Chapter 3 - Test

My first impression of this room was ... big and old. Like fantasy films and Rpg games.

Places with atmosphere like this make me a little nostalgic, i used to explore the ruins filled with ancient buildings, some of my days spent exploring such places .

The difference, the place I explored is the ruins, as the name suggests it is a remnant of history, damaged buildings, a neglected place. While this room look like city that has just been left recently, there are no damaged buildings, it does not look like a historical heritage at all.

Nonetheless, both the ruins and the room have one thing in common, which is to have a very foreign style, as if coming from a distant place and distant era.

On the right the room has a large white angel statue, has big wings , hands holding a sword facing down .

On the left there is a black statue of the demon, no less great than the statue of an angel on the left, also has bat wings, and arches grow above his head.

Devils and angels, representing day and night, and white and black but not good and evil.

For angels themselves, lovers of beauty, ethics, and courtesy. They will look for followers with the same appearance as them, like humans for example.

Because it is also for angels, racist race, barbaric, and different looks like demon race is a crime.

As for racist races like the demon, it is impossible for them to do good to humans. Following angels, humans also hate demons.

But unlike angels, humans do something excessive, they fight the demon.

Seeing the demon being hurt by the human race , the race they considered to be a lowly race, the demons felt insulted. They then bring disaster to the human race as a learning, as if saying "stop interfering in superior racial affairs" and bring disaster to random places .

For people who don't know anything, who don't fight the demon. This disaster further strengthens their view that demon is a crime. They are increasingly fighting demon.

But the difference in strength between humans and demons is too big, humans then pray to angels seeking protection and support .

Of course angels will respond to the prayers of their followers, they create attributes that can hurt the demon and teach humans as protection. Which is now known as white power, light power or holy attribute.

Gaining the power from angels, making human arrogance soar, they considered human strength with the holy attribute to be on par with the demon , with confidence on the basis of human revenge again fighting the demon.

Devils are getting angry, seeing angels interfering with demons consider human actions to be what angels manage, they also hate angels.

And so the war between angels and demon is happening, continuing until now . Because holy attributes are more effective in hurting demons, angels continue to develop holy powers and make them their main strength.

I know the story after learning one of the ruins I've explored. The truth of the story is still uncertain, but the relationship between angels and devils is really troublesome, if possible I don't want to get involved in a dispute between the two factions.

While continuing to think I kept watching the room , besides the statue really did not have anything in this vast place , only the hallway was filled with 6 pillars in each statue .

Even though it doesn't look like it looks like there is no moss or cracks in the wall, the floor has a lot of dust, as I learned in the study.

At the end of the room is another door that leads to the test place. But as people who know about the future, I don't need to bother taking a test like everyone else.

I stood facing the angel statue and looked up , when seen from near the statue it looked even bigger.

I took a deep breath and shouted towards the statue.

" You guys are hypocritical angels, you are not a symbol of kindness at all " "Yur mum gay " "You will be poor seven generations." "*********" and other invective words.

Angel statue "..."

If the statue has consciousness, I wonder what reaction he will give. Seeing someone they don't know suddenly berates him like someone who has a very deep grudge, maybe he will get a word like "What the fuck ??" or something like that.

But here is the test room, which is protected by Gaia's strength, of course he won't want other factions to observe this place without his permission.

After shouting long enough , I immediately stopped and exhausted my breath. Staring at the picture of an apple under the foot of the statue, using dust on the floor I tried to cover up the picture.

I then turned around, and took turns facing the demon statue. Also using dust on the floor, I drew an apple under the devil's feet.

"Yosh" with this is all over. Because there is someone who oversees this test room , I have to pretend to just do the usual actions and continue walking to the test hall .

But I only heard a few steps i hear "Ding! Ding! ding! " voice from the pixie. I don't know since when he was behind me.

"Congratulations! The test examiner has decided you have passed. Once again congratulations !! " he said with a very fake eager expression.

Speaking of test examiners, I actually knew who he was , as well as from the demon camp where Gaia bought dungeon rights.

Test examiner is one of the descendants of the demon king of arrogance, Lucifer's . Although the dungeon master will have nothing to do with the demon fraction, still if you want to become a dungeon master , the candidate needs prior permission from the creator, the devil. This is another reason for the test to become a dungeon master.

Pixie looked at my apple streaks covered with dust and a picture of the apple I made. A strange smile formed on his lips.

"Take an apple from an angel and give it to the demon, Hnn ... you're quite knowledgeable too huh?!. But aren't you afraid of getting hate from the angelic faction after doing this? . "

The pixie expression didn't look like a professional expression anymore, maybe all my actions made him a little surprised.

" It's none of your business, you yourself don't matter not doing your duty properly? Hurry up, don't talk too much and do it like a normal procedure"

Because Gaia protects this room, why am I afraid angels know my actions?

"Alright-alright, wait a minute."

While waiting for the pixie to do the procedure, I looked up.

To be honest, I really don't really know about the fact the golden apple is something that angels and devils have in it. I have no idea what the golden apple is, and why the devil did it. But that is enough.

The inventor of the trick to pass this test quickly is someone else, but I modified it a little.

One of the dungeon masters who happened to be a member of the demon faction accidentally discovered this trick, when he was doing a test and saw the angel statue he immediately insulted him, he then prayed to the demon statue.

This action makes it pass the test quickly.

An easy trick doesn't mean I can't imitate it, I'm not a member of the demon fraction and I don't want to be considered that way.

Because of that, I tried to analyze it, plus the fact that the test examiner was a descendant of the demon king Lucifer, I thought maybe the act of insulting angel statues was an act of pride in line with the test examiner's preference, and the act of praying to a demon statue made the examiner happy after all candidates are his followers.

If I do the trick, I will be considered a person from the demon faction, while I don't want to be involved in a conflict between the demon and the angel.

That's why I modified it.

The act of insulting an angel statue is an act of pride while telling the demon that 'I am not a follower of angels'.

And I did not pray to the demon statue because I wanted to tell 'I am not an angelic follower but I am also not a demon follower' to the test examiner .

For Apple's problem is my own improvisation as a backup if the action was still not enough to please the test examiner.

I'm happy because everything works smoothly.
