Infractuous

Abel felt that life had nothing left to offer him after the love of his life died.

He was once a thrill seeking man who traveled the world looking for something to ease his boredom, and he found that something, or someone.

But sadly, all good things must come to an end, and so did this.

Abel now sat at his mansion wishing and praying that he could meet her again, somehow.

"I wish we could be on the same planet again. So we could hug again, So we could laugh again, So we could be together again." Abel sighed in sorrow as he closed his eyes preparing to go to sleep.

Abel was stunned awake as a white light enveloped him blinding his vision.

The God System

Mary and Abel were currently fighting against two goblins, in order to complete the quest they were given.


The two goblins were holding wooden spears as they both tried to stab at Abel, who was using two iron swords he bought. He did not have enough DP for a very expensive sword, so he settled for the basics.


However, he made sure to also buy Mary some support magic skills, so she would be able to help him in the fights. 


The fight started with four goblins, but two of them were put to sleep by Mary's [Slumber Trance], which Abel then quickly eliminated. 


Abel was parrying the two goblins spears as he tried to get used to dual wielding. He was fairly decent with his right hand, but since he never trained to be ambidextrous in his previous life he was fairly weak on his right side, which the goblins noticed as they constantly targeted him there.


Goblins are not very smart creatures, but they do kill in order to stay alive so their battle sense is greater than normal people.


One of the spears slipped past the sword on his left hand stabbing him in the shoulder and he hissed in pain as he backed off a few steps.


Abel was depressed that he couldn't handle two goblins, which were some of the weakest monsters in any sort of game.


Mary quickly used [Magic・Small Recovery] on Abel, and then recast [Support Magic・Speed Reduction] on the goblins as it was wearing off.


Abel began to fight again once his wound started to heal up and he slashed at the goblins.


Abel sighed as Mary bandaged up his bound while they were sitting on top of a log after the fight was over. 


"I don't think I'm good enough to be a dual swordsman, I think I should just use one sword instead, as my left-handed skills are not up to standard," Abel said looking at the wounds on his left arm.


"Maybe you could buy a skill and that will help you out as you did for me" Mary offered.


|Yup! There is a skill called [Dual-Wielding・Saint], but it is quite expensive, so you probably can't purchase it, but the cheaper versions like [Dual-Wielding・Moderate] you may be able to purchase| Genesis told him.


"Yeah, I think we should do that because I am just not that prepared for dual-wielding. I have never tried it before today" Abel nodded


"Well for a first time you did a good job" Mary tried to cheer him up


|What do you mean a good job? He was wounded! The only reason you guys were able to kill the goblins was because you kept healing him!| Genesis immediately ruined Mary's attempt at trying to comfort Abel.


Mary wanted to glare at Genesis, to show her she was not helping, but Genesis did not have a body leaving Mary at a loss.


"Yeah you are right, but once I buy the skill, then I'll easily kill goblins," Abel said as he stood up patting the dirt off his clothes. "Let's go home, then try again tomorrow when I buy [Dual-Wielding・Moderate]" Abel said heading back towards Delphi.
