

"How do I know if you're lying to me?" I asked as I slowed my pace and turned around to face him.

"Hi, I'm Jake the, alpha's son and the only one he has. And you are?" He said. I was beyond surprised when he asked me that.

"You're my enemy so why are you talking to me. Don't you know that? Cause I'm pretty sure that your father told you that." I said confused that one of my enemies was talking to me.

"I know that. You just seem like a really nice person.  And who are you? You're pretty cute."he said.

"Thanks. I'm Howleen. I'm the daughter of the alpha of my pack. You don't seem to be scared of me even though I'm your enemy."I said.

"I already told you, you seem like a really nice wolf. Do you have a mate yet?" He said.

" Why do you want to know that for?" I asked him confused. Right then I realized that he was asking to be mine.

"I think you already know by the expression on your face." he said.

" What expression? I'm not doing anything." I shouted by mistake.

"Shut up or we will get caught." he said.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that." I apologized.

"It's all right, but really keep your voice down or else we will get caught."He told me.

"No I don't it's just me, my mother, my younger sister, and my best friend Nelson."I replied.

"What about you do you have a mate?" I asked him.

"I don't either. It's just me and my two best friends Kayla and Mike." he replied.

"Surprising." I replied. "I should probably get going. I don't want to get caught.  Um, how about we meet at the cliff where no one ever bothers to go. That way we don't get caught talking to each other." I told him that was all I could think of and he seems kind of nice. It's not like he would sell me out on anything, right?

" Yea, that's a great idea." he replied to my question. "Bye." he said as I ran off.
