Level Gap
Have you ever played an MMORPG game before.
Players starts from level 1, everybody calls it the newbie stage.
As you go through your adventures you start gaining experience, then you start leveling up and your character becomes stronger and stronger.
Along the way, you gain skills and attributes which helps you to deal with the monsters that you face.
Monsters progressively gets stronger too, which in turn gives you more experience after your battles. This experience allows you to level up faster and defeat even more higher leveled creatures.
Eventually you will reach a level high enough that when you go back to the first monsters that you were fighting, back when you were just a measly level 1 newbie. You find can kill them easily, even with just one strike.
You won't even be afraid since a lower level monster's damage is so insignificant and your defence is way too high that you can simply stand there all day and allow them to hit you, and there won't be any scratch your body.

Adam watched the girls fight on stage with a carefree attitude.
With all the enhancements and skills that he gave the girls, its like watching a level 5 newbie trying to go toe to toe against a level 500 fully stacked Overpowered Legendary Ranked Player.
The girls don't even need to exert any effort to defeat their opponents.
He agreed for the girls to go through this event due to the overwhelming odds in their favor.

Adam watched as Eve climbed the stairs up the battle stage. She's the second girl to go up the stage and fight. Among the 6 girls
He watched amused as she realized the absurdity of getting scared with her opponents puny attacks.
He already knew of Lanara's skills but didn't let Eve know so that he can watch what she would do.
He admits that he almost ruined it all when he saw the first arrow hitting Eve but was fortunate enough that Astoria was by his side and soothed his shoulders when she felt his tensed muscles.
He realized later that he'd almost blown the planet when he noticed the notification on his heads up display.

It was Maya's turn next.
After watching the first 2 matches and seeing that Niome and Eve was so OP against their opponents, she went up the stage with the intent of testing her skills instead of being scared from getting hurt.
Her opponent is a Hero who specializes on electricity, the guy was even capable of summoning lightning.
He belongs to the second largest Human kingdom in the twin continent.
Their capital is Olympus and it's located at the northernmost tip of the Demon's Thorns.
In fact their King's fortress is located on the tallest mountain in all the jugged edge.
Thalum is the eldest son of the King and the sole inheritor of their most sacred weapon. The Mjolnir.
Just like the first 2 girls who went up the stage, she allowed her opponent to showcase their skills first. Then when she was able to fully gauge her opponent's attacks and confirmed for herself that it is indeed true that her opponent can't possibly harm her, she started her attacks as well.

Being the first prince of the Olympians, Thalum was raised to be the next Zeus. From a very young age he was given all the good things in life.
Food, young girls, wealth, you name it Thalum got it, a lot of it.
Their family is famous throughout the Human kingdoms for their great affinity with lightning. Elemental magic has four major branches. Fire, Water, Wind and Earth. The elves for example are a race most attuned with nature elemental magic and the famous race from the deep sea, the Atlanteans who's affinity to water are something that nobody can match.
Aside from the four main branch of elemental magic there are those who specialize on something else. Some elemental magic users combines the base elements to create a new kind of magic and some creates a totally new one like necromancy.
Thalum is in fact this generation's prodigy with his high compatibility with lightning magic.
For the first 10 minutes of the fight, everyone was mesmerized by the lightning show that Thalum was generating.
He can cast lightning strikes from his from his hands, he can turn himself into a lightning current and hide himself within the clouds above the colosseum and strike back down to attack his opponent. He can even summon a huge thunderstorm that could level a good sized city back on Adam's earth.
Unfortunately for him, lightning attacks are based on electricity.
He might have the capability to match Maya's speed when he turns himself into lightning but all his attacks are actually making Maya even more powerful instead of damaging her.

Maya felt the over abundance of energy flowing through her body.
After satisfying her curiosity about her opponent's attacks. She started her own skills.
She decided to start with a simple energy based skill that she thought would be awesome against Thalum's speed.
She's curious which one is faster, laser or lightning.
She was planning on maximizing the situation and test as much of her weapons as possible so she decided to use one her most basic and simple energy based attack.
Unfortunately, she didn't account for the fact that she just got super energized with all the extra juice from the lightning attacks.
She she saw Thalum turned himself back into his human form, she fired her shoulder mounted laser at him.
The energy released was almost comparable to a billion watts of energy funnelled into a twelve inch diameter laser. It completely obliterated Thalum's head along with the shield behind him that's protecting the crown. A few of the audiences were killed by the collateral damage and a twelve inch hole were carved into the arena stands.
A few seconds later Maya was declared the winner.
