Love in the Midst of Mistaken Identities

Its the same storyline where ML forced himself on the FL despite not being in love with her and later in life realises that she was the same little girl whom he had adored in the past but has mistaken her real identity due to the fact that the jade amulet gifted by him had been snatched away from her. If only the FL had been given the slightest opportunity to clarify things instead of being condemned outright for all the uncalled for offences alleged against her things wouldn't have turned out this way...

Are chinese women this masochistic? If you're raped and violated, and treated less than an animal, You still forgiving rapist. It's because you don't love yourself and is lesser than a mentally retarded dog. This novel is disgusting and mental retarded novel with masochistic women who enjoying violated or being treated as trash. I hope this kind of novel get banned. Seriously what's wrong of chinese author writing such a disgusting story, making mc forgiving rapist and abused, douchbag husband, and still love him despite him abused her physically and emotionally. I lost my respect for chinese author. Now I see them as mental retarded or garbage.

I can only say that please stop adding these novels in " romantic " category, I just dont understand why even translator chose this novel, no offence maybe some readers have heavy taste. But a least add them in a different category maybe "horror" This is my sincere opinion cauz I love reading webonel romance novels and I just dont want to stain the word romantic because of theses book!! SOORY for any offence, just my personal thoughts.

With the preview alone, one can conclude that the FL suffered so much in the hands of the ML before he came to realize she was the girl he adored before.. I think I’ll end up hating the ML if I’ll read this.. I really wanted to read a novel with male leads like Mo Ting and Lu Tingxiao who never in any way maltreated their woman but they doted on them as their most precious.. I hope translators will find a novel like those 😉

Dont mind my rant, just have to get this off my chest....Everyone read the synopsis, everyone knew what the story was going to be about, and everyone still voted for this. If you cant handle dog blood tragedies, please dont bother reading them and complaining afterwards because you expected something different. There's a niche in the light novel world for rich, abusive, a$$holes, excuse me ML's, and people love beating this dead horse. (Sorry for the apology, horse/animal lovers). Rant end, thank you. Personally I read the spoilers and it doesnt look like he's going to redeem himself very quickly so I'm going to put this on the back burner. I'll probably come back to visit this story when I feel like i want a good cry.

I don’t understand why these types of stories are added to the romantic category. This story is about the FL basically being abused, and raped by the **** ML. So unless you like reading about the FL being abused and raped, I don’t recommend.

If you're not masochistic and don't like angst, then please don't read this. Coz its loaded. Among all the trashy Male Leads I've read about, this guy definitely takes first place. He's ruthless and dumb enough to fall in love with the wrong person. He tortures her for a really long time (rape, humiliation, actual physical assault, and some more) and then when he FINALLY realizes he likes her, he decides to tie her down to him in the most cruel way (the infamous court scene)... there's not a single likable character in this novel... the main character who's biggest weakness, her love for the Male lead, destroys her. She's too soft. The heartless Male lead. The downright insane mother who prefers a step daughter over her own flesh and blood (seriously, li weiyang would've killed to have her as a step mother). And the step father who's extremely selfish and allows an innocent life to be destroyed just to pacify his own daughter. And of course the step sister who's immediately in 2nd place, after mother and Male lead, in the list of most disgusting and vile characters who is selfish and vain to the point that in her opinion only her life matters, and someone like her step sister doesn't deserve to have even a second of happiness. I haven't actually read the novel, but reading the first few chapters and the spoilers for the book, has given me a good idea of what the story is like.

This is my very first time to loath someone's work. Tbh, i don't always prefer a situation in which the FL end up with the ML. For this novel, in instance, i hope the FL end up with someone else aside ML. The ML is the most jerk ML i've ever depict in all novels that i've read. Well, because of this kind of novel, i subconsciously develop antipathy towards chinese translated novel.

Why even write something like this???????............. If someone ven enjoyes this then they are rotten... I don't even know why the translator picked this one from many others, even those other cliches are way better...

Have you ever wondered what happens when an Author hates his protagonist ? Or have every wondered how much abuse a female MC in a CEO novel can take ? Or did you want to read about devils in Human skin ? Then this novel is perfect for you. I dont think the training punching bags undergo the amount of abuse the FL in this novel does. I dont know anything about the author other than the fact he/she hates his/her FL to the core. The translation quality is good, pretty sure there will be stable updates too but the story characters and world isnt my cup of tea ...
