Qingxia also went to her own room, climbed her bed and slept.

When she came down stairs she saw Mrs Wang serving breakfast and Tang Xiao was already having his breakfast.

"Come sit down " Mrs Wang said.

Qinxia walked over to the table and sat down, while Mrs Wang served her, she lifted her head to look at Tang Xiao and saw he was so busy with his food, then she returned her gaze to her plate.

"Ain't you going to work today?" she asked.

"No, today is weekend"

She made an ooh sound with her mouth.

While they were still having breakfast Tang Xiao's phone rang, he looked at the screen and saw it was a call from Lu Shan.

"Yes" he said on the phone.

" Brother, are you free tonight."

" Why " Tang Xiao said.

" Let's have a drink tonight, come to the Jing Chen hotel "

Tang Xiao hanged up with out replying.

At Jing Chen hotel, Tang Xiao and LU Shan was seated in one of the VIPs, Lu Shan was drinking too much while Tang Xiao was busy watching him.

Lu Shan has been Tang Xiao's childhood friend, they practically grew up together, even with Tang Xiao's cold personality, he was the only one who understands him, and loves him as a brother.

" What happened?, why are you like this?"

" Brother am getting married " Lu Shan said.

"What! How come am not aware of it"

" I just found out, mum just told me about it, it an arranged marriage " Lu Shan said feeling frustrated.

Almost at the verge of tears he said," I'm in love with Hani, I only want to marry Hani, I know I like Xinghe, but only as a.... "

"The marriage is with Xinghe?" Tang Xiao asked.

Lu Shan nodded.

"Why? " Tangxiao asked.

" The company is not moving well, it's

at the verge of collapsing, dad said we need their collaboration to survive, and I can't abandon my family now"

"Brother, what should I do? " he asked.

Tang Xiao didn't know what to say, he just lifted the glass to his mouth and gulped the whole drink down his throat.

Shan was already drunk and dozed off, Tang Xiao settled the bills, then he pulled Lu Shan up, placed his hand on his shoulder and walked out of the hotel, went straight to his car, opened the back seat door and pulled him into the back seat, then he walked to the drivers seat and drove off.

When he got to Lu Shan's house, he helped him inside, and his mother also came out to assist him, as they both helped him to his room.

Coming out Madam Lu spoke " thank you for bringing him back, "

Tang Xiao just nodded in response.

"did he tell u about the wedding arrangement " madam Lu asked.

Tang Xiao just nodded again.

" we didn't have a choice, he should please understand, help us talk to him " she pleaded.

Tang Xiao just nodded and said "Goodnight"

Tangxiao just drove back home, when he opened the door, he saw Qingxia in the sitting room

"Why are you still awake?" he asked

" I'm just waiting for you to get back" she said.

" Very thoughtful " then he moved straight to the chair directly opposite her.

"Can I ask you a question? " she asked looking at him.

He nodded given her a go ahead.

"What do you want from me?, I mean, I've been here for a while now, but you...

"What do you think I want from you?" He cut her off

" I don't know, if I did, I wouldn't be asking, I know I already sold my self to you, so I don't care what you do with me "

" I don't want your body." he said bluntly.

"Then what do you want exactly?"

"To you, I might have bought you, but to me, I just helped a person in need" as he spoke, he got up from his chair and walked up stairs, but before he entered the room she said.

" Thank you "

He paused immediately, without moving a step, then she continued.

"Thank you for everything, I don't know what I would have done without you "

" Just be happy " he said and then he entered his room, shut his door but stood by the his door still holding the door handle looking at his bed, he knows a lot has changed, she might not see it but he's falling for her gradually.

He told her he doesn't want her body, but he does, from that night that he first laid his eyes on her, and saw her cute body shape, and succulent skin he had wanted her, yes he wanted her, but he want her heart more, he wanted her to love him back.

He wanted her to see him differently not just as a person who bought her and saved her from prostitution, he doesn't want her to see him as someone she's indebted to.

Qingxia went straight to her room, sat on her bed, and began to think back on their conversation, she was grateful to him, without him realising it, he is making her look at him differently.

Immediately she waved that thought away, thinking she can't feel anything for him, he can never see her as a woman that deserves his love, she can't let herself fall in love with him, she said to her self.
