Horcruxes

The concept of horcruxes is definitely very interesting. Splitting your soul in half and sealing it within an object to grant yourself immortality. In reality, the process is however significantly different.

Over the years quite a substantial amount of people have accidentally created what we'll refer to as "horcrux" for conveniences sake. The most common cases having occurred when a person buries an amputated limb. Preferably in a way that it doesn't decompose...

Without going further into details, this type of pseudo immortality is not something you should ever desire due to the side effects.
