His Mistake

For all people, why must Eric have to hear it? Kim scolded herself for her carelessness. She was very frustrated how she just told Eric all about her past with Ethan. Kim cleared her throat while gathering her strength before she speak out.

"Hahaha, was he? How could that be? He's just a person that have a problem with his attitude, anyone who would know his bad side would surely be annoyed." She halfheartedly laugh, deep inside she hated the idea of it. She even hated about the rumors of her being in a relationship with that guy.

"Well, if you say it like that, that might be one of the factor." Eric thought how he also known Ethan and how he knew his true behavior and attitude. Maybe other people might ignore that but for the likes of Kim she can't ignore it.

"So please don't tell anybody about it. How about you Eric, why did you left there?" Even if she knew the reason, she want to hear it from him. She was trying to know if she still have a chance to him.

"Maybe I'll just copy your excuse. I've also hated the guts of that guy. Always provoking a fight. I can't ruin the mood there, when there so many of us enjoying the vacation." He just said, which made Kim wants to know more details. Why would he say, provoking him to fight? Does he still love her ex-girlfriend? She can't help but felt a aching in her guts.

"That guy really have a lot of scheme, even to go that far to snached away your girlfriend." It was few seconds before Kim realized how she carelessly said that.

"So you've already heard about it huh? Don't worry I don't really care about that." He made sad smile before it vanished.

"I'm really sorry about that Eric. Please forget I also said that." She cross wave her hand in front of her.

"No it's fine. I am even glad towards him for having her and taking care of her. He provided all the things and attention that I lack on giving her. If she still stay on my side maybe, she would still be unhappy." Another sad smile appeared on him. It made Kim sad at the same time.

"Why would she be unhappy with you? If she really loved you, she should have stayed." Kim strongly said, even though she just heard fragments of the reason why she left him. Eric was taken aback by what she just said.

"That's right she does not love me enough. I can't blame her about that. I am too focus in my career that even treating her right as a girlfriend was not given to her." Eric thought how he first meet Sophia, and how she end up being his girlfriend.

It was night in a bar, a group of people was having fun on a table. One of them is Eric who have already drunk too much. A girl was sitting beside him, who always gives him several glass of alcohol.

"Hey man, Eric is already down." The group laughed at what Eric looks like while he swayed its head trying to stay up.

"I'm sure he can't go home in this state." one of them said while flirting to the girls beside him.

"Ah, forget about that. We will be staying till morning here" one said who was still drinking too much from the table.

The girl tried to help Eric up but he really could not. She lift his arm, in order for her to get up and lift him. She put again his arm around her shoulder to support him to stand.

"Ohoho, already going?" one of them said with a grin on its face.

"Yeah, I think Eric need to rest already. I'll go ahead guys." she excuse herself from them and take Eric with her.

Arriving from the floor, the elevator opened revealing a long hallway. Good thing the room is not that too far. She grabbed the key card from Eric's pants and open the door. When she successfully opened it, the room automatically lights up. She dragged Eric towards her bed space and dump him there.

"What a cheap drunker" the girl could only shake her head, but she was glad about it. She scanned his face to see how he really an attractive man.

Earlier she was just invited by her friends to join them having a night life. Since she was very interested in having fun for the night, she agreed. But, she never expect they already invited some boys they knew. It was Eric she saw who is more gentleman and kind from them so she sat beside him. When she offer her drinks to him, she thought she could handle it too well, but as she gave him three shots he already knocked out.

"What a silly boy, acting a tough drinker." she says unbuttoning two from his shirt for him to sleep comfortably. She was about to leave when he pull her and hug her. It was so sudden that made her froze. She tried to get up but she can't budge him.

Until the next day arrived, Eric woke up from his sudden need to throw up. He run towards the bathroom. A load of things he throws up. He stayed there until he feels well.

"Ah man, my head really hurts so much." he was holding his head, his vision was a little disoriented at that moment. When his vision cleared, he saw the place full of clothes thrown out and there is a lady sleeping in the bed space. That made Eric froze for a moment. How could he done such a thing, without his knowledge?

"Where am I? Arg!-" Eric saw the girl woke up and froze for a minute.

"This can't be happening. No, how could I let that happen." she was about to cry when She look at Eric's naked form.

"It really did happen. No this can't be." she keep talking to herself.

A foot steps made the girl look again to Eric. When he was close enough, she looked away feeling embarrassed.

"I know you are more hurt from this, I'm sorry I did something is against your will. But I will assure you I'll take the responsibility for what happened." Eric stated, the girl still can't look at Eric. Eric realized what his appearance was, so he grabbed a robe from the bathroom and wear it. He grabbed the extra one and bring it to the girl.

"Please have some shower, I'll be going out for a while" he said before leaving the room. She immediately run to the bathroom and have her shower. When she exit the bathroom, a set of dress laid out in the bed space. All the old dress are now gone, as well as Eric is nowhere to find. She pick it up and change to it.

Until she was done, a knock got her attention. She saw a staff brought food to the room as she opened the door.

She was really starving at that time that she could not resist the food. She was full, when she decided to come down to the ground floor to leave the place. But, a staff told her to follow her. She arrived in the hotel's restaurant, and arriving to the table which Eric was sitting.

"Have a seat, Sophia." Eric who already got up to offer her a seat, she accept the offer as she felt bad if she had not.

"How can you still know my name? And Why are you doing this much to me?"

"I should since I have a responsibility from you. And it is to make you feel comfortable."

"You don't have to, you could have let me be. Are you this simply stupid for not running away since the time you have earlier?"

"I can't do that to a girl. Also this is my fault so I must face it."

"Don't worry if you just felt sympathy towards my situation, you don't have to push yourself to me. I can handle myself and please forget to what just happen last night." she stand and about to leave.

"Wait, maybe this could work out. Please be my girlfriend."Sophia paused for a second.

"Do whatever you want, remember I just said you don't have to push yourself to me if you just felt sympathy. Sorry I'll really be taking my leave."

"Are you okay Eric? You just fell too silent." Kim who have concerned in her eyes.

"Oh sorry, I was just thinking too much." he smiled sadly again.
