Awakening and Cultivation

Turning around, he saw the tiger preparing to pounce on himself after charging closer. If it wasn't because of his Sharingan, he would not have the leisure of thinking about such possibilities, even if they were split-second thoughts. With his boosted reaction time, he immediately thought of the two abilities he wanted. Creation… and Destruction…

Almost simultaneously with his thoughts, his eyes suddenly released an overwhelming pressure of power as if it was the awakening of a dragon, evaporating the aura of lightning around the tiger and sending it backward tens of feet.

The tiger slid across the forest clearing, trying to gain its ground after the release of power. It looked up at him in fear and wariness.

While the person who released such power was in awe of his power and was currently relishing the feeling of the energy flowing throughout his body, or specifically, in his eyes. With this power, he felt like he could see how everything was created and as well as how everything could be destroyed. He saw what could be considered the origin. Not only did he see such images, he actually felt the power to carry them out!

Almost as if with only a single glance, he could send mountains into pieces and clouds to form.

'This is power…' he thought in astonishment.

Blinking as if trying to adjust to the power, he soon looked directly at the tiger, but this glance seemed to contain the power and the profoundness of the universe, freezing the tiger stiff in fear.

He raised his eyebrow in surprise at the tiger's reaction. 'I merely looked at the tiger and it's already in this state?'

But not only was he surprised by the tiger's reaction, but he was also surprised at how there seems to be something flowing through the tiger's body and it wasn't blood.

'Could this be Qi? After all, I am in a cultivation world,' he speculated.

Although his eyes can see through everything and do pretty much anything, it would not mean he would understand everything.

'I should get adjusted to this power as soon as possible.'

As if not wanting to bother with the tiger, he said after taking a deep breath, "You can go now."

Immediately, the tiger fled leaving a pungent smell behind.

He sighed in relief now that things seemed to have calmed down and unconsciously deactivated his eyes which were in the shape of

He dozed off into space for a few minutes as if needing some downtime after what just happened.

After a few moments, his now-black eyes cleared up as if he came back to life.

'Alright, so what I got from the crazy situations that happened in the recent few minutes was that my activated eyes can be considered very strong to the point where a casual glance from me could freeze such deadly beasts as that tiger. Not only that, the ability to see the creation and destruction of things should be further studied as well as the usage of Qi,' he thought of a mental list of what happened and should happen next.

But first things first, he was hungry. Using one of the most basic abilities of creation, he created a simple meal and ate.

'So the Qi seems to be like what is in novels. A source of life, power, and energy, in all lifeforms, to carry out any and every task but somehow my eyes don't seem to be needing Qi as a source of power. Frankly, I don't even feel tired at all after using it. Well, I can only assume that due to the origin-level ability of my eyes, it wouldn't need a power source which would set my life here on easy-mode. But still… I'm in a cultivation world so I should be using my eyes as a last resort or for convenient purposes. Yeah, that's what I should do.'

With that thought and a somewhat goal set in mind, he soon set out of the forest he was currently in.

---

Now knowing the existence of Qi, he tried to feel the Qi around him in the forest while walking but didn't feel it. He could only assume that was because he did not have a cultivation technique.

Believing so, he immediately thought of creating the perfect and strongest cultivation technique tailor-made just for himself while opening his palm and facing it upwards. And with that thought, a book soon materialized out of thin air, landing upon his palm with the name, "Primordial Chaos Cultivation Technique."

Reading the domineering name on the cover, he wasn't really surprised. Creation and Destruction together would be the Primordial Chaos which is compatible with each and everything, but can only be cultivated by users who have the ability of creation and destruction, which is a one-of-a-kind.

Feeling excited and proud of the creation of a cultivation technique that could rock the heavens, he immediately stopped at the nearest clearing and sat down to read it.

Activating his eyes which created and unbearable pressure around the surrounding area, he promptly read it and tried his best to understand its contents. The contents were actually pretty simple for him to understand since they were created with the purpose meant for him to read and cultivate with.

Very soon after, he sat down cross-legged and started to cultivate the Primordial Chaos Technique. Almost instantly, one could see him being strengthened at such a rapid pace that it looked ridiculous, but unexpectedly, the surrounding Qi diminished by only a small amount.

'The surrounding Qi is mostly impure…" he thought.

Obviously, if he were to cultivate the Primordial Chaos Technique, only pure Qi would suffice but due to reasons such as time, the surrounding Qi began to become impure. However, after feeling strengthened by pure Qi, he physically felt tens of times stronger, but his cultivation could only be considered at the first stage of whatever cultivation levels there are.

If compared with others at the same cultivation, his pure Qi would've made his physical body tens of times stronger while regular impure Qi cultivators would've only doubled or tripled their strength from normal.

He stood up with an unsatisfied expression.

'I should probably find more clearings to cultivate the little pure Qi available. I don't want to be underestimated due to my cultivation level.'

Deciding so, he backtracked to every clearing he walked passed by and cultivated the meager amount of pure Qi within the area. He also met some beasts and animals on the way but fended off hostile ones by activating his eyes. His strength at the first stage of whatever cultivation levels there are could be comparable to the third stage, but the beasts and animals here were clearly on a whole different level of power.

By the end, he had scavenged most of the forest and only managed to move up by what he felt was two more stages. His battle power could now be considered at the eighth stage though he felt his cultivation was only at the third stage.

Still feeling that it wasn't enough, he sighed in defeat. 'I feel like my cultivation level can only be considered below average, but my strength isn't, but at least I won't be looked down upon as a regular mortal.'

Finally feeling like he had nothing left to do, he walked towards the area where he saw a road right outside the forest probably leading towards civilization. (AN: Princess in carriage?! Damsel in distress?!)
