Charity Event

Xinghe hurried out knowing that Lu Shan has been ready for a while now, but because she was having problem with her makeup,she took too much time.

She's not the type that wears makeup often, but tonight was different she was attending a ball with Lu Shan gege as his wife and knows better that a lot of ladies will be there, and they all will be well adorned, so she doesn't want to embarrass lu shan.

So she struggled to doll herself up, when she was satisfied with her appearance, she made her way to the sitting room where Lu Shan was.

"Finally"  He stated.

"Sorry,  I just want to make myself presentable "  She replied apologetically.

He nodded and said  "Let's go."

Xinghe nodded and trailed behind him, getting to the car, Lu Shan been a gentleman he is,  opened the door for her to step in before turning round to his own seat and drove off.

Getting to the venue,  Lu Shan stepped out, then went round and opened the door for Xinghe to step out too.

Looking at Xinghe,  Lu Shan smiled and said,

"I have to say,  you look beautiful tonight"

Xinghe didn't know how to respond,  she felt shy,  although he has complimented her before,  this time it's different.

Seeing her face turn crimson, he smirked at her then he angled his elbow, and she shyly snaked her hand into his elbow , and they both made their way into the hall.

Once they were seated, Lu Shan looked at Xinghe and said.

"If you see anything you like don't hesitate to bid for it"

"But you can just do it"  She replied timidly.

"Little swan,  if we are able to bid more than any one here tonight,  it will help the company and we might attract other investors."

Understanding him,  she nodded.

Before long the bidding started, and the Lu Shan was able to acquire a lot of items which surprised a lot of people because rumor has it that Lu's international is at the verge of collapsing, but seeing them bidding made the people to think maybe the rumors aren't true.

So because they were able to make some name there,  a lot of people started approaching Lu Shan and they began talking business.

Xinghe excused herself to use the restroom , coming out she saw a group of ladies talking.

She wasn't interested in what they were saying but when she heard Lu Shan's name she decided to stall a bit, so she can hear what they are talking about.

"I thought the Lu's are going bankrupt?"

"So how was Lu Shan able to bid that huge amount of money? "  Another one asked.

"Well I don't know,  but all I know is that, that guy Lu Shan is so damn handsome"  one of the ladies added.

They all laughed.

"Shhh..... He's married" Another said.

"What? " The first lady asked.

"Yeah.. His date tonight is his wife"

"What a pity..... He's a fine specimen, (turning to the  others) I mean that guy is too handsome, look at his face,  his lips, he's so hot... I will give anything to be in those strong arms of his."

"He will never give you a second glance."

"Well that's too harsh." Another added.

"He won't give you a glance, because he's known for his discipline, alot of girls had pushed their luck in the past but to no avail, so I don't see it starting with you"

While standing beside them Xinghe heard all they were saying and once the lady started describing how charming and sexy Lu Shan was,  subconsciously Xinghe started ogling him.

Her eyes moved from his eyes to his nose, and to his lips, and for the first time in all her life, Xinghe looked at Lu Shan differently.

But soon she shakes her head off that thought.

'He's my gege'   she thought  'I can't have this thoughts towards him'

With that she made her way towards Lu Shan smiling and clinged to him possessively.

Lu Shan shook hands with the men around him, then bid goodbye to them and both him and Xinghe left the place.

Xinghe was awfully quiet on their way home.

Getting home Lu Shan couldn't contain his excitement , he was happy with the outcome of the event,  Lu international will start having investors and soon the company will get to its former glory and he will be able to ask for an annulment.

But he couldn't help the quietness of Xinghe.

"Swan,  are you alright?"  He asked.

"Yes" she answered almost in a whisper.

"Swan,  is something wrong,  you've been quiet since we left the event,  did something happen? "

"No, I'm okay"

"Alright, if you say so"

Then they both headed to their room, after showering they both went straight to their positions and lie down, but Xinghe wasn't able to get those thoughts out of her mind.

She kept remembering the things the lady said at the event, how handsome Lu Shan was and how she wish she could kiss him and be in his arms.

Without even realizing it, Xinghe began to see Lu Shan in a different light.

Once Lu Shan has closed his eyes,  she seized the opportunity to examine his features very well, so from his face her eyes darted towards his body and she also noticed that he has a killer body,with nice abs.

And at that point she knew she was in serious trouble, she was fantasizing her gege.

Realising what she was doing she forced her eyes close and soon sleep came.
