Chapter 30: Gift

Rai walk down the shopping district of Suotuo City thinking about what he should get for the girls. 'I could get them a ring, if there isn't a ring I like, then I could try to find something unique for each of them.'

Rai walk around the shopping district for a while before seeing an interesting shop that sell, weapons, armor and jewelries. Inside the shop, Rai see an old man who should be the shop keeper so Rai go up to him and ask "Do you have two rings that signify everlasting love?"

"Everlasting love huh? I think I have two in the back." the shopkeeper rely as he go to the back to get the ring. When the shop keeper come back, he is carrying two small case with him.

As the shopkeeper open the case, Rai can see two ring. Each seem to be made up of infinity loops going around in a circle to make the ring. One of the ring is red while the other is light red bordering pink. [A/N: google this 'Saoirse Infinity Celtic Wedding Ring' the first picture is what the ring look like.]

"These are perfect." Rai

"Can you engrave, 'A reminder my love no matter how far apart we are' on the inside of the rings?" Rai ask

"Sure, but it will cost a bit more." the shopkeeper said as it summon his spirit, which turn out to be an engraving knife.

"No problem." Rai said. Hearing Rai's answer, the shopkeeper uses his spirit ring skill, shrink the knife part to be almost as small as a needle and he start writing.

As the shopkeeper was doing his work, Rai walk around the shop to see if he can find anything. As he walk, he would also use observe once in a while. Not finding anything Rai went back to see of the shopkeeper were done.

'I guess I'm not as lucky as those MC in stories where they manage to find vary rare item for vary cheap in a random shop.' Rai thought as he wait for the rings.

When the shopkeeper was done the said "That will be two gold and two sliver." Rai pay the man his gold, put the rings into his essence tool and left the shop.

'I should hurry back to the arena' Rai thought as run. 'Don't want to miss today, if I remember right, today is the day we get an offer to fight the silver grade team.'

Rai reach the arena and saw Yu Xiaogang telling Mubai that he accepted a invitation to a silver grade team. 'Perfect, just in time.' Rai thought.

"I can't help but hear you guys talking about fighting a member of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon clan. Can I join this fight, I want to test how strong my lightning is against their." Rai said with eyes full of fighting spirit.

Yu Xiaogang look at Rai and think for a while before replying "Sure, you can join this time. Seika and Oscar will sit this one out. With a spirit ancestor on the team, we'll have very high chance of winning."

"YES!" Rai said excitedly before turning around to leave. "Bye I have to go find Rongrong and Seika to give them something."

"Are you sure it's ok to show Rai's power so soon?" Mubai ask Yu Xiaogang

"Yes, we are fighting against a silver grade team after all. If we don't use Rai's power in situation like this, then it is useless to keep him a secret." Yu Xiaogang.

"I guess that's true." Mubai

"We should tell everyone to gather to give them the news." Yu Xiaogang.

Rai manage to find Seika and Rongrong walking toward the arena. 'I guess I got here before them.' Rai thought as he run toward them. "Hey! Rongrong, Seika come here, I have something for you." Rai yell while waving at them. Seeing Rai, they let out a genuine smile this time as they are happy to see him again even though it haven't been that long.

"What is it?" they both ask at the same time.

"Are you two going to keep saying the same thing together now?" Rai ask

The girls look at each other and smile then said "Maybe." as they look back at Rai.

"Ok... Well whatever, here I got this for you. Give me your hand." Rai said. He took out the two small boxes from his essence tool as Rongrong and Seika give their hand to Rai. Rai open the boxes, put the red ring on Seika's finger and the light red one on Rongrong's finger.

"I got these rings for you, it's suppose to symbolize everlasting love. I hope that we can be happy together for as long as possible." Rai said making both girl turn red.

Rongrong held the ring in her hand for a bit before quickly leaning toward Rai and peck him on the lip. "Thank you, I'll treasure this." Rongrong.

"You are my girl now, there is no need for thanks." Rai smile as he reply.

"Hey! I thought we were suppose to make him pay for daring to take us both at the same time." Seika interrupted them.

"I was, but I decide to forgive him this time." Rongrong said happily.

"But..." Seika said before Rai interrupt "Seika, do you want a kiss too."

Seika looks blankly at Rai for a while before turning a bit red and saying "yes" in a low voice. Rai lean in and also give Seika a kiss.

"I guess we can forgive you this time. But we won't accept it if you try to bring in another girl." Seika said as she glare at Rai.

Rai gulp and hurriedly reply "Of course not, hahaha."

"You better." Seika said as she turn to Rongrong "Come on Rongrong lets go watch the fights." Rongrong just smile sweetly at Rai while waving good bye and following Seika.

Rai sigh in relief thinking 'I'm glad I got them the ring and Rongrong was able to get me out of trouble. Shikamaru was right, girls are troublesome.'

Rai turn to look at the back of Seika and Rongrong walking away and smile. 'but I guess those two are worth the trouble. I guess I should tell Grandpa, he'll be happy about me and Seika getting together.' Rai pause for a bit before remembering something 'and I hope I don't get kill by Rongrong's dad.'
