New Family Member & New Family Member?
After their feelings had been laid out to one another, Ryker and Saber returned to the castle.
They separated at the entrance with Saber saying she was going to freshen up, while Ryker went back to Iris' room.
Opening the door, what greeted him was a small creature suddenly latching itself onto his leg.
Ryker bent down and scooped the tiny thing into his arms before lifting her up high.
Illya released a peel of giggles due to suddenly finding herself with a vastly different view of the surroundings.
Bringing her back down, Ryker carried her towards the women currently laying on the bed.
Iris was due any day now and it showed, seeing as how her stomach looked as if it was about to pop any second.
She often felt tired and winded from only taking a few steps so she had been spending a lot of her time recently remaining in bed resting.
Coming to her side, Ryker gently leaned down and planted a passionate kiss upon the angelic women, her beauty not diminishing in the slightest as a result of her pregnancy.
Breaking off the kiss, Ryker noticed the gentle smile on Iris' lips and couldn't help but comment, "I'm so lucky to be able to call you my own Iris."
Releasing a bell like giggle Iris' expression turned gentler as she spoke, "I feel the same way, I'm so lucky to have you in my life."
Wrapping her arms around his neck, Iris pulled Ryker in for another kiss.
Illya watched her parents kissing one another with curious eyes, she was still In Ryker's arm and felt like she had been forgotten so she reached out and also wrapper her tiny arms around Ryker's neck, mimicking her mother.
Amused by the antics of their daughter, Ryker and Iris couldn't help but laugh slightly, as the cuddled up on the bed together, enjoying their moment.
It wasn't long before the three were joined by Saber who looked like she had just taken a bath.
Noticing the fierce blush, and embarrassed expression on Saber's face, Iris couldn't help but send Ryker a questioning look. She alright had her suspicions but wanted him to confirm it.
Seeing him nod gently, Iris beamed as she turned her attention back to Saber who stood awkwardly near the door as if confused on what to do.
Feeling like teasing the new addition to their family, Iris spoke with an almost commanding tone, "Saber what are you still doing standing there for, come here."
Hearing Iris' tone, Saber felt guilty, although it was Iris who first said that she didn't mind the two of them entering a relationship and even was encouraging it, she still felt as if she betrayed her best friend.
So with heavy steps she arrived next to the bed with her head down, awaiting Iris reprimanding.
Suddenly she felt a hand grab her wrist as she was softly pulled onto the bed.
She could have resisted if she desire, but she didn't want to hurt her best friend who was currently very pregnant.
Falling onto the bed next to Iris, Saber suddenly felt herself being hugged tightly.
Confused she looked up at Iris and saw the gentle expression on her face causing her to pause for a moment, the earlier stern expression was no where to be seen.
"Welcome to the family Saber." Iris said as she tightened her hug.
Ryker who was on the opposite side of Iris watched on with a smile.
Breaking out of her confusion, Saber was stunned once again, she realized that Iris had been teasing her earlier.
Tears couldn't help but well up at the corner of her eyes, threatening to fall. Forcing the tears back, Saber said softly, "Thank you…"
The three adults and one child spent the rest of the day relaxing on the bed, although Saber was nervous at first, she soon calm down.
They closed out the night by watching movies before they all eventually fell asleep, their limbs were all tangled together as they held onto one another as they slept, Illya sprawled out across them.
The next day Ryker was awoken to a groaning noise.
Opening his eyes, he noticed Iris had just woken up and was holding onto her stomach. A wet stain was visible between her legs.
Knowing almost immediately what was happening, Ryker sprang out of bed at the fasted speed he could manage without effecting Iris.
Saber who was awakened by Ryker's sudden movements, also quickly rose.
Landing on his feet, Illya in hand, Ryker quickly yet calmly said to Saber, "Here, you take Illya and go inform the nurses, ill stay with Iris."
Nodding her head gently, Saber took the now awake Illya and rushed out of the room to inform the maids that Iris had gone into labor.
Ryker sat on the edge of the bed as he held onto her hand gently, awaiting the arrival of the nurses.
Due to Iris' enhanced parameter's she wasn't actually in as much pain as her first time when she gave birth to Illya. There was just a strange sense of discomfort, coming from down below.
She held Ryker's hand tightly, trying to remain as calm as possible.
It wasn't long before Saber returned alongside the Einzbern maids in charge of the childbirth.
Ryker felt a variety of emotions as he watched the maids scudding about.
He wanted to help as much as he could yet he knew it was best to leave it in the hands of the professionals. All he could do was to sit by Iris' side comforting her.
Although there was many different sounds echoing throughout, the room still possessed a strange 'stillness' to it. To Ryker it felt as if things were moving in slow motion.
Yet it wasn't long before that 'stillness' was broken.
As if color had been added to the previous black and white reality, time resumed its normal movement alongside the cries of a newborn child.
Ryker and Iris turned their attention to the head maid which was now holding something in her hands.
She moved over to a water pail placed on the table set up next to the bed, as she slowly cleaned the crying newborn.
Ryker remained frozen in place, he wanted to rush forward and check on his child, yet his mind was holding him back, as if telling him it wasn't the time yet.
Soon that time arrived though as the maid had finished cleaning the newborn and brought it over to Ryker and Iris. She handed the child off to Iris, as Ryker who sat beside her turned his attention to the bundle of life.
It was a boy with tiny patches of silver hair lining his head.
His eyes were closed and his small faced was scrunched up, tears threatening to once more spill out.
Yet not long after entering Iris' arms, the child stopped crying as if sensing a familiar aura in the women carrying him.
Holding her child for the first time, Iris looked deeply into his eyes before calling out in a gentle voice the child's name, "Zenith von Akash"
Reaching his hand out, Ryker gently ran his finger down the child's cheek, feeling the warmth, and overflowing vitality radiating from his allowed Ryker to be at peace.
Turning his attention to Iris, he noticed she too was looking at him with her characteristic gentle smile. He spoke to her softly, "How do you feel?"
Squinting her eyes slightly in bliss, Iris spoke in an equally soft tone, "Amazing, thank you so much Ryker for bringing so much happiness and joy yo my life." Placing her head on Ryker's shoulder, Iris wanted to bask in the moment of the birth of her second child, and first to Ryker.
The room grew quite as the couple embraced one another while looking down at baby Zen.
After a few moments, Ryker turned to look at Saber who was still carrying Illya. She had moved near the bed once she confirmed that everything was finished that way she wouldn't be in the way of the bustling maids.
Saber gently placed Illya down onto the bed, as all three of them watched her crawl towards Iris before peaking her head over at baby Zen.
"Like me?"
She asked Iris while sprouting a confused look.
Iris giggled softly before saying, "Yes sweetie, this is your baby brother, he's like you when you were born."
"Ohh!"
Ryker watched on with a smile as Iris hugged Illya and Zen gently, while feeding the latter.
Deciding it was time, Ryker activated his [Eyes of the Watcher] skill while looking at Zen.
He had felt a bloodline resonance with Zen even while he was still in the womb. The feeling was even stronger now, but Ryker couldn't quite sense what features of his parents Zed inherited, so he had to make use of his [Eyes of the Watcher] to look.

Reading the first line, Ryker wasn't surprised that the status was in a sealed state. It would be illogical for a newborn to be able to make proper use of their abilities so to protect their wielder, the innate abilities often seal themselves.
However, the innate abilities and skills his son possessed was astonishing to say the least. He knew that unlocking them all and discovering what some of the more unique ones did, would take a while.
It didn't lessen the fact that his son could one day manage to unlock innates beyond the understanding of the world, meaning his son could become as strong as he currently was one day.
He noticed that his son had inherited for the most part, both Ryker and Iris' dragon bloodlines.
On top of that he was even classified as a Demi-God due to Ryker's status as a God.
All and all Ryker was looking forward to his son's future.
Gently, he held his family in his arms as they welcomed the new addition to the family.

(Arthur's Note: Sorry if this chapter has errors or doesn't flow properly, I'm currently still on Meds and this chapter was rather hard to right. There was a lot of 'creative' aspects I needed to incorporate, but my mind was just blank with ideas. I'm so tired and my eyes are burning, I have been looking at the screen for hours trying to finish my edits that I'm behind on, but I'm going to go crash now. I have a feeling anything I write in this state wont be at its best. This chapter was shorter then I hopped but it got the points across that I needed it to. I'm sure I accidently skipped over some stuff that I had planned to say, but I cant remember what those were at the moment. There is a chance I do some edits on this chapter at a later date to touch up somethings I feel don't flow properly.)
