Chapter 14 - Greedy Capitalist

For the 1st floor Dungeon, such as Habitat, lakes, rivers, animals, and trees have been applied automatically and randomly, while the safe zone still has to wait for adjustments to the Dungeon master first.

The biggest safe zone, I put it in the middle or center of the Dungeon, right where the Dungeon attackers will respawn from the Lobby.

And the remaining 4 small safe zones, made scattered in shared directions, 1 in the southeast, 1 in the southwest, 1 in the northwest, and 1 in the northeast, 2 km from the main Safe zone.

In my view, I will use large safe zones as the main safe zone. while the small one I use as 'front line'.

Safe zone generally only contains a wide field with a translucent barrier that protects from all sides, has a square shape with a length and width of 1000x1000m, while the small one has a size of 200x200M.

The 1 km is quite extensive, occupying a tenth of the length / width of the dungeon.

Even though the presence of a large safe zone makes the Dungeon feel even narrower, I didn't buy it without reason, in the study I learned there were some suggestions for managing Dungeon from my previous master.

Suggestions such as 'it is recommended to put a large Safe zone in the center of each floor' the reason for this action is quite simple, because the floor area can still be expanded, while the safe zone cannot.

Dungeon masters can only replace old ones and buy new ones. Really wasteful. If I have more money I won't buy a small but medium sized safe zone.

Unfortunately, the medium size is still not available at this time, only when the Master has opened the 2nd floor, then the medium sized safe zone menu will be available at the Dungeon shop.

Safe zone itself has an important role, most monsters like to explore, whether just looking for food or to guard their territory by patrolling, and they tend to expand the area for a long time they will wander to near the center.

Beginner Dungeon attackers are vulnerable to attacks and are affected by trivial things such as fatigue, hunger, small injuries and others. They need a safe haven to rest and do other things.

And only 1 safe zone in the center is not enough at all, a considerable distance from the place of exploration is the main reason for this problem. This is where small safe zones play a role, with the presence of 4 small safe zones, novice Dungeon attackers need not worry anymore about a safe place when they want to explore the Dungeon even further.

Realizing the importance of additional safe zones, and because the medium safe zone is not available at this time, I am forced to buy a small safe zone first, and then in the future when the Dungeon is expanded, I will replace it with a medium safe zone.

The makers of this Dungeon system are truly greedy capitalists.

I tried to calm my heart back and focus on adjustments.

In large safe zones, I add 3 monster exchanges, while for each small safe zone I add 5 monster exchanges, more than the main safe zone, after all 4 other safe zones are small, those four are 'in the front'. The attacker dungeon will visit this small safe zone more than the small safe zone behind.

Monster exchange will later be used by Dungeon attackers to exchange monster body parts with energy cristal, this time I provide this service not free of charge as much as 1 cristal of energy per exchange.

Actually, if I want, dungeon masters have the right to make any service be paid, such as making use of the safe zone paid or even making the Dungeon attacker pay every time they enter the floor.

But I will not do such a bad thing, at least not for now.

Apart from monster exchange, I also added a small ballista in each safe zone, 8 ballistas for large safe zones and 4 for each small safe zone which would later be used as defense.

Even though monter can't enter the Dungeon, it definitely won't be fun if the monsters swarm around around the Safe zone. Because of that, ballour is needed.

The operation of the ballista will be carried out automatically by the Dungeon, except that each use will be charged 1 energy, which can be fired 10 times.

Doing this might be someone who would think, if it paid, wouldn't the Dungeon attackers be reluctant to use the ballista? Besides, monsters won't be able to enter safe zone, so as long as the Dungeon attackers are safe, they won't want to waste money on unnecessary things.

Of course things like that won't happen, using a balista isn't not profitable at all.

For every monster killed by a ballista, the corpse will belong to the user who pays the ballista, just imagine if 1 ballista kills 10 monsters, the lowest monster is valued at 1 energy, so killing 10 monsters will get 10 energy, users will get as much cashback 10 times. Who does not want to?

Because it doesn't need to worry Ballista will be lonely users, but this system still has some problems such as theft of bodies, for example.

Unlike the game, when a monster is killed it will not have any sign, which indicates that the person killed him.

So to avoid theft of the corpse later I will order one of my subordinates to carry out surveillance, plus the game system and dungeon security system.

I will create a player color system for the Dungeon followers, if the Dungeon attacker stole a corpse using a balista, I will change it to yellow Player, and forbid him from entering the dungeon from 1 week to 1 year.

A fair system.

I don't know who invented this method, but in the future this system will become common in most Dungeon.

After installing the 2 items that I wanted, now it is just a payment process, with the capitalist nature of the creator of the Dungeon it is impossible for them to give these items for free. If it is free, I certainly will not place items in a limited way.

For the ballista sold for 10 energies, while the monster exchange is not sold, it is rented at a cost of 10 energy per month.

3 monster exchanges in a large safe zone plus 5x4 in a small safe zone, which is rented for 2 months, (3 + 20) x20 = 460 energy.

8 ballista (large safe zone) + and 4x4 ballista (small safe zone) = 20x10 = 200 energy.

Previously to build a room and buy things on the 0th floor I spent 250 energy, my remaining 2600 energy was reduced to 2350 energy, now reduced by monster exchange (460 energy) and balista (200).

My money is only 1690 left. Really drained very quickly.
