It had been 14 hrs after Sandriya was kidnapped.Back at her house,Mrs.Andrews,who was crying all night,became exhausted and she finally fell asleep.Jonathan covered her with a blanket and went to the living room and sat on the sofa with his hands supporting his head.His eyes had a blank expression.He didn't want to get the cops involved because who knows what the captors will do to her if they find out that he had filed a complaint and also he wanted to punish the criminals himself.He was going to show no mercy.

He had called Steve earlier.He said he will give a definite information in 1 hour.So he was waiting for Steve to call him.An hour was like an eternity to him.He kept on blaming himself for what had happened.If he had not become friends with her,then she would have been happy and she wouldn't have faced such an incident.It was all his fault,he thought.He didn't know where she was.All he could do was sit and hope nothing bad happened.

"If someone had harmed her in any way I am not gonna spare them"he vowed to himself.His eyes became bloodshot in anger.His hands balled into tight fists.

Exactly after an hour,his phone rang.He picked it up in the first ring.

"Tell me quick"he asked immediately

"Young master.The Car has left the city gates.The only possible place where they might kept Miss.Sandriya as captive is in an old abandoned construction site.I have already informed my men to surround the place.They will bring her back safe and sound"he informed.

"Change of plans.I wanna personally handle this matter.Ask your men to wait"

"But Mas-"

"Just do what I say"he ordered.

"Okay Master"Steve agreed.

Back at the construction site.

J.K made a call to his other men.

"Assemble in our regular meeting spot"he ordered.And in about 1 hour time all his men had arrived at the place.

"This time the young master of Steward family is not gonna escape.Once we have him,we can easily force his parents into giving their riches to me.But he is not easy to deal with.So once we have him,all of you must stand guard and make he doen't escape.Also I owe a great amount of gratitude to this young lady here."he said pointing to Sandriya who was still lying on the floor unconscious.Someone had done first aid for the cut in her hand and it was no longer bleeding.

Everyone in the room laughed mockingly.

"Now all I have to do is use her as a bait to lure him into my trap."he said with great criticism.

"Why waste time in planning to force me to come when I am already here" a voice sounded from the entrance of the room.

It was Jonathan."I am right before you."

Seeing Jonathan one of J.K's men ran towards Jonathan to attack him.But Steve acted fast and threw him to the floor.

"Not so fast.I agree to surrender on one condition"Jonathan said.

"And the condition is?"

"Let her go"Jonathan said.His untroubling voice immediately turned cold.

"Okay.Agreed"J.K accepted.Anyway she was just a bait.He didn't need her anymore.He ordered Bob to hand her over to Steve.

"You walk towards me and my man will carry her towards your butler."he said carefreely.

"What do you mean carry?"Jonathan asked.

"Well.You see.She is not in the condition to walk after I gave her a good thrashing"he replied arrogantly.At the same time Bob came with Sandriya in his arms.Her skin was pale.Her hair was in a mess.She had blood marks all over her.Her body had marks of being hit.Seeing her ,Jonathan's eyes filled with rage.He balled his fist and walked towards J.K.His icy cold eyes were focused on him.When he got near,J.K immediately caught him by his collar.He punched him hard until his nose started bleeding.

"Master"Steve cried.

"Just take her and leave"he commanded.

So Steve took Sandriya in his arms and left the room.Before he left,Jonathan gently winked at him.Steve nodded in return.He then immediately went to his car,placed her gently on the seat and drove away.

"What did you signal him to do?Tell me you bastard"J.K yelled.Jonathan didn't reply.He simply laughed at him.

"Why ?Why are you laughing?"J.K's voice staggered.He knew very well that Jonathan wouldnot give in so easily.So if he surrendered voluntarily,something is definitely not right.

"Just tell me already"he said as he pushed Jonathan to the ground.

Just then,the sound of glass shattering was heard.And all of a sudden, the two light bulbs illuminating the room in the basement went out.Though it was 8:30 am, it was pitch black in the basement.Sounds of guns loading and firing were heard simultaneously.Echos of the gunshots were heard in the basement.The firing continued for a while.After about 15 minutes,the firing finally stopped.Only silence remained.The lights went on again...
