Unexpected Visit

Getting out of bed, Lu Shan had his bath,  and went downstairs.

"Good morning." Nanny Rong greeted.

"Good morning."  Lu Shan replied

"Come have breakfast."  Nanny Rong said to Lu Shan.

"No,  I will just go with a cup of coffee please."  He told her.

"It's not good to leave without breakfast" Nanny said.

"I don't feel like eating anything this morning." He replied.

"Alright, let me pack lunch for you,  so when you are hungry you can eat it"

"No.... I'm not a kid any more,  I can take care of my self,  besides if I'm hungry, I will go to the restaurant." He said.

"I'm not having that Lu Shan,  is either you take the lunch or you eat breakfast here and right now."

Placing a hand on the dinning chair and keeping a straight face she said the next words.

"Your choice."

Lu Shan just groaned and settled with taking the lunch.

He knew there was nothing he can do,  Nanny Rong has been his nanny since he was a baby and even though he's grown up she still treat him like a child which is so annoying.

Taking the lunch he made his way to the door with a frown on his face.

"Hey...  Ain't gonna take the coffee anymore"  Nanny Rong called out.

(No response)

"Alright, but you better get rid of that look on your face, else everyone will be scared of you at the office "  She said smiling.

It's was already late,  almost everyone has left the office,  but Tang Xiao was still in his office, busy with work, when his mobile phone rang.

He looked at his phone, and when he saw the caller, he immediately put the call on silence,  he would have cut the call but he decided to put it silence, because cutting the calls would be disrespectful.

But when the phone rang again and again he decided to take the calls.

"Hello."

"How are you darling?."

"I'm fine."

"Are you home, baby?"

"No, I'm still in the office I have alot of work to do."

"Oh really... I'm already on my way to your house, you know it's been a while, you hardly come to visit, so I decided to come have dinner with you,  I think you should leave whatever you are doing and come home,  I will be waiting for you."

Once the call dropped, Tang Xiao began to panic,  in a different circumstances Tang Xiao would have snubbed her and wouldn't care,  he would have brushed it off,  but thinking of the fact that Qingxia was at home.

He does not want to imagine, what would happen, all he has to do was to hurry back home,  he wouldn't be able to bear it if Qingxia was hurt in any way at all neither physically or emotionally.

He quickly closed his laptop and left his office.

Without observing the rules on the road, Tang xiao drove like a mad man, maneuvering a lot of vehicles.

Soon he pulled his car into his drive way and immediately he came out of his car and headed towards the main door.

Getting inside, he was shocked with the scene that greeted him.

"What's going on here? "  he questioned.

Qingxia was in the sitting room watching a programme on the television when the door bell rang.

She knew it was Tangxiao because no one ever visits, apart from that one time pretty witch.

The door bell rang again.

But she was confused Tang xiao never rings the bell he knows the password,  brushing of the thought, she made her way to the door smiling.

She guessed that Tang xiao wants to tease her again like he did before.

Because Tang xiao knew Mrs Wang wouldn't be home, and that's because she asked for a day off to take care of her sick husband but before he would play his tricks, I will start it first  (she smirked)

But soon the bell rang again and she could sense his impatience.

"Hey,  what's wrong with you,  can't you exercise a little patience "  She shouted before pulling the door open.

"Missing me alr---."

She shut her mouth and the smile on her disappeared the moment she saw the people out side the door.

No it wasn't Tang xiao.

Looking at one of the ladies Qingxia recognized her,  she was the pretty witch, Tang xiao's fiancee but the other one she does not know who she is,  but judging by her look,  she was an elder, probably Tang xiao's fiancee's mother.

She was still lost in her thoughts when she heard the question.

"Who are you? "  The elderly woman asked.

Qingxia didn't know how to respond,  she was still thinking about what to say when Tang xiao's fiancee spoke.

"Mother, that's the girl I told you about."

"I see... Alright excuse me "  She said pushing her way inside,  with her face filled with disgust.

And Qingxia didn't miss out on that.

When they both walked in Qingxia followed behind them, and once they were seated, Qingxia bowed while she greeted the woman.

"What can I offer you?" She asked politely.

The woman lifted her face to Qingxia, looking at her from her head to toes and when she has fed her eyes enough she said.

"Who did you say you are?" the woman asked again.

"Mother she is one of Tang xiao's housekeeper " Xie Ming answered mockingly.

"Housekeeper ?"  The woman repeated still eyeing Qingxia.

"She does not look like one.... I mean she looks so good"

"I think you are one of the gold diggers hovering around my baby like a pest, is this your strategy to trap him?, I mean you come here and pretend to be a housekeeper and before we know it, you become a bed keeper...."

Qinxia started shivering in their presence and as a result of her words, her eyes were filled up with unshed mist.

And just immediately the front door opened and a voice asked.

"What's going on here?"
