Getting Closer

Kim was surprised at the sudden burst of the door. There he saw Eric, he was breathing heavily and was looking right through her. Worried expression was shown from his face, but soon disappeared when he realized she's okay.

"Are you alright Kim? I heard you screaming"

"Oh, that- that was- Uhmn.. I just saw a cockroach, right a cockroach. It suddenly appeared in front of me, so I freaked out. Sorry that I screamed too much, I just really don't like cockroaches"

"Oh, I thought you are trouble. Did you need any help for that matter?"

"No you don't have to, I already made it away"

"Okay... Anyway, I brought your phone, you left it in my car"

"Really, thank you for bringing it back." she said as she took her phone from him.

"That's nothing, then I'll take my leave now."

She escorted him out. As he get inside his car, she waved as she said goodbye.

"Woah, that was really freaked me out. How could he barged in suddenly? Well, I still appreciate his concerned look. Maybe he does not see through my facade"

She went back inside her house and secured her door closed enough, she could not imagine if that was not Eric who just barged in, what might happen to her. But sure thing that wont happen next time.

The next day, she posponed all her sched for the day since she have to finalized the paper for her sister. Her doctor said she might gone out the country to have her sister's surgery since most of their best apparatus are not in the country.

"Its your decision Kim, if you go with us or only your sister. Either way the surgery will be sucessful but since you're her only family, her teraphy and medication would be alot faster if one of family member would be there for her"

"I'll still think about that"

"Well, if you have decided you can call me anytime"

"Okay, I will"

All the paperworks for the surgery was already taken care of, but she have to be with her to give her some spirit to survive the surgery. Though she can still manage her company overseas, she can't take away her mind from Eric. Though she was just away for about six month, she's still afraid Eric would soon find a girl he prefered. More reason to talk with the girls, she needs an eye for Eric while she's away. Maybe her friends would understand.

It was afternoon already when she arrived in her house, she immediately welcomed by her friends who was on her living room. They knew her passcode, so they can easily barge into her home.

"How was it girl?"

"I'm glad she finally have a donor"

"You should treat your sister a quality time after the recovery"

"Thanks guys, but I still have favor to ask of you. Hope you would understand."

She told her friends everything they should while she's away. They all agreed and have no problem in doing it, but they request some souvenir when they get home.

In few weeks, Kim already prepared what she needs to bring. They headed in the airport, they entered the place and followed the routine before boarding the plane. As they finished, Kim assist her sister to climb up the plane. There were three seated which was aligned side by side, Kim manage to place Kim away from third party who will board the plane, which was near the window side. Her sister sit comfortably beside her.

"Sister, I feel excited"

"Me too, just stay put and relax in the ride. Have this to help your eyes, we can't stress you out in people who's going to ask to see your eyes and end you lack sleep when we arrived. Hope you understand"

"Okay sis, I'll be having my rest then"

Several minutes, her sister fell asleep and someone have a seat beside her. She was engrossed with the music she was listening. When all of a sudden the person nudged her. She pull away her headseat.

"Miss Kim, the plane was going to take off, the steward says to take the seatbelt, kindly tell to that person beside you also about that"

"Oh thanks" she buckled up her seatbelt as well as her sister who was deeply sleeping. After she do that, she was frozen when she felt familiar with the voice who talked earlier. She immediately turned around and found out the person.
