Tanya Miles

The Stratos Empire is his home, where he grew up and screwed his first lass. The world where he lived on was considered the pinnacle of its settled worlds. Nobility, commoner and peasant. The world was known as Ruthenia, a world which made its main profit off of making transitioning metals such as Ruthenium from Platinum due to its rich composites of the chemical element.

Vycter's father was a colorful baron of the mines, he had several children and a handful of wives. While Vycter respected his wealth and title, he never respected him as a person. Being called colorful sounded too far of a good compliment.

When the Operative opened their eyes, they found themselves in a room which gave limited sensations. There was no sound, no light. There was no air current, the temperature of the room was as neutral as Belgium. The air itself was stale like a six month old loaf of bread. If you were to bite it, it's likely your teeth would break.

For a moment one could see the surprise, like a child screaming at the sound of a popping balloon or a monster jumping out the closet. It was mixed with fear and curiosity. Her eyes dilated and contracted as a light bulb pointed directly at her face turned on and just as quickly died out.

"Tanya Miles, Stratos Operative. Age Nineteen, trained mechanic, best of her class. Youngest Field Agent ever on the field."

A voice which rang in her ears caused her eyes to narrow. She couldn't even hear the breathing of the man who spoke. Yet she had seen the silhouette of a man a couple inches above the six foot mark.

"Informed are we?" Her voice had changed, it wasn't soft, yet it wasn't like nails on a chalk board. It was a voice of authority and ignorance with just a bit of unflavored arrogance. She was from the capital home world of the Stratos Empire where all special operatives were trained within the Space Marine Corps.

A scoff, a laugh. She felt the lamp which had made a stain on her sight, fly directly passed her head. The lamp shade brushed against her hair as it soon followed. Why was he throwing things?

"How many?" Vycter knew that none of the operatives would know who many other of their kind were placed here. The only way they'd know, is if they an encounters or were instructed to communicate.

The girl paused, his voice was familiar, the shape of his head and outlines of his features were like a lost name. It was on the tip of her tongue. Though the only thing that wasn't familiar, was the demeanor.

The voice sounded like it was from someone who was sharp and civil, yet the demeanor was warped into something more abnormal, anti-social. She felt as if he would brutalize her should he simply feel like it.

The original Vycter was considerably sociopathic, he seemed not to care for consequences that didn't affect him directly. His emotions were tools, extensively controlled. He emulated other emotions to manipulate others for his own gain. This person wasn't the same, yet she could definitely feel some sort of methodology here. Everything was calculated, even the setting.

She lowered her head as if submissive and went to move her arms, yet she felt nothing. She couldn't feel her arms. She couldn't feel her legs. She blinked trying to concentrate, tried to adapt to the darkness.

However every moment she was about to see in the dark with limited light, he would flash a light, each time of higher caliber. She felt blind, restricted. Was this torture? She saw the psychological effects that this sort of treatment would have.

Was he actually not interrogating, but testing her? Or was he just having fun? He knew who she was from the moment she reached that hill. She knew he knew she was coming. It was if someone tipped her off.

Her eyes narrowed, she looked up at him, at least where she had last saw him.

"How many what?" Her tone sounded like one surrender to another's efforts, yet there was still a spark of defiance.

"Fingers. How many fingers, am I holding up?" He asked, flashing the light once again. She could tell his hand was being held towards his chest thanks to his elbow's position, yet because of the depth of the silhouette, she was not able to even see the fingers.

"I… Don't know?" She squinted, her eyes half closed and mildly active. "What is the point of this?" Her voice was that of annoyance, yet she was no longer the least bit curious. That annoyance was definitely on its way to becoming anger.

Even if she became rash, there was no way for her to physically leave the spot in which she had been placed. She couldn't see nor feel her limbs. She didn't know why, yet she could feel something limp against her back.

Shifting her weight, it was like she was tied to an anchor. She was being held in place by something heavy. She rested her head backwards, letting it lull without restriction. She hit her head against something solid, flimsy. Like a the surface of a pond, the solid she hit reverberated in ripples as if distributing all of the force behind the blow.

"Hm…" Tanya leaned her central mass forward, then bit her lip as several clicks were heard. It sounded like her shoulders. Her torso shook lightly, shivering almost. It was an uncomfortable feeling.

That's when she felt a hand on top of her head, her senses went astatic. Every little fiber in her body screamed danger. Quickly lifting her head up, she felt the hand glide onto her face. The familiar texture of this calloused palm made her wince.

What scared her the most was the fact that she hadn't heard this masculine figure make his way over to her. It was like a ghost.

The hand itself was the same temperature as the room, yet its fierce vibe felt like it was about to melt her face clean off her skull. She began to pant fearfully. Her eyes were glossing over. She knew this was a fear tactic.

Whoever this man was, he deprived her of senses. He abused the ones which were given limited freedom. He restricted her movement to the point that even if she were unwatched and unguarded, she wouldn't be able to escape.

A clear, concise and easily recognized civil tone suddenly erupted from the man before her. "What does the Emperor of Stratos want with this abandoned servant, Little Ladybug?" The voice combined with the tone, gave validation to the girl's thoughts.

"Senior, Price?" Her heart felt cold, even though she knew who it was, it made her even more afraid. Price had been married to a wealthy commoner, but it wasn't through arranged marriage, but one admiration. He accepted the proposal and married Tanya's sister on a whim.

Vycter Price Jr was infamous for his lust for young women, marriage was nothing but a contract. Should he die in service, such as how he was registered now, his money and estate would be given directly to her sister.

Price had touched her sister more than she was willing to allow, to the point that it was molestation, simply to pass the time whenever he was on shore leave.

Now Tanya found herself in the hands of someone who had been abandoned by the Empire, thought dead by the Empire. So now he had the sister of the person that now owned his land and monetary wealth. Little did she know, this new Vycter didn't care about that.

The lights suddenly turned on when she had said his name. The moment those lights came on she was blinded for a few seconds, but as soon as she could see his face, it was like an ice pick had chipped her heart. His face was blank, eyes were looking through her as if she were some sort of insignificant ant. Disposable. Expendable. Breakable.

Her eyes darted hopelessly to her arms and then to her legs. Panic began to ensue even more as she began to notice that there were hundreds if not thousands of tiny needles in her four limbs. Her nerves were blocked and she couldn't feel nor move them.

"If you wanted to know that kind of information, then why do you have me situated like this!?" Tanya screeched loudly, as if it was the only thing to save her life from fading, from the lights going back out, from her being secluded and left alone by him. As if it was better to have him around than nobody else.

A simple, honest answer that ripped right to the core of the reason. "Just wanted to check the effectiveness of this method. Especially since you're not going to remember it later."

The Operative was startled, stared at him for a few moments, stunned by the words of the second sentence which followed. She opened her mouth a few times, only to close it again as if she didn't know how to respond.

"Answer me." A single demand reached her hesitant ears.

"To… make… c-contact…" She was speaking relatively slowly, as if either trying to get the point across or there was just too much rummaging through her head.

"Spit it out." Tanya almost bit her tongue as he said this, trying to writhe her head away from his grasp. His hand just followed her like a reign to a horse. "Or I'll lay eggs down your throat."

Tanya didn't know whether or not to laugh or cry from this kind of threat. Was it some sort of joke? The Vycter she knew only made sadistic, monotone, sarcasm as his main staple.

Taking in a deep breath, she let her thoughts center into focus. "T-the Emperor wants to make contact with the person who started the domino effect; causing riots across this backwater planet against its standing government." From what she could see from this man before her, he liked things simple and clear. So she gave the clearest explanation possible and at the simplest of manners.

Closing her eyes as she saw him nod from between his fingers, she let out a sigh of relief as his fingers trailed off her face. Finally, she had been released from his grasp. Was he going to let her free?

Suddenly she felt something a few inches thick, which traveled the length of her chin to her brow, land upon her face with a moist slap. It was warm and sticky, smelled sweet but sexually potent. She opened one eye opened and she slowly focused her sight upon intromittent organ laundering on her face, her heart almost shattered, she almost puked in her mouth.

"P-Price, I told you what you wanted to know." Her voice was shaky, irregular, pleading as if asking for mercy. Yet she could see with one eye, his hand none. "Plea– Gwah," She was rudely cut off, the whole length was in her mouth which made it even harder to breath.

Tanya didn't dare bite down, she could already feel with the tip of her tongue that her teeth and jaw weren't strong enough to do much damage. She descended from a herbivore sub-species of humans, her teeth were literally flat and meant for grinding its food rather than tearing it. Even if she bit down it'd be like trying to squish a stress ball filled with warm liquid.

She tried to cough it out, but all she could do was choke. That's when she suddenly felt a strange feeling emanating from the back of her head. A tingling sensation she recognized from mind probes at the academy. However this was different, she could resist and suppress probes, but this… It was breaking through all her mental defenses. Her teary eyes looked up at Vycter hopelessly.

It took a few minutes longer until she suddenly started to scream as her mind was assaulted by a high frequency resonance that shook her whole being. He shoved her head back a bit, taking the member out and wiping it off with a handkerchief as if it were some swiss army knife. Only moments later would she go silent and become limp after losing consciousness.

A single man walked in wearing a white armband with a blue medical cross on it, came walking into the room. His head was buzzed like a typical military man, but his face was as young as seventeen. His eyes were sharp and unattractive, yet the rest of him was the grade of a teen model.

He began removing all the needles from her arms and legs with relative ease, pulling strings which were attached to groups of them.

Allowing himself remain ignorant of the saliva which dripped from her mouth, he didn't even glance towards Vycter. This was one of the runaways which were trained by Ren and Eni. His main purpose was on base medical, his main practice being acupuncture.

"That's all Deni." Vycter waved the man off, patting him on the back on his way out. Once Deni left the room, Vycter went ahead and unzipped the mechanic's jumpsuit the girl had been wearing and inspected the bandages binding her chest and battle scars on her abdomen.

Letting out a sigh seeing the sight, it looked like she had been physically tortured as there were many permanent marks. Undoing the binds, he discovered a horrifying brand centimeters beneath her left tit.

She had been at one point branded by a slaving ring on Riodia Prime, an undercover operation which he knew had gone awry a couple years ago.

That's when all of a sudden a ding was heard as the system began to print out various sets of information pertaining new quests and their rewards.

"…" Trading her jumpsuit for a hospital gown, he picked her up over his shoulder and made his way out of the interrogation chamber found below the basement level. Without a second thought he used the private lift to the second level which was under development. It was supposed to be the medical and training section, the first thing he was going to do was remove the scarring and the horrid brand.
